Griffin was now sitting backwards in the seat, "You say that, but everything about your demeanor says something else. Plus no offense you're a bad liar."

Rory hit heard head on the back of the seat. This was all going so badly. No one trusted anyone. She needed a plan, and for the first time in her life she didn't have one. She tried to think of what Foster would do at the Roman camp. But she didn't know. Foster was such a mystery the way he had been acting lately she was sure it was all connected.

Corrie looked Foster. He definitely acted different. The way he carried himself, and it all started around the time Griffin showed up. Despite what others were thinking, Corrie knew more about him than ever before. She watched as Foster pulled out his journal, it was now in Latin she knew this because she couldn't read it. He started to write. She wondered if whatever was in the book had the key to what was bothering him.

AMaria just looked at him stobbornly.

Griffin looked at her, "I know we're not the best of friends. But not talking about things really doesn't help." he said.

Amaria sighed and shrugged. "There' nothing to talk about, I feel betrayed. All of us do."

[Charlie]

Griffin sighed, "Well ignoring him won't help. Think about the more we alienate him the more likely he is to leave and never come back. I have a feeling he has not received much friendship or love in his life."

Foster looked out the window. LA drifted away as they traveled faster than a normal bus. He knew without a doubt whatever happened when they got there, he would be staying at the camp temporarily. He knew he was no longer needed on the quest.

Amaria shot him a look. "It might be easy for you to forgive him but I can't just let it go. I know that's what I sould do but I just can't."

Griffin looked at her, "I know it's hard. But what if you lost him. You would be in even more of a foul mood."

Foster studied his tattoo twelve lines like a barcode, three letters and an laurel wreath, the symbol for Appolo. He was nervous a group of nine Greek Demigods in the Roman camp. Not to mention he saw Griffin and himself int the fighting arena which looked like a mini collesium in Roman armor like gladiators.

Amaria paled at the thought of losing Foster.

Griffin gave her a sympathetic look and turned back around. He knew that they were traveling by the coast. He thought about mow much fast he could have gotten there in the water. But at the same time he didn't want to get there fast he had to fight Foster. He had to fight Foster Roman style and if Griffin knew anything about roman history from latin and History he knew, that meant gladiatorial combat and it made him sick to his stomach.

Amaria wondered what the roman camp was like.

The streets passed by and soon they were back in San Fransisco.
The bus stopped infront of a building that was under a cliff.
Foster got off and waited for the rest. He knew he should give them at least a warning.

David hurried off the bus.

AIden walked off lazily.

Amaria stood, grabbed her bag and walked slugishly off the bus.

Griffin, got off. Rory rushed after David, she was worried about him.
Corrie was last next to Foster.
Foster adjusted his backpack, "Um," he said he felt as though they didn't want to listen. "
Things are alot more intense here. You're halfbloods so you'll be let in, but people will be hostile to you. You're Greek. It's more warlike, and you will be tested, you have to prove you're worth."
He walked inside the building, and headed down a hallway. At the end of the hallway was a door with two guards. That was where they were heading.
Foster walked past with ease. Griffin walked past, and the guards began to mumble. Then they saw the rest of the group, and their eyes narrowed.

Amaria walked past witout worry, followed by aiden and then David.

Rory headed on, then Corrie. She stared the guards down, and they stopped giving her an evil look.
As they entered not a kid was without a sword, most were training.
A kid about the same size as Foster walked up, "So these the Greeks you hang with?" he asked.
Foster nodded, "They're tougher than they look Mark."
Mark as he was now known as was the toughest son of Aphrodite you could meet. Mark looked Griffin up and down, "Is this the one. The double claimed, relative of Luke?"
Foster nodded, "Mark, meet Griffin. Griffin, Mark."
Mark took Griffin's wrist, and held it for a second. Griffin grabbed his wrist. He remembered this was the roman greeting, to check for weapons on the arms.
"He's got a strong grip." Mark said, he then looked at the others, "Looks like your group has a daughter of Jupiter, a son of Mercury, him he's a son of Neptune and grandson of Mercury, you have a daughter of Minerva," he smiled looking at Corrie on of obvious affection for her, "A daughter of Mars, a son of Nemisis," he sounded surprised, "Two other Neptune kids, another Jupiter kid. That's quite a group."
Griffin was confused, he didn't know the Roman names for the gods. he assumed Neptune was Poseidon and Mercury was Hermes because those were applied to him. And he heard somewhere that Neptune was Poseidon.
Mark was very good looking, he wasn't as toned as Foster, but he was muscular, tan, and he had short brown hair, and bright blue eyes. He looked perfect in what he was wearing, even though it was just like Foster's. Both looked good but Mark looked a little better, though Foster would argue, cause Apollo always looked good.
"Oh, I'm a son of Venus, your Aphrodite."
Foster laughed, "The word mirror doesn't exist to him." The Venus kids at the Roman camp was more intense and no one slacked, the Venus kids worked harder than the others to show they were more than outward looks.

Amaria was mildly impressed. "Cool." she said with a sligt smirk.

[Charlie]

Mark looked at Foster, "And they're here because?"
Foster looked at Griffin, "He made a deal with Pluto."
Mark looked at him in disbelief, "You got some major balls kid. And what deal is this?"
"I am supposed to fight you're strongest fighter." Griffin answered, "And it had to be here."
Mark laughed, "Well good luck trying to beat Foster here. Why isn't the Mars girl fighting."
Foster looked at Corrie, "Mars is Ares."
"I wasn't their when the deal was made. Hades and I don't get along, after Percy Jackson he hates my dad." Corrie said.
"Fair enough. And why isn't the Jupiter girl fighting you?"
Foster didn't dare answer but he knew Amaria would want to murder him after what he did.
"How did you know about Griffin being double claimed?" Rory asked.
Mark turned to her, still wanting his answer about Amaria, "Because we make it our job to know those things. Plus Foster has been telling us about the kid who looks like Luke's twin since he started going to you're camp. He also mentioned a few others, you being one of them. Now why isn't the Jupiter girl fighting Foster?"
Rory blushed at his comment, as intimidating as he was he was hot. But she reminded herself he was supposed to be hot he had Aphrodite as his mom. And she had a boyfriend, David.

AMaria looked at Foster then back to the Venus kid. "I'm too fond of Foster to be willing to fight him. Besides, we trained together at camp some so he knows all of my attacks."

[Charlie]

Mark smiled, "Cute. Well when do you want this fight to happen?"
"Sooner the better." Foster said.
"Good." he looked at Griffin, "You know this wont be a little training fight. If I'm hering Pluto correctly, he wants a gladiatorial fight."
"I guessed that." Griffin said, he was really good at hiding his fear.
"Neptune and Mercury you must be pretty good. You still remember how to fight?" Mark laughed, "Even here Apollo kids aren't sword fighters, even here they are archers, though I wouldn't want to be on the opposite end of his bow and arrow."

Amaria didn';t know who she wanted to win. Griffin was her friend but she cared about foster.

[Charlie]

Mark lead them to the arena, "You all can sit up their. Griffin choose you're armor. Pick your weapon, and meet him in the middle."
Mark left them. Foster went tot he opposite side of the fighting arena.
"It's like the Collesium." Rory said as she headed up to where Mark had pointed to.

Amaria nodded. "The colesiums were where gladiators fought." she poingted out.

[Charlie]

Rory gave her a look.
Griffin walked out to one side of the arena, the armor wasn't to different but it was enough.
Foster picked his armor easily. He saw kids filing in. This was going to be a spectacle. Especially since he knew neither of them could get killed.

Amaria shrugged at Corrie and sat down to watch.

Griffin uncapped his pen, and it grew to Anaklusmos. The Roman kids even knew this sword. And it was his choice weapon.
Foster would be fighting with his sword. A weapon he rarely used and when he did it was never good. Last time Griffin faced the Foster was leaving for the Underworld. Looks like he would be leaving again.
Foster walked out ready. Griffin met him.
Mark took a seat, he was head councilor and since this would be a fight to the death he would be the deciding factor, the thumb up or down.
