Rory glared at him, "King of the gods or not this isn't Amaria's quest. It's Griffin's so he should lead it. Amaria knows that. It's why he made the comment. I can guarantee that when he was fighting Lupa she tried tontell him what to do. She also told him how she would do it perfectly. She was being rude, some times you have to pop the ego of Big Three kids." rory flew on ahead, she was clearly pussed.

Being on pegasi they traveled fast. The horse guided Griffin to a house. A house he knew so well. It was his own.

Lacy ran upstairs, but Foster was fast. His shadow travel helped. It made him feel sick but what was inside him canceled out all feelings he had about it.

Atlantia rode near corrie so she wasn't to far away from some people. The trip didn't take a long time seeing as she could see griffen sit up more as they flew over a house. It must have either been or is very important.

Woody rode near the middle staying out of the argument but listening to it. It hurt a bit when they said that he and all the kids of the big three had an ego. It wasn't true about all of them, most of them.

Dillilla couldnt hear all of what was happening she was looking at the ground smiling. She loved this, the flying, she hated the argument she could hear bits and pieces of when they shouted.

Rory landed, and slid off the pegasus who then took off. Griffin's horse had lost it's wings, and looked like a horse again. And it stayed where it was.
Griffin was just standing their a worried look on his face, he heard the others come up, "Something's not right?"
Corrie, practically jumped off her horse, "What do you mean, where are we?"
"My house. But something seems off."
A dog barked in the distance, it was Macy one of their two golden retrievers. Griffin could tell Macy's bark from Marley's bark very easily.

Foster had succeeded in grabbed Griffin's mom, a knife now to back he made her sit down, as they waited for Griffin, and the rest of them.

Griffin went up to the path, and the rest followed. The door was unlocked which seemed odd. As he walked in, and saw his dad, and the blood, he almost collapsed. Normally he was okay around dead people, probably because Hermes took them to what was now a recording studio. But this, this was different, this was his dad.

Rory had seen pictures of his dad, "Oh my gods." She said a hand over her mouth. Griffin. I'm so sorry." Her voice was quiet.

Griffin didn't say a word but kept on going. When he got into another room, his voice was shaky, something that it never was, "Mom?" he called out.

Corrie bent down to look at the casualty, "Broken neck, someone snapped it." She stated simply.

Rory looked around the gears turning in her head, "Who would have done this, only one other person knew his dad, had seen his dad," she paused, "Oh gods."
She ran after Griffin, only to find him crying with no answer from his mom. She didn't say anything.
"Griffin," she said softly, "I think Foster..."
Griffin stared at her, he knew it was Foster but he didn't want to believe it, "No!" He yelled, "Don't say it. Don't say it Rory, don't even think it damnit!"

Rory nodded.
Griffin had gotten over the crying and was now full of rage. He stormed down a hallway into his parents room, their he saw Foster with his dagger against his mom's throat.
Though something was different about him, he didn't look right. What Griffin noticed immediately were his eyes, they weren't blue.
"Nice of you to join us," he smirked.
"Let her go Foster!" Griffin yelled.
Rory ran in and stopped at the doorway, Corrie following behind her.
"Ah, you see i can't do that." Foster, or whatever was possessing Foster said.
His mom spoke, she looked at him like she looked at her brother, of course her son and her brother looked exactly alike, "Griffin, it's okay."
"No, mom, it's not. I'm not gonna let him kill you. Not with that blade not with anything." Griffin said, his eyes not moving from the dagger in his friend's hand.
His mom knew of the blade, once her brother died she had been in contact with him courtesy of their father.

Foster pressed the blade up against his mom's neck. "Foster if you hurt her, I swear, I will kill you."
Foster smirked, "I'd like to see you try." The tip of the blade pressed into Griffin's mom's neck, she didn't panic. But a trickle of blood began to come down.
Griffin clenched his fists, and thought quickly, and panicky. He didn't want to bring up the scar but he knew he would have to it would make Foster stop.
He dropped his backpack, Foster just laughed.
"Foster, I don't know why you're doing this." He took his jacket off, "But you don't need to."
His hands were at the bottom of his shirt.
"You see Griffin, that's where you're wrong. I have my orders. I know exactly what I need to to do. And you know what I'll be rewarded."
"Being rewarded for killing people is not something you want." Griffin stated.
Foster began to draw a line into Griffin's mom's neck. His mom was now showing pain.
Griffin took his shirt off and turned around. Foster stopped what he was doing when he caught site of the scar. "Do you remember what this means?"

Foster shook his head, "You promised we would never tell."
"But I didn't break the promise, the reason behind the scars, Foster."
Foster's eyes turned blue, they looked normal for only a second, "I..." he stuttered.
"We promised to never hurt family again. And we wanted to remember what we did, we wanted to always remember that we ruined that family. And we would never do it again."
Foster almost dropped the blade in his hand.
"You were dead set on it. You were the biggest advocate of it. So much so, that you gave me and Erik the scars, then asked both of us to give you yours. You never wanted to hurt any family again, you Foster."
Griffin was so mad now that the sink in the kitchen broke, and was spewing water.
"Look what you're doing now Foster, you're breaking that promise."
Foster looked weak, "I can't help it." And with that he disappeared.
Griffin ran to his mom, "Mom!" And hugged her.

(you can decided what the quest was that dealt with family... be like now it all made sense or whatever)

Aiden's eye's widened in shock. "What?" His voice was ragged. "You guys did that to them?!" he asked before shock was replaced with anger. "They were good people!!"

Amaria winced and leaned against the tree. Gods, it was hot.

Aiden stared at Griffin. David walked up and touched Aiden's shoulder, but he just shrugged the hand off and walked away to blow off some steam. David watched him go. "Give him time to cool down. He'll come around."

Griffin hugged his mom, who was the female version of Luke, just longer hair.
Griffin put his shirt back on, "Sorry guys."
"Where did Foster go?" Corrie asked.
Rory shrugged, she looked at David.

David looked back. "Fosters an unpredictible guy." (Gyahh I only have one character present now. T.T) He leaned on the wall. "I think that he came around and realized what he'd done and couldn't stay here. I might be wrong but, hey, that's my guess."

Griffin nodded, "I hope you're right."

Foster had reappeared in a field somewhere, where a beast from the depths attacked him for not doing as he was told. He failed. He would have to go at it with another approach.

David nodded and smiled before standing up and walking over to Griffin's mom. "May I help you pick up the mess and come up with a story for the police. I saw the neighbors dialing 911 as we arrived."

Amaria walked through the trees, hearing a ruckus. She frowned, hissing as the light change from the dimly-lit forest to the harshly-lit clearing. Once her eyes adjusted, she gaped. "Foster..." Her voice was soft and almost cracking.

Griffin watched his mom go into the kitchen, "She spot Hermes kids from miles away. I swear she would have been amazing if she went to camp."

Foster jumped up his eyes gold, "Ah, Amaria, how've you been?" he asked.

Amaria tensed when she saw his eyes. "Um...fine." she said, putting her guard up.

Griffin smiled, "Probably why Poseidon liked her." He frowned, he still wasn't to happy with his biologiical dad, even though things had been patched up between them.

"You know, I've missed you. My job is so lonely, without a girl, a smart girl like yourself at my side." he said walking up to her.

Amaria looked at him, internally torn. She loved him, but it was wrong to betray her friend. In the dark part of her mind, she was reminded that they were the reason she was out here. "What are you implying?" she asked softly. "Oh and duck." she said, reminding him he was kinda in the middle of fighting when she showed up.

He snapped his fingers and the beast froze, "Power, is what I'm implying and lots of it. Don't you want some more power more than your father can give you." he smiled.

Griffin frowned on the comment was that a shot at him. He decided it wasn't. He went with Rory and Corrie to burry his step dad.
