They got to the lake. Foster asked Apollo for guidance and strength. He sat on the docks. He just hoped it would all work. Rory told Griffin what to do.
Then Rory pushed him, hard and when he wasnt expecting it. He knew the feeling. He fell into the water, he felt as though it cushioned him.
The water encircled him and he hit his head.
He was thrust onto the dock something that hadn't happened before. Foster knew he was doing it right. He flipped his glasses on his head. He slapped Grifdin across the face, then did some medical magic.
After a while Griffin woke. His first words, "I wasn't mad at you, Fost, you were right, and still are."
Foster gave his full blinding smile and hugged his friend. It was a may hug.
Rory secreted her gaze and walked away. She couldn't help but feel bad.
"So you remember everything?" Foster asked.
"Everything, but don't call me Grissim. It's Griffin." He smirked, "I wanna spar with you."
Foster frowned, "I don't do that anymore."
"Oh come on. Your scared I'll beat you. You're good, and you don't have to go easy on me."
"Some other time Griff. We gotta rest, we are visiting the oracle tomorrow." he said. The oracle for him was very comfortable concept of course when he looked exactly like Apollo and was more than likely the factored son of Apollo it was easy.

Griffin had a new look to him. He definitely had changed. He had a battle hardened look to him. He didn't look like a lost sheep but a confident lion.

David slipped out into the night with his siblings.

Aiden arrived at his cabin to see a small vial and it said, 'get the girl to drink this' and nothing else.

Griffin and Foster went to there respective cabins paring like he had always been there.

As soon as Foster went to sleep he was plagued with dreams. How he had to at any cost go on that quest and get himself and Griffin in the River Styx. Well with his vision that was going to haplen he just didn't know when.

Griffin slept more peacefully than he had in a long time. He had full dreams not horrible fragments from a broken memory.

Corriesat on the Ares porch as all of her siblings slept.

Rory stayed up researching the plan. Figuring how to make everything work to a t.

Amaria sighed, curling up in a ball, sleeping peacfully, her headphones plugged in to lull her to sleep. (She listens to heavy metal to sleep XP)

Griffin woke the next morning and packed a bag. He went and had an early breakfast. Foster soon joined him not at the same table of course.

Amaria woke up and put up her ipod, getting dressed and going to eat (What if, now that it's been spelled out, she sometimes, openly flirts with him and other times, will ike lean on him and stuff playing dumb?)
David arrived last, dark circles under his eyes. Aaria sighed and siad,"Coffee's in the kitchen." He smiled and went to get some.

Griffin had put a few bottles of water in his bag. He thought about what composed him. He inherited all of the traits of Hermes, from whoever in his family was the demigod. And he had all Poseidon's powers, he was dangerous and in danger. A queasy feeling sunk to the bottom of his stomach.

Foster saw Amaria he wasn't to happy about her and Aiden. But he hadn't lost hope. Plus two of the three amigos were back things had to get better.

David poured a massive cup of coffee and sat down at his table, taking a massive drink.

Foster nodded at her but that was it. For such a tough guy when it came to love he was hurt easily.

Griffin was sitting on the top of his table thinking just thinking. He'd been claimed twice. That never happened, not even to Jason. He guessed that could be one of the reasons the gods are a bit mad.

Once breakfast was done, Amaria waited outside for the others, her bag on her shoulder. She decided to ask Foster about the lightning when he got out there.

David finished eating and went out to join Amaria and talk.

Amaria turned when a girl from her class came up and said something to her, she replied with a smile and some encouraging words and the girl gave her a small vial of liquid, claiming it was something to help her stay strong on the trip.

Foster walked up to Amaria. As he did he grabbed David by the shoulder, "So..." he was going to say one thing but his ADHD made him say something else, "What's that?" he asked.
He adjusted the strap o his backpack with one arm, it was a specially made northface that went over one shoulder. Because it was an enchanted bow and quiver. Everyone wondered where his things went when it turned to a bow and quiver and Foster would never say.

Griffin hopped off the table. He checked his pocket. Riptide was there. He pulled his bag on his shoulders and headed out.

Amaria shrugged. "She said it was to help kep strong on the trip. But I think it's best not used, as it's unidentified." she said, putting it in har back, as the girl was still watching. "Hey, Foster, what do you know about people atracting lightning?"

Foster thought for a moment, "If the conditions are right and there wearing metal then it's quite possible. But if Zeus or a kid of his was involved well then things change." he said. He thought for a moment, "When we stop first I want to look overthat vial." if it was supposed to make people stronger, then it was medicine. And that was probably not in the emergency medical kits. And only Apollo kids we'd supposed to use medicine. It madehim suspicious.

Griffin came up, "We ready?"

Griffin beganwalking in the direction of the cave. How he remembered well he remembered everything. He knew he had been here once before. Foster had chosen him and Erik to come with him when he got his quest. Now Griffin was getting a quest that was completely insane but it was his.

Foster new this was the beginning. The beginning of his task. He was scared and he knew the consequences if he failed.

Amaria and David matched their pace, both hiding excitement and fear at this new occurence. David that he got picked to go and Amaria was just glad to leave camp.

Foster had completely forgotten that what Griffin thought was a normal pace was inhuman to those not related to Hermes. It was hard to keep up with Griffin after he had gotten in his rythym.

Griffin walked along, "If I need to slow down just say." he said. He had run three days straight to get to camp a few days ago. Sure he did pass out afterwards but during he felt fine.

Foster slowed down and let David and Griffin go ahead. Griffin could lead David there, because both he and Amria knew the way.
"Griffin makes so much more sense now." he commented talking about the combination of before when he was Grissim and now.

Griffin turned to David,"Hermes eh." he smiled. "We're rated somehow you know." he was talkin like it was the coolest thing in the world. He had definitely not forgotten how helpful David was when he arrived a few days ago.

"Well, I mean, until now he's always thought htat the gods were hiding something from him. Now he knows what they were hiding and why." She shrugged.

David grinned. "Yeah, " He was smiling like an idiot. He'd thought that when his mom died, he'd never have any family again. Now, he had someone to be related to. Okay, so they were all related but it didn't count the others were only like distant cousins. And the Hermes kids were alright but he and Griffin really se3emed to get each other.

"Well almost everything. I have a hunch we'll be visiting Poseidon before this whole thing is over." Foster said. I mean he doesn't know whatever warning Poseidon was given." he thought, "But Chiron always saysitsbest not to know everything about your future." he silently cursed having a gift in that area if he really was like Luke, he had a huge disadvantage he knew parts of his future Luke didn't.

Griffin looked at David, "Your probably closer to a brother than my actual siblings." He said. "I mean I know I've always been scared shitless of Woody and never really cared for Atlantia she knows exactly what buttons of mine to press. It nice knowing I have someone who well.. You know..." he was talking like he was half experienced and half new.

"I would definitely agree withthat. But I do think it needed to be kept from him, just maybe not so long." Then it hit Foster like a ton of bricks. They already knew about Griffin, the thing that gave them all the scar. They already knew they tried to kill him before he knew himself. He kelt this to himself though. But he did have a look of realization on his face.

Griffin gave a smirk, "You've got his eyes and body shape." Griffin said, "Hermes, I mean." he would know since he could have been the Hermes clone, or action figure.
Griffin wondered how rare it was for demigods to look like gods parent or not. Like Foster looked exactly like Apollo, even with the same blinding white teeth.

Amaria looked at him. "What?" She said in that totally Amaria curious tone.

David shrugged. "I guess so. I'm kinda lucky, huh? Meeting my dad, I mean. I heard that some kids will leave camp and live a human life until they die and never meet their god parent." He said.
