Shugo Chara: Revival

That's what I thought at least. Once Ikuto left Japan to search for his father, things have changed. Tadase has been more...temperamental if that's even possible. Utau barely contacts me. Kukai's more involved with Soccer than ever and is even ignoring Utau despite the crush the two share for each other. Rima's just being Rima...just double it.

And then there's me. Hinamori Amu. The once Joker of Seiyo Academy has reverted to her old 'Cool and Spicy' ways. It doesn't bother me the looks I get. But since our Guardian Chara's have returned to their eggs...I've lost all the confidence and fire I once had.

Recently...strange things have been happening. People have gone missing, strange attacks against innocent families where only the children are left un-harmed and yet confused.

It's been seven years since I saw Ikuto. I could only wish that he was here now.

But as Dia indicates, she needs to know herself better in order to be able to do any good at all. Amu is quite stubborn, doing what she has always intended to do and focuses on it. Underneath her "Cool and Spicy" attitude however, she is lazy and often wants to simply lay down and relax

A tall figure steps out of a black car in a pair of black jeans, a red v-neck tee, black boots and a black short sleeved leather jacket. It's currently Autumn. Her long pink hair is up in a high ponytail that swishes from side to side every time she moves. She shuts the door to the backseat of the black cab, her golden eyes adverting from the vehicle to the pinkish-red and black plaid suitcase. She sighs softly, eyes closing for a brief moment as she fingers the Humpty Lock that resides around her neck and rests just above her cleavage.

I wonder if we're ever going to see each other again...if we do, then, maybe...things will get better.

This is the thought that she repeats to herself just to keep her motivation in tact. The young woman opens her eyes, a sad look occupating the sun-lit irises.

There's no use, she thinks, however as if reality has set in. If he wanted to come back, he would've done so already.

"No use in hoping for someone that probably has forgotten you," a small voice pipes up. She gasps quietly and turns swiftly for just a moment, hearing a distinctive echo of a figure that is familiar and yet a stranger to her. Her pink brow furrows into a frown, as another look of sadness overwrites the other.

Dia... she thinks with despair at the former yellow diamond girl's figure fills her mind. All that's left is the small yellow and black egg that resides in one of the small carrying cases in her bag.

She looks up and down the street, familiarizing herself before seeing one familiar house. She had gone there before, once to meet up with Utau and Rima. She picks up the handle of the suitcase and wheels it behind her as she walks towards the door, a hesitant nervousness in her stomach. This also shows when she bites her lip, a habit that she later picked up in her freshman year, and knocks on the door.

A kid that looked about the same age as her came walking down the street. He walked with a large group of people, and all of them wore the same blue uniform, but had different numbers and names on them. The kid in the middle had a brownish spiked hair, and he carried a soccer ball with him as he laughed with the group.

Suddenly he looked at the girl, "Uo?" He thought for a second, thinking he knew the person. "I'll catch up to all of you later, at the cafe on the corner right?"

"Yeah." One of them replied. "You know her?" He continued.

"She's at my house isn't she?" He said un-entertained.

"Alright we'll talk to you there." The kids said as they continued walking, but the Brown spike haired one broke from the group and walked towards the girl as a older women opened the door.

"Ohayo Maman." He waved.

[Cali]

The pinkette turned with slight wide eyes that then softened. Her lightly glossed lips turned up into a lazy smile.

She nodded a greeting, "Konnichiwa, Kukai-kun," she replied. "I see that nothing's changed," she observed with a soft laugh, eyeing the soccer-ball in his arm.

"Ou." He stood shocked for a brief moment before smiling and saying, "You seem to have changed to much." He commented before turning to his mother and saying, "Watashi wa sugu ni ie no haha ni naru." She nodded closing the door.

"It's about time you return to Japan. Wanna come get something to eat?" The brown haired kid invited her.

[Cali]

The young woman smiled as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "That would be nice. You can tell me what I missed," she smiled.

[Freedom_Elite]

"Pfft. I can't figure out what you haven't missed." He laughed. "Comeon, the soccer coach is putting an open party at the cafe around the corner to celebrate. He said bring everyone and anyone."

[Cali]

She smiled a little, shaking her head. Maybe...some things haven't changed... she thought to herself.

[Freedom_Elite]

He began to walk down the street. "So what brings you back here?" He asked.

[Cali]

With the shrug of her shoulder, she replied, "Japan's my home. Always will be." Her answer was quick and immediate. "I just...can't stay away".

[Freedom_Elite]

"We were beginning to think you forgot." He told her, "The group still..." There was a pause before he continued, "Well you could call it together, but I'm not sure what you're definition of that is." He laughed.

[Cali]

"What do you mean?" she asked, fearing that the answer wasn't the one she wanted to hear.

[Freedom_Elite]

A sigh came. "Everyone has... Well they've gone a little extreme at focusing on sports, jobs, and just stuff... Utau went to southern Japan for a while to do some concerts... Tadase has been.... Well... Tadase. Kairi is about the only one that's remained semi-normal, except he comes to visit a little more then he used to."

[Cali]

"Oh...," she murmured sadly, frowning. "Maybe I should've stayed," she remarked guiltily.

But Amu-Chan, it's not your fault that this happened. People grow up. You've grown up too, right?

Amu suddenly stopped and turned with a small gasp escaping her. That voice she heard belonged to none other than Ran. However, the little chara in pink wasn't there. She sighed sadly, closing her eyes as a few memories popped into her head.

Minna, I miss you all. I miss you all so much, she thought to herself, hands suddenly clenching into fists and her teeth gritting as she felt tears trickling down her cheeks.

[Freedom_Elite]

"What's the matter Amu?" Kukai asked looking at her and noticing the tears.

[Cali]

"Everything...everything is wrong," she whispered, not noticing the blood that trickled out of her hands. "Ran...Suu...Miki...Dia...they're gone. Completely. Because of me. Because I made a mistake."

[Freedom_Elite]

"What's so bad that you could have done?" Kukai questioned.

[Cali]

"I searched for something that wasn't going to be there. I searched for days and months and nothing!" she yelled, suddenly turning towards him. Her hazel eyes were completely bloodshot and frenzied. "I fucked up," she whispered brokenly. "No matter how hard I try, they wont come back."

[Freedom_Elite]

"Well. What did you think would be there, that wasn't here?" Kukai questioned, confused and trying to understand what was going on.

[Cali]

The look on Amu's face was one no one in the group has seen before. "I was trying to find out why the X-Eggs are returning... I had a solid lead and it lead me to a warehouse. You have no idea how many of them there were..."

[Freedom_Elite]

"Amu." He said with a laugh. "Don't you remember anything from when we were kids?"

[Cali]

Her hands clenched once more. "Are you kidding me? Of course I remember!" she yelled. "I remember every damn second of it! But you don't get it....no one does...They're returning and targeting us." she finished with a whimper before turning around and running off.

[Freedom_Elite]

"Ou." Kukai's face became shocked before he began to run after her. "Amu! Wait!!!" He yelled.

[Cali]

Amu ran and ran, her fists pumping at her sides.

At the sound of a laugh, ominous and maniac-like, Amu skid to a stop and looked up to the sky. A X-Chara floated above, stranger looking than the ones she remembered as a child all those years ago. Her eyes widened as it laughed once more then screamed as it let out a dark energy towards her.
