Anya giggled softly as Gigi started to lick her ear. "No problem, brendan." She put the cup in his hand and looked over him with a smile. "Thank you, for the kitten. He's....Adorable." She scratched Gigi behind the ears again and smiled down to him.

reese nodded and looked down to her cup. "Alright...Raz. Call me Reese...please?" She never really liked the name Arisa for some reason. Maybe it was because she disliked her parents, therefore disliked the name they gave her.

Dakota grinned as she leaned back into him. he kissed her neck right over her palse, his fangs iching to come out. "Mind if i hate a taste?" He asked her softly, his other arm going around her to keep her against him.

"I thought you'd like him, he had a sarcastic quality that made me think of you.. Not that you're sarcastic." he said meekly.
Brandon slurped the hot chocolat slowly savoring the bitter sweetness happily. He took out his cell and dialed the masion, his plan went onto step two, plus he needed someone to tell him about emotion supressment, and what happened to him physically so he could fix it.

Via desperately wanted to tell him no, but she couldn't reject him. She knew that he could make her life a living hell here or even kill her if he wanted. And she also knew that he was so much stronger than her. "Of course, Master," she said, her tone placid. She just hoped she didn't feel the vemon.

"Absolutely," Raz said, taking a nother drink of his tea, which was now cooling. "Tell me, Reese, how did you end up here?" He asked. "If you don't mind telling me."

Dakota's fangs grazed against her neck right as the phone rang. He groaned and pulled away from her, letting his arms drop from her side. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He told her softly, brushed her hair away from her neck.
He ran out to the room with a phone and picked it up quickly. "Hello?"

Anya smiled to him and put the kitten in her lap again. "Thats good, i guess." She petted the kitten behind its ears and down his back. After his phone call she had some questions she needed to ask him. One being, why a flying cat. Two, why did he have that break down. and Three, if he would be alright.

Reese looked at him then back down to her tea quickly. "I was out one night, walking in the park to clear my mind. I met dakota and he saw how upset i was. I dont even remember why i was upset....just that he was sympathetic to me. We talked for hours, and he distracted me to the point where i let my guard down. Once my guard was down, he kidnapped me and brought me here." She said softly, looking down at her hands. that was years ago.

Raz slowly took her hand, the feeling showing the pure respect and understading he had for her. She may have been a slave, but her spirit was strong and she had a good heart, which Raz felt was admirable.

Via's nees felt weak as soon as she left and she dropped to the floor, quivering slightly, but she tried to get it together before he came back in the room. She didn't want to show any fear toward them at all. She also couldn't deny the excitement that was coursing through her veins.

"Yo, cowgirl. Wazzup?" Brandon said trying to stop himself from sounding hurt. He winced as his faced healed quickly then rolled his neck.
The kitten nuzzled Anya's neck, lounging his body on her shoulder.

Reese blushed lightly when he took her hand. She took a quick sip of tea and shifted again. A small yawn forced its way through her lips and she blinked a couple times. She had been working all day for over ten hours and most of it was manual labor. her body was giving out on her, even though her mind was still racing.

Dakota rolled his eyes and sighed. "Why did you call? Arent you happy with your runaway? you are inturpting my snaktime...." He grumbled the last part into the phone, a glare on his face.

Anya giggled softly and smiled down to the cat. "you are going to be a handful, arent you?" She asked quietly, careful not to talk too loud because of brendans phone call.

Raz shited the girl so she was leaning against him and he could tell she was getting tired. "I rpromise you can sleep here without worry," he said gently. He wasn;t going to hurt her. For some reason, he thought he was developing feelings for the little human.

Via was so temped to run away from the voice she heard in the other room. Hot tears were streaming down her cheeks as she panicked, but she couldn;t get her body to move. Not even a little. She didn't nknow how much damage he was going to do, either.

Reese looked up at him when he pulled her against him. "Thank you, raz." She smiled up to him, slightly hesitant. But maybe he was telling the truth. maybe she would wake up in one piece. She curled against him and used his shoulder as a pillow. Her eyes slid closed, but she wasn't quite asleep.

"Via." Dakota answered the first part before going to the library. He broke down the locked door easily and walked in. "Yup. I can get it. you might need to get a new door though. WHat am I looking for?" He asked, looking around the room. Maybe he could call Via in here to help him. That way he could keep an eye on her and watch her work again.

Raz kissed her hair gently and sighed, though the breath didn't give him any satisfaction like it would with a human. He rested his head against the back of the couch, watching the fire go, absently, just content to have her in his arms.

Reese felt him kiss her head and nearly jumped. She kept her eyes closed and calmed her breathing. Why? Why was he so....nice? Another yawn escaped her lips as she soon passed out against him. His safe arms were welcoming her to sleep.

"Emotion suppression, the library is alphabetically organized. Did you jump that gal you liked yet? " Brandon asked loudly.

The kitten almost smiled and crawled onto Anya's head.

Raz wrapped his arm around her gently and went back to thinking. It was better now. He didn't feel as hollow. Having Reese around sort of numbed the ri that he felt in his chest, the empty cavity where his heart used to be.

Dakota growled into the phone. "Which gal are you talking abou?" he asked, his voice low as he wandered the library.
"Via!" he called for the slave, putting his hand over the mouth piece ofthe phone to quiet the shout.

Anya looked up as if she could see the cat on her head. "You are going to be a handful." she laughed and picked the cat up off her head. She reached into her bag and pulled out an extra shoelace and put the kitten down on the ground and dangled the string above it's head.

Reese murmured softly as she slept, a small content smile on her face. Her subconscious knew she was safe, she she was able to rest easier. Small murmurs of names escaped her as she slept. Raz and Dakota came up frequently.

Via hurried to her feet, actually stumbling into the library and wiping her frightened tears. She was different from the graceful girl before. Now that fear had cracked her, she was clumsier, more prone to flinching and recoil... She also wouldn't talk often.

Dakota smiled to her and walked over. "I need you to find a book." he told her softly, brushing back her hair. "Emotional Suppression." he led her desk into the library where the book should be. A grin formed on his face once he let go of her and took a step back to watch her.

Gigi began to attack the shoe laces, viciously chewing on it and punching like an adorable jungle cat.
Brandon laughed, "That Via girl, why are you covering the mouth piece?"
He sighed sadly and rubbed his forehead.

Dakota growled into the phone again. "I don't like her. And I covered the mouth piece so I wouldn't blow your eardrum when I called for her." he explained. "She is just a snack...or is going to be if I ever get a chance to bite her. If anything the only thing I like about her is how she reacts to me and how gracefully she moves when she works."

Anya laughed lightly at the kitten and held the string so high up that he couldn't get to it. This was entertaining for her. She smiled at Brendan before looking back down at the car.

The kitten flew up and latched onto the shoe lace, hanging there while gnawing on it.

"at least she hasn't tamed me like your little Anya has. She has you wrapped around her finger, mate. And all it took was one word." Dakota tsked into the phone and shook his head. "So I may want to jump her, but I won't be tamed by her. And face it, you would love to jump Anya." he grinned and waited for him to reply.

"Gigi!" Anya laughed lightly and put her hand under the kitten. She held him and let the string fall ontop of him. She shifted over and sat next to Brendan, her head resting gently on his shoulder.

The kitten cuddled Anya and nuzzled her cheek.

Dakota laughed richly into the phone. "Aren't taking orders? You went against Jeff to keep that thing alive. I'm betting you if she asked you to do something, whatever it was, in a heart beat. You know you would do whatever it took to keep that...human," he sneered the word, "happy."

Anya laughed lightly, petting the cat. "I do love you, Gigi. And you are very adorable." she leaned against Brendan as she stroked the kittens soft fur.

"What's so wrong with doing things to make me happy? For 300 damn years I haven't been happy! I am going to be happy. Just because you are too afraid to step beyond the threshold of th mansion except when you're told to doesn't mean I have to be unhappy. You were a human too once, do you not remember? I do! Why be someone's pet? You are merely a puppet in which Jeff is the puppeteer! You go be a docile pet, my friend, go do as you told like the obedient idiot you are. Don't worry about being happy, You'll never get the chance to grasp it, even if you did you'd let it go like a fool. Never mind. I need not your help nor anyone who is satisfied in being caged. Good day." Brandon growled.
He felt fire build up inside him, his friend was afraid and stupid. Yet for some reason he felt like he should pity him, he felt sorry for him. Emotions clogged his brain and he wiped away an angry tear.
Gigi scampered out of her hold and onto the floor where he promptly peed on the floor.

"Gigi!" Anya sighed before getting up and going into the bathroom to get a bucket of soapy water and a papertowel. She would need to get him a litter box. And food. Maybe, somehow, brendan brought taht stuff with him. She sighed and went back to the puddle to begin cleaning it up. Here she was, on her hands and knees cleaning up messes. You can take the girl away from being a slave, but you can never take being a slave away from the girl.

Dakota growled into the phone and took a calming breath. "At least i havent put her life in danger. How many times have you risked Anya's life? How many times has she nearly died because of you, or around you? How often have you scared her half to death?" He challenged, glancing over at Via. Maybe brendan was right, he did have feelings for this girl. But at the same time, he could never let them show. Not here, not with jeff and his rules.

Gigi sat primly and stared at Anya, he was a cat and he would go when he wanted to. 'Nuff said.

"She didn't want to stay there, we couldn't anyway. Jeff could've hurt her more there then he could here! I'd like to remind you I am older than you and thus known Jeff longer, he wants me to run so I am running. I will kill him though and that's what he doesn't expect." I growled back.
I was losing the fierceness though, anger had turned into pity. I just felt sad for his ignorance, not mad anymore.
