Nite didn't say anything, trusting the kunoichi's judgement. "If you;re leaving, call and tell Naruto so he doesn't panic and think you got kidnapped again" I teased her.

Sakura nodded gruffly before standing and stretching. She winced at the tenderness of her healed wounds but it was nothing she couldn't handle. She was damn thankful she wasn't in the usual hospital gown but instead in the white t-shirt and pants. She grabbed her bag, "Be right out," she said before going inside the bathroom to change.

Sasuke nodded as Sakura walked out in jeans, a cropped loose white shirt that was off one shoulder and said in hot pink cursive 'Just Be Friends', and white ankle boots with a small heel. Her hair was put into two loose pigtails.

Sasuke nodded, "I'm in because you just don't do that to someone like Ayumi, especially after what she went through a while back." Sakura nodded then finally noticed his arm around Nite's waist and gaped. "Holy shit, you two are....Ah hell! It's about fucking time!" she yelled with a grin on her face.

When she spotted him with some other girl, she felt pissed. When they kissed, she was beyond raging. She took off running. "SAI!" she screamed causing them to break apart. She slammed her fist into his face, sending him flying.

Sai just stood there, taking the beating. He knew. kami, he remembered. That's why he hadn't broke it off. e didn't want to hurt her any more.

"Why I outta!!" Sakura growled but a hand clasped around her shoulder and shoved her back. She gasped when she saw Ayumi herself standing there. "Then what do you want to know?" Unlike the heatted tension in the air, Ayumi's voice was soft spoken and sad.

Sai stared into his eyes. "Why did you just leave me behind? You always said you were alright but, I knew you were hurtm. Where did my Ayumi go? The one I used to snuggle with on long, lazy days and who would laugh when I said something stupid. Since what happened....I almost felt you blamed me for what happened." He muttered softly. "What did I do to make you shut yourself away like that, Ayumi?"

Tears were streaming down her face. "Sai, not once did I blame you for what happened to me. And that Ayumi...that part of me? She's still here. I'm still here. I was just afraid. I would always look to you for comfort because I knew you could keep me safe. I knew that you could bring me back." A choked up sob escaped her as her arms wrapped around herself. "I didn't know how to be myself again. I felt as if...if I seperated myself then...then I could find out how."

Despite what he'd done, Nite found herself rooting for them, even if it was just because she knew how much Ayumi loved and needed Sai.

Ayumi buried her face into his chest, crying softly. "I'm sorry for not letting you in. I'm sorry," she trembled slightly. Sakura stood back, watching the scene unfold with a slight smile on her face.
