Amaria gestured for Rory to go.

Aiden didn't know what came over him but he stepped forward and pitched foster into the churning depths of the riRiver Styx.

Rory garbbed Nico's arm and they were gone. Nico was back shortly afterwords.

Foster found himself in the disgusting water of death. Not breathing was not fun. He found the current stronger than it looked as it took away. He needed something that kept him grounded, he chose his oldest friends, Archer, Griffin, Eric, and Amaria. He felt the tug but it was thinking of a spot, as he was he knew he was being pushed farther down into the river and down stream. The place he chose was in between his shoulder blades. It was protected, and even with an attack from behind they went for the lower back. The tug got stronger and focused on the spot it was maybe a dime size in diameter. He was shot out of the river wet, coughing up water and clearly pissed, "What the hell!" he said wiping the gross water off his face.

Now it was Amaria's turn and she walked to Nico and took his arm.

Aiden was shocked. "I don't know what happened, I'm sorry man."

Foster just glared at him. Not believing it. He pulled new dries clothes out of his enchanted backpack, and quickly put them on.

Nico left and returned. Griffin grabbed his arm and they left.

Luke appeared in front of Foster and Aiden, "All your friends are in DOA records. So you should leave." Luke looked at Foster. "You went in didn't you?"
"I was pushed." Foster huffed, but now the tumbling thing inside of him settled and he knew he was doing what they wanted.

Foster just glared at Aiden, "Well we fulfilled, The River Styx has two bathers." he turned and headed back to the entry of DOA records. He had a feeling no one would be liking him when he showed up. He had the feeling that his time on the quest was about to end.

Amaria stood in a corner uncharacteristically silen.

David couldn't help it he said "Someone get some water Amaria's thinking and there might be fire,," for which he recieved a smack to the face.

Griffin laughed. He picked up his bag and found new clothes, and quickly put the dry ones on.
Foster decided it best to simply ask, "So what happened?" he obviously knew that something had happened because Griffin was alive so Archer kept his promise since Griffin got in the river.
Corrie gave him a disapproving look.
Rory kept her mouth shut.

David seemed the only one that was willing to talk to him. 'Hades made a deal that we could leave if one of us fought you and Griffin volonteered.

Foster froze, the Roman armour. He had a bad feeling, "Where is this fight supposed to be?"
"The Roman Camp Half Blood." Griffin said his voice coated with disdain, but it was obvious he was trying to put the betrayal aside, if Percy could do it with something so much bigger he could do it with this. Not to mention Foster didn't want to come to California in the first place.

Foster froze then cursed, "Shit shit shit."
Corrie looked at him, "Well this quest is going just peachy."
Griffin looked at him, "Lead the way."
Foster sighed, "Well it's back in San Francisco."

Amaria, upon hearing they were leaving shut her book and out it away.

He reached in his bag and pulled out quite a few large gold coins. The looked like drachma but they were the Roman counter part Denari. He flipped one over in his hand it landed with the empire statebuilding up. "We'll be taking the bus." he announced.
Griffin looked at him.
"What kind of money is that?" Rory asked, "It doesn't look mortal or like Drachmas."
"It's Denari, Roman money."

Foster headed toward the main street, and began to look for a bus stop.
Rory was very quiet but said, "To think we went down there and only one person got in the river, guess that line isn't fulfilled. What a waist."
Foster sighed silently.

Foster looked at each pole of the bus stop signs. He finally found one he was looking for. It had a number to say which stop it was. But it was I'm Roman numerals. Bus stops like these were all over the country for Roman Demigods. Taking one was considered shameful since they couldn't make it on there own. But a group of demigods with five kids from the big three was an exception. He tapped the pole three times. "Bus will be here soon." he announced.
Rory looked at David, "To think one of us still has to go back down there."
Griffin watched the street waiting for the bus. He could sense the ocean they were a few miles away, but he could sense it. And he wouldn't lie he much rather be there than here.

The bus pulled up. It looked like a normal city bus. But an advertisement was on it in both Greek and Latin. It read Camp Halfblood.
Foster got on sitting at the front. The driver of the bus was he Roman Argus.
"They won't like this." he told Foster.
"I know. I can't wait to see there faces when they see me a week early with a bunch of kids they'll hate. Bacchus will be thrilled." he said sarcastically.
Foster knew his time on the quest would be over soon, he had a different calling but he would be playing his part in the whole thing.

Griffin got on sitting two rows up from the back. Rory sat in the middle. Corrie sat two rows back from the front. If their was ever time that a quest was challenged to be unsucessful it was now. The different views on how to treat Foster was clearly taking a toll.
AS soon as everyone got on the bus it headed off.

Griffin looked back, "You okay?" he asked.

Foster thought. He thought about what he was loosing. But a voice in his head told him, he was gaining respect from people more important than friends. His reward for his service was something worth the tough journey.

Griffin was now sitting backwards in the seat, "You say that, but everything about your demeanor says something else. Plus no offense you're a bad liar."

Rory hit heard head on the back of the seat. This was all going so badly. No one trusted anyone. She needed a plan, and for the first time in her life she didn't have one. She tried to think of what Foster would do at the Roman camp. But she didn't know. Foster was such a mystery the way he had been acting lately she was sure it was all connected.

Corrie looked Foster. He definitely acted different. The way he carried himself, and it all started around the time Griffin showed up. Despite what others were thinking, Corrie knew more about him than ever before. She watched as Foster pulled out his journal, it was now in Latin she knew this because she couldn't read it. He started to write. She wondered if whatever was in the book had the key to what was bothering him.
