Gigi sat primly and stared at Anya, he was a cat and he would go when he wanted to. 'Nuff said.

"She didn't want to stay there, we couldn't anyway. Jeff could've hurt her more there then he could here! I'd like to remind you I am older than you and thus known Jeff longer, he wants me to run so I am running. I will kill him though and that's what he doesn't expect." I growled back.
I was losing the fierceness though, anger had turned into pity. I just felt sad for his ignorance, not mad anymore.

Anya continued scrubbing at the floor, trying to get the stain up. She sighed and just sat their for a few seconds, looking at the stain.

"Im talking about before you left. When you nearly drained her and forced her to be your personal slave. Whne you nearly choked her to death because she read your journal. When you brought her on the mission. You have risked her countless times." Dakota snarled into the phone.

"I was emotionless then.. I couldn't understand why I liked her, I had to eliminate it... Then, then things got complicated." he said rubbing his forehead.
Gigi gave her the kitten look and mewed.
"I couldn't hold it.."

Dakota shook his head. "I'll call you back when we find what you are looking for." he sighed into the phone before hanging up. Brendan was right, he should take a stand and step out of bounds. But not at the risk of a human life.

Anya glared at the kitten then back at the stain. "We are getting you a letterbox ASAP and you are goin to learn how to use it." she grumbled softly, scrubbing again. She was on her hands and knees, close enough to Brendan that her hair brushed against him when she moved.

Brandon moaned and fell back, glancing at Anya before his descent. He watched her for a moment before sighing. "I'm sorry about that.. " he mumbled exhausted.
Gigi blinked and tilted his head cutely.

Anya finished cleaning up the spot before going back into the bathroom and washing her hands. She came back out and sat next to brendan, a worried look on her face. "What can i do?" She asked him softly. She brushed back his hair gently and watched him. "What did you guys talk about?"

"Tolerence, obedience and will. It was quite exasperating, I might add. There really isn't much you can do about it, it is Ducky's(one of Brandon's nicknames for him) choice and he doesn't seem to understand the consequences." Brandon sighed and wrapped an arm around her.
He marveled in how natural but amazing it felt, her flesh was warm, unlike his own, and he felt her heart beat through her skin. Instead of appetizing it was almost relaxing.

Anya laid down next to him when he wrapped his arm around her. She put hrs head on his chest and closed her eyes. "Sounds....interesting." she finally muttered and let her fingers intertwine with his as he took her hand.
The cold was weird, but she liked it. She loved it when he would hold her, or wrap his arm around her. She loved beig close to him.

He laid there happily, the first time in centuries. He began to laugh, basking in the feel of happiness and memorizing the feeling he had lost. He laughed loudly, letting the pleasant feeling saturate his skin and his laugh deepened into a natural rumble.

Anya looked up at him when he laughed. "You alright?" she asked him, smilin at the laugh. It was nice to hear a real laugh come from him. Even if the fact he was laughing randomly scared her a bit, it was nice to hear.

"I'm happy..." he said timidly, tasting it's sound and feel on his tongue.
He took a deep breath and released it, afraid of the word.
"Happy.." he repeated slowly, enunciating each syllable slowly.

Anya smiled when he repeated happy. "Why are you so happy?" she asked up, looking up at him. Her head rested on his chest and her fingers intertwined with his. The heat in the hotel room was awful, but he was nice and cold. So even though it was probably close to ninety degrees, Anya felt perfect right now.

Anya blushed bright red to what he said and curled closer to him. It was so adorable that he would say something like that, no matter how cheesey or cliche it sounded. She sighed as Gigi climbed up to their hands. She sadly pulled her hand away from Brendans and started petting the cat. "Why are we laying on the floor, brendan?" She asked, glancing up at the bed behind them.

Brandon shrugged and sat up flinching at a knocking at the hotel's door. He furrowed his brow and stood, glancing at Anya.
"Go in the bathroom and do not say a word no matter what." he growled sharply.

Anya sighed and hesitantly stood up. She took Gigi with her and went into the bathroom and closed the door. She leaned against the door and sat on the ground on a towel. Fear struck her and she started betting Gigi as a distraction. "Dont say a word." She whispered softly to him.

Brandon sighed and opened the door to a perplexed looking dingy man. The man was small and thin, with white hair and a professional looking mustache.
"Sir.. We heard that there was.. A disturbance.." the man rattled on and Brandon easily placated the man with apologies and shut the door.
He heaved a sigh and called for Anya to come out.

Anya walked out slowly and to him. "What was that about?" She asked slowly, her heart pounding in her chest. She was so scared right now. What if they had to leave here? Her arms tightened around Gigi and she bit her lower lip.

Anya remembered and nodded. "Right." She was so scared then. she looked around the room. "Why did you tell me to go hide?" She knew the answer, but prayed it wasnt what she thought it was.

Anya nodded and looked at her feet. "Will we ever be safe again?" she asked hesitantly, looking down at her hands where Gigi sat. She tried to avoid letting him see her eyes, because she was trying to hid the sadness they held. They also showed how scared she was.

"Yes, I just have to kill Jeff and anyone else who gets in our way." He said firmly.
He pushed Anya's face up gently by the chin and looked into her eyes. "Don't worry, I will take care of this. Don't think about it, Kay?"
