Anya sighed and shook her head. "I am sorry, your majesty." she couldn't bring herself to sneer the title. She bowed slightly before leaving. Of course he wasn't her friend...her only friend was out in the woods. she went to her room and let a few small sobs break through her chest. She hated it here.

Brandon sighed and sent a box of tissues to Anya's room. He didn't even mind that his action could be confused with feelings for her, which he didn't have.

Anya blinked. She didn't want a box of tissues She wanted someone who would care for her feelings. Only Zoe had cared for how she felt, but their time together was short. she was tired of being treated like this...like she was nothing. Its how she was treated her whole life and she was done.
Anya crawled to her bathroom and shut the door. She leaned against it andnpulled out her knife. She flipped the shiney blade open and looked at herself in it's reflection. "Sorry Zoe, but I'm done."
She slit her left wrist and winced at the site of the red river that came down her hand. She pSsed out on her bathroom floor, a small pool of blood starting around her.
The knife rolled out of her hand with a soft "thump". What had her life come to that she was driven to try to take her own life?

(I think this goes without saying...but I prefer that she doesn't die...it would be nice of we could save her without changing her too, but hat isn't as important.

The sent of blood hit his nose, he knew that blood, that scent. Anya. He growled and zipped down to her room and broke through her locked bedroom door. He easily found her lying in a puddle of her own blood on her bathroom floor. He blinked to clear his head then picked her limp body up.
"why did you do this?" he asked while stroking her pale cheeks.

He bit his own wrist and brought it to her mouth, she would change unless she died within the time of him giving her blood. He would only heal her"
He liked her.

Anya felt a warm liquid drip down her throat. She coughed awake slowly. Brendan was holding her, his wrist was to her mouth. He was forcing her to heal. He was saving her.
"No...no!" she pushed his arm away from her. "I hate you! I wanted to die." She screamed at him, trembling with anger. Or was it weakness? She wanted to climb out of his arms. To find her knife again. But she was to weak. "I hate you." tears welled in her eyes and she sat there and cried.

"Yeah everybody does and dying isn't such a happy thing anyway.." he said and adjusted his grip on her.
He sighed and grimaced as his armed healed back, it always itches something terrible. She really needed to know..
Know what?
His feelings?
He had none.

Anya let the tears streak her face. She wouldn't look up at him as she cried in his arms. "That was my only way out." She whispered to herself. She wanted out of this life.
"Why did you save me? Why can't you let me die?" she fidgeted in his arms as her wrist healed.

"You think I did this because you? Idiot. I did this because I have no one. I go home and I am treated worse than I am here. I cant go with Zoe, because...well she's a were wolf defending the woods." Anya snapped at him. She sat on the ground in a crumpled mess. She was to week to move by herself. To do anything.
"It would have been better for me if you let me die. Or if you actually cared about my feelings." she wanted him to care. She needed him to. Zoe was great, but Anya didn't want to leave him. Why was that? This guy hurt her, manipulated her, used her and all of this caused her to hate him. At least that's what she forced her self to believe. In reality, she hated him because she loved him and he still did this to her.

"Well find someone, find a new place to live. If you stopped whining you'd find that you could actually find what you're looking for, instead of going ahead and killing yourself. Really, that is sad move. If I had another chance, a choice that I could've lived on rather than becoming a monster I would've taken it. You're lucky, you have no idea how lucky you are. But then again the grass is always greener on the other side no matter what because humans, or anything with emotions, we're just so damn fickle." he laughed.

Anya had nothing to say to him when he mentioned her attempted at her life. a couple minutes later she looked up at him again. "I found what I wanted." She couldnt believe she said that after the words left her mouth. "I wanted that guy I found in those pages of your journal. But I guess he isnt there any more." Her eyes were sad. "You yell at me for trying to kill myself, yet you did the same thing. You killed yourself when you let go of your emotions. When you stopped feeling, you stopped liven."

"actually I didn't kill myself, you might've missed that, I was kidnapped and tortured and left to die. But unlike Twilight, the idiotic movie, the person who turned me did it for fun. Fun to watch me struggle against the hunger then let me loose on towns and kill every single person there.... Massacres because I was starving and knew no better to handle the urges. I killed myself after that, figuratively, I killed everything left of my former self. Now here I am, dead." he explained bitterly.

"And it is people like you who killed me. People like you and my own father. My father beat and raped me because he could. Not because I did anything wrong, but because my mom left him. So he took his anger out on me. I come here, and get nearly the same treatment for speaking my mind and trying to take care of the other humans here." Anya snarled at him. "You put my life at risk without batting an eye. You tie me to trees and let creatures come after me. You threaten my friends with knifes and toss me to grounds. I hate that you do all this to me. But you know what I hate the most about you? You make me love you. I don't know how you manage it, but you do and I hate you for it." she got up from the ground shakily and walked over to him. She stumbled lightly, and had to put a hand on his chest to keep from falling. Her left hand was braced against him and her wrist was turned so she could see the cuts.

Brandon froze. That word...l..L.. He didn't remember how to say it properly.
Yet how did she use it against him?
How did it weaken him like paper against water?
"....w..what?" he stuttered.
His brain broke from surprise and fear and pain from memories telling him he should know better.
What did he know after all though?

Anya looked up at him. She used her right hand to move away one of his from his face. "I love you, Brendan. Even when you are a cold hearted monster who cares nothing of my feelings, I love you." She spoke softly and kindly. Was she getting to him?

"You think I know?" any laughed lightly. "Look, my mind and emotions are as messed up as it comes." she lender hand drop to her side.
"look, I also understand that you probably have no feelings what so ever about me." Anya kept her left hand on his chest to keep upright, but that's the only way she dared to touch him.

Anya flinched when he touched her. She expected him to hurt her for speaking out like she did.
"You...what?" she asked amazed. She pulled her hand away from him and kept her cut wrist close to her. "Is that why you saved me?" she asked him. She was so confused, he never let himself show emotions or feelings around her. She tried to take a step back but ended up falling down from dizziness.

Anya curled in his arms and let her eyes close. "I...i was stupid, wasn't I?" she let her eyes open and looked down at her wrist. The cuts seemed to stare back at her. Just more scars to add to her frail body.
