Anya growled at him and tackled him, bringing them both sprawling to the ground. "I hate you." He was all she really had and she hated him. Tears filled her eyes and she saw that this was pointless. Even if she won this fight it wouldnt matter. A tear rolled down her cheek and she curled on his chest giving up before the fight even really took place.

Brandon blinked and sat up, carefully cradling her crying body. "Well that was easier than I thought.." he mumbled to himself. He timidly brought his hand to her hair and stroked it slowly, his hand shaking slightly. He forgot how to be.. Gentle.
"Feel better?" he asked

June carefully slid a book from the shelf then brightened with a huge smile. "This is it! 'Blood oaths: the art or slavery' a strange title but it's what we need!"

Senri watched the scene unnoticed for a bit and smiled. The girl would be good for him. He turned the other way and walked off.

"Aha!" Sirene smiled holding up a book entitled The Ways of Vampires

June grinned. "Let's go and read!"
As she stumbled out she found herself umping into a guy and after one glance she knew he was a vampire. "Damn." she muttered.

"No." Anya moaned out, unable to stop herself from crying. She felt weird, showing her emotions.

Brandon frowned, "Why?" he questioned simply. He stroked her hair stiffly unused to the motion and the act itself; comfort, something he abandoned long ago.

June wobbled back and weakly curtsied only to end up sprawled on the floor. her book was out of her reach and at the vampires feet. Her muscles quivered as she tried to pulled herself up.

"Because I'm trapped in hell that i cant escape." She whimpered softly. It felt weird for him to be stroking her hair and trying to comfort her.

Senri looked at it and stooped down, picking it up. "What's this?"

Sirene's eyes got big as she raced over and bowed. "Nothing, Master Senri. We were just wanting to learn abit."

Brandon almost grinned, he knew that feeling. "Don't worry, it only gets worse unless you embrace it." he whispered into her ear. He felt strange in this position as the comforter rather than the killer.

June fell back down and scrabbled against the slippery wood floor to get back up."Nothing important.." June mumbled.

"I dont want to get used to it. I dont want to be here." Anya shifted so she was comfier on his chest. It might have been weird taht they were just laying on the ground, but she was to shaken to move and she didnt know if he was going to move or not.

June shook her head frantically. "No!"

Brandon almost smiled as he felt her warmth slowly sink into his cold skin. Then he shook his head and turned off his emotions.

Anya sighed as his voice went emotionless again. She knew it was to good to last. She slowly pulled herself off of him and sat on the ground on her knees. She looked at the ground, ands trembling in her lap.

Brandon stood and brushed his clothes off. "Go clean yourself off and collect your thoughts, we can't have any more outbursts." he waved her off and immediately walked towards his office and barricaded himself inside. How did he get so soft? He even stroked her hair. He comforted her! He was growing weak minded!

Anya slowly stood, tears streaking her face. What was she thinking? He would never care how she felt. She should just keep up use barriers and stick to her own self. She locked herself in the bathroom and washed her face, removing the stains from her tears.

Brandon unlocked his chest, his family chest to be precise. Inside it, he kept all of his worldly possessions, including diaries from when he kept his feelings on. He guarded this case like his life because in all truths it was his life. All the deaths and betrayals were hidden inside, as well as his feelings.
He closed it and left the room to his study. After a few moments of going over a few ancient texts he ringed the bell for service, Tanys had to be cleaned up by now, hadn't she?

Anya heard he bloody bell again and sighed. She pushed herself out of her bathroom and went to find Brandon again. "Yes?" she asked him, arms folded infront of her chest.

Brandon pulled his reading glasses down to look at her. "Please fetch me the scrolls ontop of my desk in my study, here are the keys." he handed them to her then looked her in the eyes, "Do not touch anything else in there. Or you shall find out what 'Or else' can be."

Anya nodded and grabbed the keys from him. Don't touch anything? As if. She wandered into the room and closed the door behind her. She looked around and saw the chest. It intrigued her instantly and she walked over to it. She slid it open and looked in. Diaries and over treasures filled it. She picked up the first diary she saw and started to read. Brandon actually had feelings? He cared at one point. She got lost in his writings, escaping from this hell whole for once in her life.

Brandon checked his watch and let his brow furrow, she was taking too long. It wasn't that hard to find his study, let alone find the desk. He rung the bell loudly, if she was looking at his things he would probably have to kill her. He rung the bell once again for good measure and hoped she'd come running.

Anya heard the bell, but it didn't seem important as she read. The diary was so well written and told such an amazing story that she couldn't leave it.

Brandon rung the bell agitatedly, she could just be lost. He tried to calm himself but the thought of her touching his things was slowly activating his darker self. His deep, meditation breaths were useless against his feral instinct.

June nodded. "She's in danger.."
