She groaned, shutting her eyes and rolling to her side so she wouldn't see the lights. "Head's hurting like a bitch," she muttered, reopening her eyes halfway.

Sakura nodded, returning his sad smile with one of her own. "I'm sorry for being such a burden. I'm sorry that I prevent you from reaching your goal of becoming Hokage. I'm sorry for always slowing you down....I'm so sorry, Naruto." She closed her eyes tightly and cried softly.

Naruto wiped away her tears. "Sakura, you're not stopping me from anything. I promise." (I just remembered something: wasn't it me who said Naruto was Hokage at the beginning and that Stunade was X_X ?)

Naruto tensed. "I'm going to put an end to this, Sakura. So Orochimaru will never have Sasukeu again and you'll never have to worry about this. And unfortunately, the only one strong enough to kill Orochimaru is the one who wouldn't be here without him. And he knew she'd want Sasuke along. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Nite's.
She flipped it open on speaker. "Yeah?"
"I have an S rank mission I need you to take care of."
"Sure." She said, sitting up. "What is it?"
"I know you're probably not looking forward to this but, i need you to go back to Orchimaru's lair and find some way to kill him for good. Can you do that?"
"Yes. Naruto-sama. I can do that." And she hung up.

Naruto returned his attentiopn to the pink haired ninja in his arms. "It'll be alright."

She shook her head, "No Naruto. It wont." She pulled away from him and turned away, hugging herself. "It wont be okay until all of this is done. And I don't care what it takes," she looked at him over her shoulder. "But I'm going to do it. Myself."

...or so she thought. "Nite? Where are you going?" he asked quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful silence in the room. Sakura avoided his eyes, tears rolling down her face. "I'm tired of being behind everyone. I'm tired of being weak, Naruto. I don't care what I have to do to end all of this..." she finally looked up at him. "But like you fulfilled your promise to me, I'm going to do the same to you. She stood shakily, placed both hands on his cheeks and kissed him. "I promise that I'll end this."

Nite looked back at him over her shoulder while packing her back full of deadly razor sharp weapons that she looked too innocent to know what they were much less be a regular user of. "I'm afrain not, love. It's a very serious mission."

Naruto waited for her patiently. If they hurried, the could catch her. He knew that Sakura would succeed unscathed with a bodyguard like the older girl.

Sakura quietly snuck through the bathroom window with her things and made for the gate of Konoha. Sasuke sighed and nodded, getting up and putting on his clothes. "I'm going with you."
