Chris chuckled a little, but hid it as best he could. It was true though.

Kyle nodded pretending like she understood what he was saying. All of his cooking terms just flew over her head. She knew what vanilla was, but cornish she was clueless on.

"Go on, laugh, it turns out I am funny when I'm trying to be serious," Digby rolled his eyes, smirking slightly: a rare sight.

"Cornish ice cream is really creamy, generally rather yellow and utterly delicious. Tori got me into it because it's mainly English, coming from Cornwall and really rather damn good. I think layer 31 is cornish, the top ice cream layer; no-one's touched it, mainly because no-one knows what it is probably."

I want some cornish ice cream now Sad

"It's really good." she assured him, not even noticing the girl's name that he talked about it.

Chris didn't feel like laughing any more. But he nodded in complete under standing.

"Yeah? Good, you've learnt something then. Forget this dump, just take a few lessons with me babe and we'll paint the t- No, I can't do that," he chuckled, "Just thanking God that I'm not doing drama."

"And everyone stops laughing when I'm trying to be funny, great," he muttered, finishing off his cake in slight annoyance.

Kyle laughed, finishing off her sundea. "Sad, you would do well in drama." she told him.

"Thanks," Digby muttered before standing up: he didn't socialise more than was necessary, "See ya Chris E."

"And you should go in for the soccor team! It would be cool!" he smiled, "Go on, the current goalie broke his collar bone and is out for quite a bit! I dare you to."

This is probably a bit late to ask, but this is set in America, right?

"No problem." Chris, throwing his plate away.

"I plan on it, with the amount of footage my father sent into the dean." She smiled. "Just don't know how the captain will react. Guess I could ask right now." she said.

For Andy came walking up, Rex only a few strides behind. "Ask me what?"

"Oh right, Andy captain o' da team. How's it hangin' blud?" he snapped his fingers after he spoke, "Yeah, I so should never be allowed on stage unless there's a drum kit infront of me."

"Mmm..." Digby nodded, almost leaping out of skinnies as his phone began to ring.
Putting his hand into his pocket, he smirked as he saw who it was.
"Heya Tor, what are you calling for?... Whoa, slow down, slow down... Wh- Really? You're not lying?!... Okay, I know you're not the sprt to lie bu- That's amazing, but it isn't a problem?... Of course, well, Tori, I'll speak to you later, I'll get on Skype in a bit. See ya..." he clicked the button off, "Holy shit."

Kyle laughed, "You could be in Stomp."
"Its going good," he glanced at his roommate.
"I'm trying out for the team."
Rex kept his surprise to mild.
"I'll like to see you their. but no guarantees you'll make it." Andy said.
"Oh, I'll make it." She jested at him.
"Can we see proof then?" Rex asked.
Kyle smirked. "If you want to."

Chris didn't really have a clue what that was but knew he had seen a poster about it somewhere so he just nodded and laughed.
"Yeah, I could so do that," he said sarcastically, "but if you're doing soccor then I'll have to sit it out; my knee's still half-busted."

"Stomp is a show that is all percussion, but not just with drums" Kyle explained.
"You can be ref, and make sure she plays a fair game." Rex suggested.

"Oh I've seen that," Chris actually did, it was a rather funny story, "But yeah, ref's cool for me. I think I have a whistle somewhere on my keys... Yeah."
He pulled them out with his USB stick and room key card, all things that he shouldn't really be showing, but none seemed to mind.

Kyle got up with the dirty plates, and put them away. "Don't lok to triumphant yet." She smirked.
Rex finally got a good look at her, long thick brown staright hair, brown eyes, and not a twig. She was a real girl, well real as in not superficial.

"Coolio... Okay, that word is addictive! Just give me a tick though, I need to grab Digby."
"You called?"
"You were listening?"
"Yep... What, I was curious about how you and the girl were getting along big boy."
Digby smirked rather widely, obviously being rather happy...odd.
"Are you on drugs or something?"
"Nope, just a good mood," he said, flicking open his phone and showing the calling history, "and the bearer couldn't have been better!"
"Okay, explain to me later, at the moment we're going to the pitch for soccer, you think that you can help?"
Digby nodded and smirked at the rest of the group, doing it a little longer to Kyle. Plopping his face back into the natural scowl that he had, he started to walk out to the pitch ahead of all the rest, whistling a tune.
"That's the happiest I've ever seen him."

"Odd." Kyle said. Chris then appeared behind her out of no where, and dry.
"Dude where have you been?" Rex asked.
"No where." He replied. "What's up."
"Going to the feild to see if she is up to snuff for the team." Andy informed.
"Posistion?" Chris asked.
"Goalie." Kyle replied.
"I'm a defensive man myself." Chris said.
REx grabbed a ball, from a bag in a broom closet and followed the group.

Twas true, Digby was kicking a ball about, attempting to do all the tricks but failing rather badly, cussing each time he did.

Chris just stood by the side, now regretting that he didn't bring a jumper or something. Folding his arms, he put the whistle in his mouth.
"So! Penalty shoot-out! Best of five! Think we can do that?!"
Digby just shrugged before flicking the ball onto the back of his neck, smirking slightly. Sending it back over, he continued to keep it up with his feet as he looked at Chris.
"Sounds fine with me, but I think it's Kylie that you need to comfirm it with!" he shouted back, "Plus I'm only good with skillz."

Chris, Andy, and Rex nodded in agreement. "I'll want to see you'r skills as well, out of the goal." Andy told her.

"I know it is, it's just that Kyle is a guy's name and Kylie rather suits you!" Digby chuckled.
"Umm... Digby? I could easily tell her your first name to get reven-"
"Do that and I'm out of the band."
That was always his threat, but Chris didn't have the heart to tell him that they didn't really need him badly; guitarists were easy to find.
"Fine, fine, keep your panties on! So... Who's gonna go first?"
He nodded at Kyle as he spoke, a small smirk on his face, just as he did a ball flew past her head and into the goal. Chris sighed as a celebrating Digby was running around the pitch in celebration.
"1-0 to us!" Digby called as he was half-way through thr moon walk, "and it does count!"
"Diggers, shut-up!"

Kyle sighed, first goal in a while that had gotten past her. She was thankful her dad wasn't their to chew her out. She wouldn't argue it though.
Andy had a smirk on his face. "Well give it back."
Kyle took the ball, and punted it, to him, hitting him in the gut, knocking him down and the wind out of him.
"You have it back."

"Ooo, sore loser much?" Digby chuckled at the end of his MJ impression, something that was hardly ever seen and most were thankful for that.
"Digby, last straw."
"Chris, just enjoy the game! Man you've become boring! You all say that I'm the one tucked up in the corner but no, you're one reffing."
Chris ignored that and instead blew the whistle for the next shoot-out. Digby just watched on the side-lines, still with a smirk on his face.

Rex took his shot, seeing as Andy was still recovering from the blow. Kyle blocked it with ease, and through it back. "I wanna see hotshot try and get past me." She was referring to Andy of course.
"Careful with the name calling, miss." Andy said. "Ya never know what I might say on accident."
Kyles eyes narrowed, when he said that, if he was within range of her, she would have drop kicked him at the moment. "Just kick the damn ball." She said.

Chris and Digby just watched on together on the side lines, smirking as the trio conversed.
"Why are you so damn happy? What did she say?"
"Don't worry," Digby smirked beneath his fringe, "I'll tell you later, but all I'll say is that Tor is over the moon along with Drew and Rickers; that's all the info you're gonna get right now, kay?"
Chris just nodded as he blew the whistle again for Rex's goal, not really watching the game anymore. He was more focused on the phone call.
"Okay...but how long are you gonna stay preppy for? It isn't like you."
"It'll be over my morning, don't worry. I'll be back to my normal self then you big lummox."
