Johnny: I wrapped my arms around her and held her close, letting her story spill out.
"Don't be sorry, don't ever be sorry, it wasn't your fault. I... I love you and you can tell me anything."
I said pausing before dropping the "l" word. I grimaced, I had hoped to tell her somewhere better in better circumstances, it was too late.
But I really did love her.

Molly: I leaned onto one leg and crossed my arms, my bargain face on. "I know that fact very well, I also know that the scales you want are the rare kind. I know that the only way to successfully brew your potion you need them. I know that if you don't get them before this next full moon you'll have to wait another twenty years, and we both know the man you're trying to get them from won't sell at a low price. All I'm asking for is two days of freedom, the night included, in what way is that a bad deal for you?"
I raised my eyebrows and pursed my lips, waiting for her next garbled mess of words. I would get what I wanted, somehow I would get it.

Robin: "My mum never talked about him bu--"
Then I realised.
He said that he loved me.
He loved me?
Really?
"Y-you love me?"
It was at the moment that I sat up, my lips drier than they ever had been before. My eyes searched his face, watching him, seeing if what he said was just trying to get me to change the subject or if it was actually genuine...
"You love me."
I forgot everything behind me. A huge grin grew on my face as I felt my cheeks beginning to glow red. And as I looked away to look at the palms of my hands fiddling with themselves, I didn't really know what to say.
"Wow," I murmured, chuckling slightly, "He loves me."

Lilith grimaced in her mind. Unfortunately, and as much as she gated to admit it, she was right. Smeltler wouldn't sell her those damn scales cheaply and she did need them for the transmorphication potion that she had been working on, or at least she would do of she had that bloody ingredient.
"And how do you think you'll get these scales for that cheap cheap price? He very well knows that you work for me and you know that he has a grudge against me be use of a silly old reason. So what, I killed his wife, but he still is adamant that he won't sell me them... Mmm?"

Johnny: I leaned my head on her back and groaned. "I didn't want to tell you like this.. I wanted to tell at a romantic dinner or during a sunset.... or something else but this!"
I smiled, though, as she mumbled to herself.
Her happy made me happy.
"Yes. I did say it.."

Molly: I smiled and put a finger to my lips as if telling her to keep a secret. "I have my ways, they are for me know and for you to create a deal upon. So, what is it? Will you make a deal with me, or not?"
I had her.
I kept my joy hidden inside me, deep, deep inside me.

Robin: I quickly shook my head, "Look, Johnny, that would have been nice and all, but you just really cheered me up. Sure, a romantic dinner or a sunset or a beach would have been a good way to say it, but I don't really care about that. You've just really cheered me up, and you said that you'd listen to me and everything... What more do I need? Telling me in your bedroom after I had a mini-freak out is a lot better than any of that."
And it was at that point that I would have turned around and snogged him, but unfortunately his head was firmly on my back so I couldn't really move. But instead I gently rested my hands on his leg, trying to peer over my shoulder at him with my infectious grin on my face.
"Because I love you too. I don't see what would make any moment better than this one, just as long as I'm with you, silly."
And I did mean that. He was the only guy that I had truly ever felt this way about, and even though I never really paid attention to him a few months ago, we had circumstances that were a little...different.
"But I'll tell you what. It's getting close to sunset and I'm feeling a bit peckish. If you want to quickly whip up something we can pretend that this never happened and start from the top...?"
It was a stupid idea, yes, but I did want to cheer him up. I couldn't have him moping about. He was the bloke.

The old woman looked down to her catalogue for a moment. In the middle of the page, circled a good few times certainly was the one ingredient that she needed: Water Dragon Scales. One pot. Circled a few hundred times in red ink.
"If you present the scales to me before you leave, then we shall have a deal. No scales, no freedom. Scales come first. Then, we have a deal."

Johnny: I looked up, then grabbed her face and kissed it.
"I really love you, now I shall heat up a romantic frozen dinner for you." I said feeling bubbly.
My legs didn't really seem to work as I stumbled over the kitchen but that didn't stop the huge grin that was on my face. My sharper cat like incisors shone brightly in my fantastic smile. She loved me.
I felt like a high school girl right after the guy of her dreams smiled at her, only I felt better.I brought the warm mac and cheese dinners over to my bed with forks and sat next to her.
"I love you."

Molly:"Fine. I'll be going then. I will bring your scales in an hour. Be waiting."
With that I walked out of the store and through the alleyway of time straight to down town.
How the hell was I supposed to get Water Dragon scales?
Shit.

Robin: I thought that we established that already?, I grinned to myself, resting the plate on my lap, "Love you too."
Stabbing my fork into the mix of greasy cheese and pasta tubes, I peered up to him and blushed. This was perfect. And it was just in time for the sunset from out of the window.
"Is it more ideal now?" I joked, shoving in a spoonful of pasta into my gob, "Romantic mac 'n' cheese, a sunset just outside and a sofabed. What more could you want?"
With a giggle, I realised something. That, for once, despite everything that had happened today, or the past few weeks in general, this was definitely the best while or my life, and definitely the best adventure that Molly and I had ever had... Okay, the best that I have ever had. Molly's still stuck under Lilith's rein, but I was sure that she was having fun learning about spells and things.

Lilith grinned as the door shut behind her apprentice. Finally, she could get some peace and quiet. And it was then, that with her trusty black marker that she turned to he page with the scales on.
"Water Dragon Scales?... Check."

Johnny: "I have to say that this is the best date I've ever been on." I answered grinning. The sunset sent a bit of light through the grimy windows of the apartment and lighted up the room in oranges and reds making Robin seem almost magical herself.
If you backed up and actually thought about the situation it would seem crazy but I couldn't get over my glee from her words.
Those four words lifted my heart.

Molly: I jogged down the street almost frantically, searching my mind for facts for anything.
I needed that free time.
I already had them planned out.
I took out my cell phone and began to dial a number.
"Hello, Fergie?"

Robin: "This is a date?" she asked, raising a brow with a giggle, "If you say so."
After tucking into a good amount of my dinner, I put down the fork on my plate and sighed happily. I guess it did count as a date, in some ways. And though it did start out a bit rocky, it did turn out that it was the best that I had ever been on...although it was also my my first one (which no one was going to know about. Ever).
"Compliments to the chef, this isn't that bad for a microwave meal," I smirked, watching as Johnny shoved in a huge mouthful of the food, "Charming."

Fergie: "What you gon' do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I'ma get, get, get, get you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
What you gon' do with all that ass?
All that ass inside them jeans?
I'ma make, make, make, make you scream
Make you scream, make you scream.
What you gon' do with all that junk?"
Black Eyed Peas, my guilty pleasure was blasting from my radio as I lounged lazily in the bath. I needed a bath, I honestly did. I had had a horrid day and I needed to relax and forget about Molly.
Then, I jumped.
The phone was ringing?
"Please please please be Molly!... Thank you!"
Reaching out to turn off the radio, or at least put it onto a less...degrading station, I cleared my throat and accepted the call.
"Hello Molly. What are you calling at this hour for? I thought that we agreed that it would be better if we never spoke again?"
But as if that would have happened. I had already had a massive breakdown as I was thinking about her too much. Honestly, it wasn't pretty.

Johnny: I rolled my eyes then smiled at her, food in my mouth and all. After swallowing I grinned, "I have a way with a microwave, people call it a gift, I think I can just understand them.." I looked into the distance with a reflective face.
I held that for about a minute before laughing my ass off.
I smiled at her then wiped some cheese off her face tenderly, "And you call me messy.."

Molly:
My breath caught when he picked up, words seemed to float away from mind for a moment.
I didn't think he'd pick up.
I...
Words came flooding back and I cleared my throat all business like.
"Yes, I know what I said but I need some Water Dragon scales pronto, if I can get them... Well, I'll tell you later about that, all you need to know is that it's really important... Fergie.. Please help me." I said, it started off sounding pretty professional but by the end I was pleading him.
I hugged myself and waited for his voice through the crackly reception, I had done all I could to make the phone and my voice inaudible for Lilith so she couldn't hear what I or Fergie were saying.
Well, she wouldn't even know I was calling someone.
"Fergie?"

Robin: Shrugging, I pressed my lips as he dabbed. I tried my best not to laugh, but his laugh was funnier than the situation.
"You haven't seen what my room really looks like... And I never called you messy, and if I did I would have to take it back; this apartment looks like an OCD lives here."
With a small chuckle, I ran my tongue along my front teeth. Damn, I bullied him, didn't I?
"But if 'microwave control' is a superpower, I'll let you keep that one. I'm quite satisfied with what I have."

Fergie: Water Dragon scales? Was she joking?
"You are joking right? Those are pretty damn rare..."
But where could I get them from? And did I really want to give them to her?... Of course I did: it was Molly.
"I-I dunno if I can get...them. Hold on a sec!"
Leaping out of the tub, I grabbed some towels and wrapped one around my waist whilst another hung over my shoulders. Soggily, I padded over to my room, punting the door open with my foot as I began to ruffle my ginger locks dry. Letting out a deep sigh, I walked over to my chest of drawers.
"How many do you need?"

Johnny: I raised an eyebrow, "OCD? It's neat but not that neat and what is your superpower? Hmmm? What makes it so much better than mine?"
I crossed my arms and leaned back waiting for her to enlighten me with her magical power. My breath caught in my throat, temporarily, as her tongue crossed over her teeth.
Unfair.

Molly:
"About five, why does it sound like you were in the bath?"
I wondered.
I leaned against a building to get out of the way of people and ignored all the magicals that I saw. Once you had the sight, and knew how to use it, you automatically saw all the magic in the world,
You could identify what a soft blue aura meant if you practiced or you could she the antlers that were hidden with magic before.

Robin: My eyes rolled loosely, "You know what I do."
Carefully putting the plate down on the floor, I went onto my knees and shuffled next to him. Taking his arm, I trailed my fingers up his arm, right from his palm to the top of his shoulder. Then.
Rip.
Tugging at his now torn off sleeve, I showed him that it was well and truly ruined. Glancing up to his face, I began to study it, making a note of what it looked like: it was priceless.
"Hold still, now. It may tingle."
Putting the sleeve close to where it had just been removed from, I covered my hand on his shoulder and took in a deep breath.
Slowly, a small light shone beneath my palm as that strange numb tingle returned. And as it subsided. I returned my sights to the sleeve.
"Fixed."

Fergie: I nodded, but then quickly realised that I was on the phone to her; she couldn't have seen that.
"Yep, getting the mud out of my hair," I smirked, pulling open the bottom draw, "And five? I thought that you were more talking about like a jar of them, knowing you."
With a laugh, I scooped out all of my boxers and socks, digging to the bottom until I came across what I was looking for. But the laugh quickly died down as I placed it gently on top of the chest.
"Right... I have the scales. Where should I meet you?"

The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production) - Page 34 Empty Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)

Post by bookcrazI Sun Feb 19, 2012 3:00 pm

(I read that really quick and for a moment I had thought she had ripped his arm off)
Johnny: With my eyes wide I studied her face, so she shared Molly's magic though hers seemed to have developed later.
My face turned quizzical as I tried to figure out how this had happened. Yes they had both knocked on the door but why had Molly shown power first and at a larger decimal? Robin already had a bit of magic in her blood, maybe that was the reason. Her body was already used to it so the power just mixed with her own, the reason it didn't show up as soon was because her body was used to storing it rather than using it. Molly may have magic in her but very little and since her body was unused to it, it affected her more.
But she seemed to know how to control her magic like a professional.
Everything was so complicated!
I sighed roughly and looked at Robin.
"You're so perfect.."

Molly:
"At the park, between June's cross and Luigi's place." She murmured, a small smile on her face.
She hung up before he could say goodbye and began her way to the park, it was one of her favorite places to go. Fergie didn't know about that, she hadn't the chance to tell him nor could she have shown him and she figured she might as well show him now.
While she had the time.

Post by OpenTheDoor Sun Feb 19, 2012 3:42 pm

Yeah, I was typing it quickly. It probably wasn't the clearest. Sorry.

Robin: I felt my cheeks burn a little as sat back down on my butt again, picking up the plate of pasta and putting a forkful in my mouth as quick as I possibly could. I didn't particularly like doing it all too much seeing as it made me a little light headed and my hand numb for ages, making handling cutlery harder to handle. But I did hear everything that he just worked out, which was handy.
"Thwanks," I murmured, swallowing down down the dish, "The biggest thing that I had done it with is a TV. I also mended the locker after you smashed it earlier, hence why I was in class a little faster than it would have done if I had to go get Mr. Parkins to sort it out... I'm rambling now."
Blinking a couple of times, I looked back up again and smiled, my cheeks still red quite a bit. He was a cute guy, and he was mine.

Fergie: Beep.
"Bye then," I muttered, slipping the phone in my non-existent pocket before tossing it on my bed "Love you too."
I probably got changed quicker than I had ever had done in the past before. But I knew that the quicker that I went, the less that my mind would think about her and miss her; I needed to get this over and done with.
Grabbing the scales, I practically sprinted out of the door and down the road as the darkness began to settle. I couldn't tell anyone where I was going; they all thought I was in the bath still.

(no, it's fine, it was pretty funny actually Smile)
Johnny: I smiled back and placed my empty plate onto the kitchen counter. I noticed her blush and my smile grew, she didn't know how pretty she was. Night began to sneak in as the sunset's colors faded and I turned on my little lamp. It's little light lit up the apartment making shadows dance on the walls.
"So...Not that I'm complaining, but shouldn't you go home soon? Your mom will probably start to worry, and this isn't the safest neighborhood at night, I don't want you to get hurt."I murmured glancing out the dusty window and grimacing at the night sounds.

Molly:
I sat in a swing and felt the night wrap itself around my shoulders and darkness sink in. I had about thirty minutes until I had to get the scales to Lilith but I had faith in Fergie.
I smiled to the night creatures and began to hum, a bit of music echoing in my head, then sing.
"Well you done done me, and you bet I felt it. Try to be chill..." I sang along to Jason Mraz's I'm Yours in the silence.
I had to keep Fergie out of my head.

Yes because having your arm ripped off is hilarious Wink

Robin: I forgot about going home. Balls.
"I think it's you that's worrying, Mister," I smirked, standing up, "But I guess. But knowing my luck Rusty's gonna break down...but I can fix him now, can't I?... Ooo, maybe I could do him up? I'll have to test that theory when I get home!... And I' rambling again. Sorry."
Carefully getting off of his bed, I brushed off myself for no apparent reason other than nerves and sighed. I didn't want to leave, though.
"But yeah, you're right."
Getting onto my tiptoes, I rested my chin on his shoulder, gently nibbling the lobe of his ear for no better reason other than the fact that it was there. When I didn't want to leave, I did stupid things like that. One time, at a party I locked myself in the toilet so that I could stay. They ended up breaking down the door with an axe. I shat myself.

Fergie: "Well, there's June, Luigi and...Molly."
Slowly and as silently as I could possibly get, I began to creep up closer, my shoes quieter than the crickets that were surrounding us. But as I got closer, I noticed that she was singing; I would notice the beauty of her voice anywhere.
And now it was time for me to make my presence known.
"...but you're so hot that I melted. I fell right through the cracks, and now I'm trying to get back."

--

Going slightly off topic for a moment... Okay, a lot off topic.
Like a year ago I was on a ferry back from France to England and there was a coach of school kids on there as well, all young teenagers probably coming back from a school trip or something, I guessed. But during the middle of the journey, I was sitting there, reading magazine or something and then they all started crowding one of the tables near the centre, like 20 of them.I noticed this out of the corner of my eye because usually school kids create chaos on the ferries and make it very hard for me not to walk around without being stared at. Anyway, one of them put their phone in the centre of one of the tables and, quite loudly, started playing I'm Yours. Then, all of a sudden, one of the boys starting singing it, and by the end, all of them were singing it together in perfect harmony. I honestly wished that I recorded it and put it on YouTube, it was amazing. And everyone was clapping and cheering afterwards. But it was amazing.

(I have a sick sense of humor okay?Razz)
Johnny: I blinked trying to focus, which was incredibly hard when Robin was nibbling on my ear. My thoughts kept wandering, I couldn't catch a single one until I had to take a step back for a moment to breathe.
"Uh... Robin, you can stay if you want but I don't want you to get in trouble.. also if you want to go home I'll go with you, as I said it's dangerous here. The last thing I want is for you to get hurt." I said looking into her glittering eyes.

Molly:
I turned and blushed seeing Fergie.
Fergie.
I got up off my swing and ran at him and with a little leap I pounced on him causing us both to fall to the ground. I rested my head on his chest and hugged him tightly, my heart starting to hurt.
"Thanks for coming."

Robin: Me? Get in trouble? As if! But then again, she was home this time and I didn't pile up my pillows in a way that made it look like I was sound asleep.
"If you want to escort me home, then could you? And don't say 'if I want to leave'; you know that I honestly don't."
I wasn't going to argue with the whole 'don't want you to get hurt' thing though; I wouldn't want me to get hurt either so it was a purely natural reaction.
"But okay... Do you want your socks back then?" I tittered, chewing into my lip slightly as I peered back into his eyes.

Fergie: Crack.
I had to blink a couple of times before I caught my whereabouts. So, I was on the floor with Molly on top of me... Good night for me then.
"Not a problem," I wheezed, trying to catch my breath, "A hug would have been better though."
But, then I realised. It was Molly. Molly was near me again. I wouldn't be able to leave her again... She was so beautiful, it was unfair on all of the other girls in the world that she could shine so brightly and--
I needed to concentrate.
"Anyway, I have the scales. I'll give them to you if I can reach my back pocket."

[Yeah, it's a good song. But to be honest it was slightly annoying towards the end... Then it turned out that they got through on Britain's Got Talent. I was like 'heard them live' Razz]

Johnny: I looked down and sighed, I had to be responsible boyfriend now, I didn't want to be but I'd didn't want her mom to dislike me. I grabbed a coat from my closet, slipped on my sneakers then glanced back at her.
"You can keep them, I can escort you on my bike." I murmured grabbing my helmet while I was at it.
I snatched my keys then opened the door, beckoning for her to go with me. As hard as it was, and how much I wanted her to stay with me, I knew being a gentleman was the best way to go.

Molly:
I slid off him and onto the grass, I peered at him, studying his aura of magic and the brighter one that I could only assume was the dragon scales. I blinked and switched it off, my eyes returning to normal night vision.
I concentrated on not leaping on him again, it was pretty hard not to.
"I'm sorry.." I mumbled.
I must have looked like a wild woman, my hair messy from the day, Lilith didn't believe in hair brushes I had to search around the store until I find one, my clothes disheveled and ripped. Lilith had certain rules on what I could wear, it had to be magic and none of the items she had fit me so my clothes were usually a patchy mess of hand sewn lines and a pair of jeans.
Charms dangled off bracelets and necklaces around me and the kohl eye liner that I had worn for a spell that morning hadn't rubbed off yet.
I was a mess.
He looked divine, even smelling quite good too, like fruity soap, his hair was still a bit damp. All of it caused my heart to ache .

Robin: "Are you okay?"
He seem a little off... Maybe I shouldn't have said that he could take me home, but then again I could have died either from some weirdo jumping out at me whilst I was stopped at a traffic light or if I stayed then by my mum when I got home. It was the only safe option.
But than again I told her that I was seeing Molly.
Oh well, she'll understand. She was in a good mood.
Grabbing my helmet with the fizzy ears on, seeing as Angie managed to hide my plain black one somewhere in the tip that is her bedroom, I tucked it under my shoulder, slipping on my shoes... Maybe I could get Johnny to wear it one day? Now that would be funny.

Fergie: Sitting up, I slipped my hand into my back pocket.
"Shit."
Getting onto my knees, I took out the scales out of my back pocket, about a dozen in total, all in tact. But if they were intact then...
"Oh gosh."
Pulling out what else was in my pocket, I frowned. Scraps of splintered wood had broken into a load of pieces, all of assorted sizes. Spreading them on the floor, I picked out the largest piece; a small handle and the base of the hollow curve.
"My rattle's broken..." I murmured, holding onto the wooden stick, "The scales were in there. In rich families, dragon scales used to a sound investment; they were rare and only going to get more valuable. People used to put them in weird places for safe keeping. Our family put it in my rattle so that I could keep hold of it. And of course, they were magic so they wouldn't break, not ever... Shame the wood's enchantment isn't as strong as it used to be..."
Peering up to her, I tried on a grin, but it didn't feel right. I mean, I had just lost the only thing that I had of my real family, before I Peter found me... Whoa.

Johnny: I nodded and locked the door to my apartment after us then shoved a book under the gap in the corner.
"There, that should do it." I confirmed with an extra kick.

Molly:
I frowned and put a hand on his arm, "I'm so sorry.. I shouldn't have jumped on you....It's all my fault.. OMIGAWSH.. I have like ten minutes to get the scales to Lilith, I will make it up to you I promise. I get two days for these."
I carefully scooped up the scales and with a look around me and a loss of pockets I stuffed them into my bra.
"I will explain more later, I have to go. I Love you!" I shouted back at him as I ran off to Lilith.

Robin: Raising a brow, I tried so hard to ask a sarcastic question about his DIY skills, deciding that it would be better if I kept him happier and me feeling a lot safer.
But as he reached outside, a cold wind whipped down my spine, making me shiver for a second despite the fact that I was wearing my warmest duffle coat, scarf and fingerless leather gloves at the time. It only felt like a second ago that it was sunset... Weird how the darkness settles so quickly.
"Come on then," I grinned, putting the helmet on the top of my head, resting there before I put it on fully, "Do you know the way to my place from here?"
I honestly didn't know. I knew he knew where I lived, but not the route, and the safest one at that. Even though I was in a better side of the neighbourhood than here, it still wasn't crimeproof.
Taking a seat on Rusty, I prepared my butt for endurance. It was ridiculous how uncomfortable the seat was. The squeaky brakes, the rusting paintwork and the terrible suspension was manageable, but the seat just made your ass raw.
But looking up from my ancient scooter, I just smirked at the motorbike he had, something that looked a million times better than my ride any day and it could probably outrun it easily. But he'd have to keep slow for me.
Ha.

Fergie: Blinking a couple of times, I sighed; she was gone again, and all before I could reply or say anything else.
"See ya, love ya... Wait, two days? Well, Lilith did want the scales for a potion a while ago, for the... Oh shit."
Standing up onto my feet, I brushed off the dirt that was clinging to my clothes with my hand, the one still holding that fragment of the rattle. I didn't know why I was in such a bad mood about it though; I was going to have to break it to give her the scales anyway... Maybe I just wanted to do it myself.
"Too late now, anyway."
Picking up the larger pieces, I collected them in my back pocket before beginning to walk back to my place. I was totally shattered.

"Five minutes left. I wonder if she'll make it in time? Fu fu fu."
Lilith was sat happily at the counter still with the two books opened in front of her. One, a spell book, one that she had had ever since she was a young girl, full of scribbles and notes on every page; the other was the catalogue of ingredients that she had, needed and new where they were supplied for at the cheapest of prices. These two books together held all of her secrets, all of her wisdom and all of her knowledge in their thick leather casings. Of course, there was a third, but that girl, Robin, stole it, didn't she? But it didn't wholly matter; she knew the majority of the spells off by heart, anyway, but she would always have to refer to her catalogue and potions books. She always would.

Johnny: I smiled at her and sat on my cherry red bike, with a wink I did the strap under my chin and kicked the kick stand off the bike. I glanced at Robin and her curious bike and revved the engine.
My bike was in perfect condition, I always treated her with care, Rusty ,on the other hand, was a bag of oil and metal. With a bit of care the old thing might run a bit better, maybe.
"I know the way and I'll drive slowly, don't worry babe." I announced.

Molly:
I ran into the store and slid in front of Lilith, I shoved my hand into my bra and held out a hand of scales. I took my other hand and gathered the others and pooled them into the spot before Lilith.
"Here. I have completed my side of the deal, now you must complete yours, I will leave in a moment and return at this time in two days. Precisely at six o'clock. What say you?" I finished, taking a breath.
My eyes sparkled and my hands glowed with success.

Robin: Switching on the scooter, I just winked at Johnny before putting on the helmet properly. With a clunk of cogs, Rusty fumbled into life, sounding pretty sorry for himself. He worked fine, though; he just had a bit of a nasty cough, is all.
Pulling out onto the street, I didn't look behind me to see if he was behind me. Instead, I just kept my eyes on the on road whilst making sure that I wouldn't get attacked.

A brow rose on the old woman's face, her fingers counting exactly how many scales were there. There were plenty more than she needed, which was an even better thing. And that made her grin, for once.
"Fine, a deal's a deal," she shrugged, getting a preprepared pot that she had on the side, "I shall see you in two days time."
Her smile didn't fade as she looked up from her desk. Waving her hand, she dismissed the girl with a look, ridding her so that she could concentrate on what she had to do for her potion.
"Make sure you're not late."
