Griffin nodded, "Tell us which way." he said.
Foster stayed back as the group went forward. He decided the rear of the pack was the best place for him.
Rory had a hunch Griffin was hiding something, she couldn't figure out what. But she guessed he knew something.

David nodded. "I think it's highway 32 to Kansas. Then after that, you tak i59."

Griffin nodded, he was sad they wouldn't be passing though Montanna, but that was probably a good thing. He stood still, and began to walk in the direction of the highway.
"We don't have a car." Corrie said, "And I don't plan on stealing one."
Rory nodded, "She's right, a bunch of kids walking down a highway will be odd."
Foster pondered, he could cloak them all. But creating a car was out of the question. He's be more tired than he was after healing Griffin.
He flicked his sunglasses down, then remembered and said outloud, "My sunglasses."

(I knew there transporting ability would come in hand)

"It's Uh," he wasn't gonna say how he got them, or where, "They were a gift, but they can transport people from one place to another."
"And how is this?" Rory asked.
"Yeah, I thought they were just sun glasses." Corrie said.
Foster sighed, "They're from a god." Which god he wasn't going to say.
Griffin looked at Amaria, "What do you know about this?" he asked his tone just slightly accusing.

Amaria narrowed her eyes at him and met him calmly with her hands on her ip. "First of all, don't use that tone with me. I'm not a criminal. I haven't done anything against you." she snapped. "And second of all, what I know about them is that, when I found him in Tartarus, they saved our necks."

Griffin glared at her. He was just as powerful as she. He could care less who her dad was. But the moment passed, he couldn't let his temper get the best of him, "And when were you in Hades, Foster?" he asked.
"Some confrontation needed to be made about this stupid dagger. And Hades offered the glasses to me for a price. I didn't like the price, and almost died, if it weren't for the person whom I was visiting down there and Amaria I wouldn't be here."
Rory looked at him, "You were visiting Luke and he stole the glasses."
"Times were desperate and they were made for me." Foster told her.
"What else haven't you told us Foster?" Corrie asked.
"The reason I was really down there." Foster said, "When Luke's ghost gave me the blade he gave me a warning one my dad told me when I was younger. I cant go against what the god of prophecy says. And what Luke said fortified it, and it bothered me. I went to prove him wrong, and in doing so, I only proved him right."
Griffin looked at him, "What was the warning?"
"Doesn't matter now." Foster said, he wanted to be off this subject, and now. "So do we want to get there or not?" he asked.

"Take hold of my arm," he said flicking the sunglasses ove his eyes.
Rolling her eyes Rory grabbed hold. Corrie followed in pursuit. His arm was easily big enough for the lot of them to hold on to.

Griffin was last to grab his friends arm, he whispered in his ear, "You're gonna tell me the truth some time."
Foster ignored him, touched his glasses, he thought solely on the broken down house in the park.
He stopped touching his glasses and there they were. At the spot where he was offered to Lupa. "Where in California." he said, "Not far from San Fransisco." he paused, "A bit off from LA though."
He looked at Griffin.
Griffin then spoke, "We gotta go to the ocean I guess."
Rory looked at Foster, "What about the other camp?"
"They'll know we're here. Chiron probably talked to Lupa about it. If we stay away from them they shouldn't harm us." Foster informed.
"And what about you, I thought your mission was to make peice." Corrie said.
"Corrie, no one ever sides with peice at first."
Corrie nodded knowing the statement was true.
"I won't be visiting there, not yet anyways." he paused, "Bur I will have to stop by, yearly visit."
"We're on a quest." Rory told him.
"In California, no coincidence Rory." Foster said endingthe subject.
Griffin sighed Foster was being difficult. He could smell the ocean, bit it was a ways off still.

Griffin closed his eyes, she still seemed mad at him, and he was about to punch her but they needed to get to the ocean. "East," he said pointing in the direction they needed to go. And off he went in the direction followed closely by (gifted's Poseidon charries).
Rory walked up to her, "Both of you need to apologize. You two fighting isn't good." She kept walking not waiting to here Amaria's response.
Corrie rolled her eyes at Rory, she knew that Rory couldn't fix anything.
Foster watched this all, they were already breaking down and they hadn't even gotten on to the first part of the quest yet. He hated California for so many reasons, for Greek Demi-gods it ripped them apart.
The faster they got out of here the better, but then he remembered bathing in the River Styx, that had to be done here to. He wanted to hit something. He shouldn't have agreed to come. But he did.

Amaria turned ten shades of red. Apologize?! He was the one acting like she'd done something wrong! She hadn't done anything to him. Why she have to apologize. Even as the thoughts entered her mind, she knew she'd be apologizing at some point.

Foster looked at Amaria, "You okay, being that red really isn't good for you." he said. It was sunnier in California than it was in new York so he preferred to keep his sunglasses down. That and people here had a chance of knowing him.

Griffin lead them at a swift pace, he wanted to get this done with. He was less than thrilled to be having a conversation with his dad. It wasn't to long before they hit the city of San Fransisco.

Foster got uneasy as the entered the city. He hated this place more than anything even is his home and the Roman Camp Halfblood were near here.

"I just don't like San Fransisco. Despite the Roman Camp Half Blood being here. I just don't like it." This was the place his parents chose. Monster infested, and perfect for them. He hated his dads, for many reasons. Only one was technically more his real dad. He had married his mom shortly after his mom got pregnant with him. Then after his mom died while giving birth he got with another man and they raised Foster till he was ready to be given to Lupa. His childhood here wasn't the greatest either. He was seen as weak, for being a son of Apollo especially. Proving himself was hard but he did it. And now he was respected. But this was all in hindsight.
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine."

Griffin looked at the Golden Gate Bridge, and headed in that direction.

Even though Rory didn't want to be an architect she couldn't help but admire the beauty of the bridge, "Look at it, such an amazing site." She thought about the calculations used to make, and other things, but it wasn't her true calling. One could easily see.

Corrie had been rather quiet the whole trip. One of the lines of the prophecy was bothering her. She looked up at the sky, "I'm doing this for you dad. You heard that ending. If it doesn't make you proud, then you're crap." she said under her breath.

Her taking his hand surprised him, especially after last night. He gave her a smile, "Thanks."

Rory looked at him, "You don't have to humor me." She laughed, "Besides I'd much rather be a detective."

Foster looked ahead, at the Golden Gate Bridge coming closer. They passed a street, well the turned on it. Foster got even more uptight. He wanted to leave, but this was the fastest way to the ocean. But that didn't mean Foster didn't want to leave, he knew this street, and wanted off it.

Rory blushed, from embarrassment, "Sorry, didn't know."

Griffin continued forward.

Corrie watched Foster tense up again, but didn't say a word.

Rory nodded, talking about what she loved, she was an expert at that.

Foster looked at the appartments. He saw the one, the one where his parents lived. And he saw a movement in the window, "Hey guys, lets go faster. The sooner we get their the better." he said nervously.

Griffin stopped and turned around, "What's the rush."

Foster eyed his old house nervously, "Nothing," he lied.

"Okay, faster it is," he said picking up his pace.

Foster looked over to his old house, the door opened, and he saw them. He prayed they wouldn't noticed. He prayed so hard. Griffin was already at the end of the street, he would have been too if he hadn't looked.

Corrie looked at him, "Who are they?"

Foster gulped, "My parents."
