Anya looked up at him and nodded. "Alright." she wanted to believe him that everything would be alright. She needed to believe him to stay sane. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug.

He sighed and rubbed his temples. "I need you to try and contact your werewolf friend. I need to go out and do some business there, keep Gigi with you at all times."
The kitten blinked, his eyes glowing a brighter violet.
"He is more than he seems.... I..I love you."
He hustled himself out before she could respond, snatching his leather jacket on the way.

Anya sat there, stunned. Did he actually say that? Her heart pounded in her chest as he left and she reached over for the phone. She cldialed in Zoe's old cell number and prayed it worked. She picked up quickly.
"Hey Anya?" a girls voice asked into the phone.
"yea. Zoe, I think I need--"
"Already here. In the room a couple doors down from you. I didn't trust your vamp friend when he took you off..." and with that she hung up.
"Oh Gigi...what is going on with my life?" Anya sighs and flopped back on the bed with the cat in her arms. brendans 'i love you' played through her mind.

Zoe walked down the hotel halls and ran into Anyas vamp boy. "Oi. Vampy, got a call saying that you Needed me."

"None of your business. Now leave me alone." he murmured gruffly and hushed her away. He sped forward, another vamp trick, and out the door. He had to hunt down Jeff and he had to do it soon.
Gigi laid on his back mewling, random told him to protect her and protect her he will. He was a guardian after all..

Zoe rolled her eyes at him and walked to Anya's room. She knocked on the door, used the master key she had swiped and was in within seconds. She walked over to anya who was laying on the bed.
"You are insane. Running off with a vampire?! What the hell is -- what is that?" She asked, seeing the black fuzz ball on her chest.

Zoe looked at the fluff ball and had to keep herself from bashing her head into the wall. "He got you...a cat. He expects a cat to gaurd you? Oh god....I am in way over my head here....we are going to die..." She mumbled to herself, her eyes closed.

Gigi prances around for a bit, stumbling on his stubby kitten legs. For anyone viewing it it was adorable.

"brendan is putting his faith in a cat...And a clumsy cat at that...your vampire is going insane, Anie....This cat is ridiculous...he cant even walk properly!" Zoe exasperated, slightly frusterated.
"I like him...he's adorable!" Anya picked gigi back up and ruffled his fur.

The kitten widened his eyes and looked at Zoe. "I am adorable.." he mewed.
The kitten sneezed out a puff of violet sparkles and blinked.
How could the werewolf not smell the guardian on him? He had given her so many hints already, it might just be his natural scent that differed from other guardians. It might just be the werewolf had never smelt a guardian or Evan seen one before.
Gigi was stumped.

Zoe looked at the cat more closely, sniffed it a couple times and stuck out her tongue. The took it from anya's arms and turned it over a couple times. "Damn guardian...So, lemme guess, you have been assigned to Anie?" She held the cat out at an arms length and looked it over.

The kitten growled as he was shook up. "Heyeyeyeyey! I am not a doll! Technically I was assigned to Brandon buut the whole Vampire thing is hard to guard so he switched the connection from himself to Anya."

Zoe glared at Gigi and dropped him back to the ground. They were on a death mission. "Oh anie...what mess did you get yourself into?" She sighed softly, sitting down at the foot of the bed. Zoe couldnt believe that she actually couldnt wait for vamp boy to get back. They would need all the help they could get.

"Ever thought about yoga? You are very tense, it might release some of the anger you've been hoarding over your condition and everything. As I said before, I am more than capable of protecting Anya so you do not have to be miss grumpy pants... Got take a hot bath or something really.. Jeeez!" he retorted as he stretched.
Within the stretch he let a little magic grow him to a bit larger than a house cat. His body was much leaner and less fluffy but the wild animal in his eyes grew. Although calm he dared the werewolf to provoke him.

Zoe rolled her eyes and looked down at him. She resisted from saying some profanities at him and walked over to Anya, pulling a small book from her pocket. "Just incase your 'guardian' isn't around, I have a few protection charms I want to teach you. They are in an old language called Kastamian." she started to explain some background about the spells to her friend. Very few knew the ancient language and only a handful could read it and know what it means.

"brendan!" Anya cried jumping away from Zoe and her lesson. She ran to his side and brushed his hair back. "Oh god....what happened?" She asked weakly, her voice trembling. She looked up at Zoe for help and she rolled her eyes before coming over. Between the two of them they were able to move him from the ground to the bed. "Gigi....what's going on?"

"Well, from what I can tell he prolly tried to get to Jeff and was attacked by the guard creature. Which means that Brandon is either poisoned or seriously hurt... I don't know if his vampirism will help him heal though.."Gigi mused.
Brandon moaned and clutched his abdomen, blood began to soak his shirt.

anya's hands trembled and she looked down at him. "What about a healing charm? I saw one in Zoe's book. That should work, right?" She glanced overat zoe, her eyes scared.
"It...it might help him heal. But it probably wont heal him fully, Anya." Zoe told her honestly but anya was already reaching for the book and flipping through the pages to find it. "Anie...no, you could make things worse --" but anya was already resiting the charm.
"Y Ayadu tyu!" Her voice had a power behind it that Zoe had never heard from anyone resiting the charms. Fog seemed to swirl around anya and Brendan and her eyes were black. Brendans bleeding slowed.
"Oh gods....Gigi, anya's a witch? Did you know this?" She asked the cat, watching what was going on infront of them. Anya couldn't have known, if she did she wouldnt have been stuck with the vampires for so long.

(plot twist! again....)
