Amaria nodded at Luke's piece of advice. He was right about that though. "You know, griffin, that's actually a good idea- I mean, I've heard bathing in the river styx is painful but if hades is looking to make you a citizen of tartarus, then that's just about the only thing that will save your life."

David's eyes were huge. "Oh my god, are you nuts too?!"

"I would have to agree with David. Amaria you're insane. Both of you." he looked at Luke.
"Griffin if it helps I've been in the river. When a god wants to use you or kill you it's best to just get in." Luke reasoned.
"And look where it got you." Griffin remarked.
"I'm with Griffin." a figure, Achilles said popping up.

Amaria unconsciously leapt to Luke's aid. "Well, think about it. He felt like his dad didn't care about him. He was angy because of it. Not all of us have a dad who gives a damn, Griffin!" she snapped. "I know how luke felt about being abandoned by his dad so don't go there ok!?"

Griffin turned red, "A dad not wanting you!" Luke looked worried, he knew this look, he knew it way to well. "Well listen close Amaria! My dad didn't want to claim me at first! I wasn't wanted! Don't talk about dad's not wanting you! At least you didn't have to be claimed twice, because your daddy made a mistake! And being abandoned, you think I don't know! I'm his nephew my mom went through the same thing he did! You act as if like I have it all perfect! Well news flash I don't! You think you're life is fucked up, when you don't even know half of mine!"
Achilles came to the aide, "You are on a quest, and fighting on a quest in the underworld is not advisable. While I know you shouldn't bathe in the River, seeing as it's my job to stop you. I didn't stop Percy and I didn't stop Luke, and well you got the best of their personalities Griffin. So you might as well take the plunge."
Luke looked at Achilles, "So you tell him to go in, but with me you practically pulled me out."
Achilles shrugged, "You had a different destiny."

Amaria was red-face by now. "You know what, you try habving the one person in your life that is supposed to support and love you no matter what tell you you were a mistake! Try having your mother kick you out, and then have to fine your way all alone, hoping someone will give a damn and care but they don't!Try telling yourself every day that maybe it'll get better. Try spending a year not knowing who you are. And you know what? I know your life is fucked up. And I'm trying to help and you just shove back down my throat so quit being such a damn jackass and listen to the people who give a fuck!!!"

David just quit following the conversation and justsighed. "Friendship...isn't it great?

Griffin was going completely off the end, he reached for his sword. And that's when Luke intervined. "Both of you need to shut up and stop. Amaria, listen when I say you are loved. If anyone can say that I can. You got that sword for a reason. But being angry about what's happened to you, will do you in. I can promise that on everything I have ever had. Take a look at Annabeth, she went through what you went through, in almost the same way. But instead of being irrational she thought it through. Sure she was a daughter of Athena, its what they do, but anyone who goes through what you have gone through needs to keep a level head. That sword is powerful, and when used correctly it is the best thing ever. You have it for a reason, what you've gone through is done so for a reason. Being mad at the god's wont settle anything, believe me. I know what being mad at the gods does. It's not pretty," he paused and glanced at Foster across the river. He turned to Griffin, "So your dad messed up, and your grand dad, and your mom, and your step-dad. And your best friend, and your uncle. But like I said to Amaria you have got to let it go. Percy was in a similar situation. And he was not happy. He yelled at his dad, hell he sent Medusa's head to Olympus. Talk about anger, and a great since of humor." He chuckled, "But he had to learn to forgive. Think about what that sword has done. Think about who owned it, and what it means. Forgiveness man, when Percy was in the garden of Hesperides, " he shuddered saying his scar becoming more noticable, "That sword's past had to be forgiven. Even I had to forgive my dad, and everyone else, because if anyone fucked up, it was me." He then spoke to both of them, "Placing blame on others is prideful, which kids of the big three face. But it's also cowardly, take a look at my life if you want to for that example. When you place blame on others it's because you yourself don't want admit that you're being stubborn and not accepting of the hand that has been dealt to you. I know both of you will go very far, and be friends. But to do that you have to accept each other for who they are, and try not to fight." He looked around and was given silence.
"How are you so wise?" Rory asked.
"One of my best friends was a daughter of Athena," he paused it was obvious he still loved Annabeth, "And I'm dead you learn alot when you're dead."
"Makes sense," Corrie said.
Griffin looked ashamed, but apologizing was not on his mind right now.
Luke took this as a cue, "Now when you go in, you have to think of one thing that will keep you grounded, and think of the spot where you want your Achilles heal to be," he gave a wink to Rory, who got the message. She stepped forward and shoved Griffin in.

Amaria gaped when she saw Rory push Griffin in. "He's gotta get sick of that..." she sighed. (Lol, third time.)

(i know right, oh and I am quite proud of Luke's speech)
Luke laughed, "Well he wasn't going in on his own accord, so he needed some realization, and who better to give it than Rory." Not to mention Athena girls to the Castellen boys knew how to metaphorically punch them in the face, or gut whichever was more convenient.
Griffin want to punch Rory, but the river grabbed him and pulled him down with the negative thought. He thought about something to keep him grounded, what he thought about was hard for him to come up with, but he finally thought about friendship, he saw his friends, who better to keep him grounded than the ones that would always be their. He then noticed he was being sucked away by the current, the filthy water covering him completely, not to mention he couldn't breath in this stuff. He zeroed in on a small dime sized point behind his right ear. Why that? Simple, you can cut off an ear but it's hard to get a spot behind it, not to mention it was behind the ear who in a fight goes for that spot. No one he knew. As he did that he felt clean in that one spot, and it pulled him to shore. After a few minutes he was tossed on shore, coughing up water, and completely wet.
He glared at Rory, "One more push into water, and I'm taking you with me."
Rory only laughed.
Luke laughed as well, humor transferred well in his family.

"Fine." He said, "I feel like crap, but fine, and wet." That was a sensation he wasn't used to. He looked to Luke for advice.
"Wait for you're clothes to dry." Were his only words on that, "Now, you're ready to face Hades. Are you excited."
"I'm supposed to be?" Griffin asked.
"No, but it was worth a shot." Luke said.

Foster saw the glimpse of Griffin going in the river and going out. He also knew Luke had been subconsciously talking to him. He turned away. He knew he had to go in, a person greater than Kronos was effecting him, tell him to do so. But at the same time he knew what Luke meant. But Luke was a Greek demi-god, they were comparatively weak next to Roman demi-gods. Foster knew he would get in, you can't change the future, but he didn't want to do it, while they were across the way.

David grinned. "Well, if you're fighting Hades, we'll back you up." he said.

Amaria nodded in agreement. "Sorry about being a pissy bitch earlier." She hated apologizing but she knew she owed him an apology.

Griffin smiled at David. He looked at Amaria, now was time for the apology. "I'm sorry too. But being a bastard seems to be in my DNA."
Luke took offense to that by giving off a look. But he then laughed, he couldn't deny the truth.
"So let's kick some Dark Lord butt." Corrie smiled.

Foster watched, he couldn't help but think about how much he knew and how he wasn't telling them. Griffin might have bathed in Styx, but it doesn't change the fact that he was betrayed by his best friend.

Amaria nodded. "What are we waiting for? And invitation?" she nodded, wturning toward Hades' palace.

Aiden had sat in silence until then when he laughed. "Feeling guilty buddy boy?"

"Why would I feel guilty?" Foster asked, clearly offended. Being with Aiden was no walk in the park.

Luke looked at them, "Well it does help."
A figure walked up, followed by another. One in all black the other in a purple t-shirt and jeans. They stopped just infront of the group, "Hey Luke." the figure in black punk clothes said.
"Guys, this is Nico, he is still alive."
Nico smiled, "I prefer it down here, and the guy in the purple is Archer."
Archer and Nico looked similar, except Archer was huge in comparison to Nico.
Archer smirked at the sight of Griffin, "Foster is a good guy." he said quietly. "I was traveling with him all those years ago. I died on the journey."

Archer sighed, "Is that another thing Foster didn't mention. If I were alive their would be two of us Roman's among your group." He looked at Griffin, "Good thing you got in that River, dad wanted to kill you. Especially since Foster stole his gift. But now the circumstances are a little different."
"What are you talking about." He hadn't yet gotten Foster had betrayed him. But Rory did.
"I said if you got in the River sticks I would protect you from my dad. Because Foster was told to get you down here so my dad could kill you in exchange for the glasses. I intervened saying if you got in Styx I would protect you."
Griffin was in shock, "But he didn't want to bring me down did he?"
"No," Archer said, "But look where you are. You're friend betrayed you, and you didn't even know it. But I can guarantee he did."

"I feel guilty of nothing." He said, an anger boiling inside. It was inching him closer to the river.

"I'm not mad." Foster said. Aiden was that kid who knew how to push buttons.

Griffin turned red again, he was going to prove Foster wrong. He didn't need his betrayal or friendship to be a factor in this. "Let's go."
Archer smiled, Nico just looked on, he gazed at Luke. "Grffin," Nico said, "try not to be to irrational."
Rory looked around and said quietly, in a silent realization, "The sun will betray with wisdom."

Amaria's eyes got big "holy-" A hand cover her mouth and she followed it up to look at David.

Archer and Nico led them to the palace. Look rounded the end of the group. Griffin had never been more pissed. But he cracked a smile at David.
Rory whispered to him, "Thank you."

Foster glared at him, "Okay since you enjoy being all smug, what do you have against me. Besides the fact that you're scared I'll squish you like a little bug. What do you know that you aren't telling?"

Aiden shrugged. "I just can't stand you. I'm only doing this because those guys are my family over there. I hate your guts."

"No rhyme or reason, you just hate me." Foster looked around, "Just great."
He then began to wonder if he could be used, would the force that's guiding him find Aiden useful. As Foster pondered this he inched closer to the river, and he noticed the group heading to the palace.

Luke laughed, at the comment.
Griffin laughed as well, if one didn't know his relation to Luke they would have sworn Griffin and him were twins.
Corrie got a mad look in her eye as the reached the Dark Lord's palace. She couldn't help but the feeling she shouldn't go inside, it would only anger alot of people.

Amaria tensed up, not sure what was inside but ready for anything.

David glared at Amaria wo just kept on walking, not even paying attention.

Aiden shrugged. "Eh, yeah. Mainly cause Nemesis hates you. But then again, she hates everyone."

Griffin got really scared when he stepped foot inside. But he tried not to let it show.
Luke looked at Corrie, "I'll stay out here with ya." How Luke knew she didn't want to go in was a mystery.

"I had to do it." Foster said, "Lupa and Chiron told me to." Of course someone else told him too as well, but he wasn't about to tell Aiden that.

Hades had been sitting in his thrown and looked up, "Well, well, well. You have finally come." He smirked.
"Why do you want to kill me?"
"You are possibly the most powerful demigod, you have caused us all frustration. it's like Poseidon was trying to make amends for Luke by having you."
Luke was taken back by that. And Griffin charged forward, but with a flick of the wrist, he was thrown to the side against a pillar.
