Amu stood at the balcony of a hotel room, hands resting on the rail and her hazel eyes gazing at the sunset. A small breeze came and long pink strands of hair blew into her face. Her fingers slowly lifted and brushed them back, a light sigh leaving her lips. “I don’t understand it much…” she spoke to the figure behind her. “You see…you leave for years…and around the time I come back…you return...Were...Were you searching for something too?”

“I wasn’t aware that you were searching for something...But...Yes. Yes I was searching for something,” the figure spoke. His tone was light yet broken but still had a touch of seriousness.

“I left to find you. I thought that if you came back, things would return to the way that they used to be. People wouldn’t get separated, everyone would come back together again, and maybe…just maybe…I would be who I used to be once more,” she replied lightly before looking at him over her shoulder. Her hazel eyes met deep blue orbs that used to give her a sense of confusion; now they gave her a sense of hope.

“Amu, you shouldn’t have left to find me,” he said.

She fully turned towards him, leaning back against the rail. Doing this revealed glistening tears that rolled down her cheeks. “Then you shouldn’t have left, Ikuto...” Suddenly, she turned again and launched herself over the rail and fell feet first. She could hear the echo of his tortured and strangled yell of her name.

Kukai and a kid from his soccer team were walking around. The streets they were taking were almost pitch black, and the only time you could really only even see them was when the headlights of a car went by and shined on them, but it was country roads so that was pretty rare. They spoke fairly quiet, as if the emotion was tense in the conversation as the kid said, "So who was the girl you left to go see a while back? You never really introduced her but you seemed close."

"She's an old friend of mine that left to find something." Kukai replied.

"You're not fooling anyone Kukai." The kid said back.

"Of course I am. Just not you." Kukai looked towards the street, away from the kid.

"I guess you do have a point." A powerful gust of wind came very suddenly and lasted for about a minute, as it hit though it almost knocked them both off their feet.

Amu was taking a walk when the large breeze came through. She braced herself by bending her knees and covering her face with her arms. When it slowly died down, her long hair, currently tumbling down her shoulders and back in soft waves, was windblown and in her face. She brushed her bangs back to the side as she looked around. Something felt very off about this. She then turned on instinct and dodged an attack by an X-Chara. However, this particular chara looked more human than the others. This disturbed Amu.

Kukai had an odd feeling after the wind passed, and immediately he still knew what it was. "Oi, this way cmon fast." Kukai grabbed the other kid's arm and began to run back towards the city.
The kid didn't have much more then a second to think, but managed to begin running with Kukai. "What is it Kukai?" The kid asked.
"Shut up and come on, I'll explain later." Kukai demanded, and they ran quickly side by side.

Amu cried out as a black aura attacked her, sending her a few feet away from the X-Chara. She landed on her back with a loud thud and she gritted her teeth. More X-Chara's were appearing out of no where and were starting to surround her. This was definitely not good.

Name: Ikuto Tsukiyomi (月詠イクト, Tsukiyomi Ikuto)
Nickname: (Not Specified)
Age: 24
Looks: Ikuto has blue hair and eyes. He is taller than Amu Hinamori and Tadase Hotori.
He wears a choker with a silver cross. He is most often seen in his black school uniform, but he has been seen in other black (or indigo) outfits.
Personality: Ikuto is enigmatic, aloof, stoic and a little naughty, much like an alley cat. He can also be sweet and kind. He likes teasing people, especially Amu and Tadase. Ikuto is selfless and protective, thus, he is willing to distance himself from those he cares in order to protect them and stop them from getting embroiled in his own troubles. This explains why he kept himself away from Utau after she allies with the Guardians. Another example of this is when he makes fun of Tadase so that he'd be hurt and make Amu hate him, so ultimately they [Amu and Tadase] would not meddle with his troubles with Easter (especially Amu).
Although Ikuto may seem to have a passive personality, he is quite perceptive and honest.

Kukai finally showed up doing a character transformation and quickly went into the air and blew a bunch of the X-chara's back as he passed. "Amu-chan! You need to hurry!" Kukai yelled to her.

Amu looked up at Kukai with wide eyes. She then shook herself out of her state of pain and shock before standing and clutching the Humpty Lock tightly. Her eyes closed and the lock started to glow. The wind picked up as a white glow and slowly trailed up her legs, encompassing her. The X-Charas cried out in anger and frustration from the brightness of the glow.

Amu's eyes shot open and hazel was shining through the bright white glow. Memories played within her mind, causing her heart to pound painfully. Minna...I know that me leaving the way I did hurt...but i swear on my life that I am here to stay!

The glow broke away from Amu's body, revealing her in a very different and very new Chara transformation.
