Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Robin: Life or death? Really? I was going to die? Dammit.
"Yeah... Anyway, what do you suggest Legolas?" I asked again, trying to get him to actually answer me.
Why did I seem so frustrated and bitchy at the moment? Maybe it was the prospect of death...or maybe just the fact that I kissed an elf.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Johnny: I frowned but then smiled, I was going to make the best possible situation out of this current bad one. " Well, first we have to go somewhere safe and do a safety spell then maybe try and get some answers about how to break the curse. I've only heard about the seeing curse, about it happening, I've never heard of someone breaking it but who knows. Maybe with an elf on you side you guys won't get ripped apart. By the way, Legolas was a white forest elf, I happen to be a green forest elf. There is a difference." I said evenly.
Molly: I just quivered a bit. "What happened to Fergie? Did that ass find a new girl already. 'You're so beautiful Molly, I've never seen someone so pretty. You're so smart and amazing and.. and...' I can't believe I believe his crap. beautiful my ass. He just wanted to use me....Like a tissue!" I said slowly breaking into tears. I really wasn't that angry at him, more at my own stupidity and also fear of dying had a lot to do with it, Robin could probably tell that. I hoped.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Robin: "Be there in a sec Johnny, and I know about Legolas; I have a small guilty with LOTR thanks. Girl problems."
I took Molly's hand and took her to the side with a sigh; I couldn't believe that she could think that. Of course he wouldn't.
"Mols, as your best buddy since we can remember, I can easily say that is a lie. Honestly, he's a ginger twat. Just get over him. If I were you I would just forget him and focus on you. Seriously, I have a feeling that after this me and Johnny isn't going to happen... Not that it's the elf thing, it's the other thing that I don't even know is a thing... Damn it's hard being a confused girl. So, chin up chickie, okay? Plus I bet your not really angry; your just saying it because you need to take it out on someone and bf's are the best for it...ha, that's what it's like with me and Johnny... Anyway, point is, let's go before we're carcasses!"
I passed her a tissue with a smile before taking her back over to Johnny, a small smile on my face to try and keep her up as much as I could.

Molly: "Robin, wait," i said and grabbed her arm pulling her back. "johnny's a real nice guy, so he has pouty ears, does that really mean you wouldn't date him? isn't that a bit like discrimination? Sorry to get all 'brainy' on you but think about it."
i blew my nose in the tissue and walked up to Johnny.
Johnny: I nodded at Molly."okay, c'mon Mo your house is probably the safest and biggest out of all of our houses." i said simply. With her nod we all exited the bathroom and walked to my motorcycle, I looked around carefully making sure there was no danger then looked at the bike.
"Shit."
My bike could hold only two people it'd be too dangerous to send only Robin and Molly home without my help and i couldn't just leave one of them here.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Robin: I sighed; she was probably right... Anyway, it was probably just me not wanting anything complicated again and surely him being an elf will make things so, right?... Plus he rides a gosh-damn beaut of a bike. Oh. The bike.
"So, first hurdle, eh?" I smirked, looking at it, "It's either we go two at a time or we attempt to steal somebody else's from the front or rent a sidecar, all of which requires money and time which we all don't have... Well me for all parts, you twi probably aren't affected by the former...or I could get Oli; he isn't at work or college."
I slipped out my phone and looked to the pair for objectitions.
"Or I could take you...?"
I turned around to see Fergie standing there, a small smirk on his face. It looked kinda guilty in a way, somehow. Hmm...

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I turned and let my back face him and crossed my arms, I knew the whole thing was probably was my fault but I could feel he was keeping somthing from me and it was probably something to do with the sight. None the less, I was still hurt and angry, not even to acceptance yet in the break up stages which were usually short for me, about a day or two.
I looked at johnny and whispered in his ear.
Johnny: I sighed, wasn't she telling Robin this? I really didnt want to get into it with Fergie, his mom knew my mom and we were good aquaintises. I looked at her and moved aside with the glare directed my way.
"Molly told me to tell you that she doesn't want anything to do with you... And that she won't talk to you either... I don't care if that not exactly what you said. I'm not a messenger!" I said turning to her exasperated.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: I was hurt and I let my face show it.
"W-what did I do?" I asked, back to my old stuttery self.
"You bloody well know what you did..." I heard Robin mutter but ignored it fully.
"Look, Molly, whatever I did... Could you possibly say to me? I know you might not be speaking to me but honestly I don't want anyone to get into this when I just need to know. You were probably doubtful to what I said in the car but I truly meant everything single word that passed my lips!... I just can't believe that you can't remember how much I like you... Not past tense and still present. I've liked you ever since I first saw you, heard you, saw that glimmer in your eye when you laugh... I've liked you before I changed."
With a sigh, I took out the spare set of keys amd held them in my palm. I put them into Johnny's hand, the look of defeat on me.
"Take my car; Jefferey should be waiting in the café opposite and I, or you, can get him, okay?"

Molly: I turned to him still angry. "I asked you about the magic and you lied I could feel it, my eyes have sight. Telling truth from lies is part of it, you lied and I knew and that hurt. I really don't care how much you like me or if you stole things or whatever but know this. I hate liars." I said and I went to Robins side.
Johnny: I nodded to Fergie and took the keys, "you're helping us out much more than you could know bud... Oh crap." I looked to the side and saw a troll.
The one I had been sensing for a while now, it had Molly's and Robin's scent and now it had Fergie's and mine. We were all doomed if we didn't run.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: I just nodded, not really know how to react; I didn't know what else I could say.
"See ya then," I muttered before looking to the troll, "Ha, Lauren Hathowhits."
Robin: My eyes turned to the troll, them almost popping out of my skull. This wasn't going to be good. Period.
"Okay, where's the Merc?" I rushed, looking at Fergie desperately.
As he pointed to it, I ran to it and tapped on the window to alert Jeffrey who's face wasn't all that happy. I jangled the keys which I took out of Johnny's hand whilst he was looking at the troll. I could easily be a master thief or assassin in my mind.
I opened the car and slipped in the passengers seat, waving at the guys; Jeffrey could live without the car for now.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Johnny: I grabbed Fergie and pulled him with us before he could leave and pulled him into the car. I slid into the drivers seat and started th ngine ignoring Molly's angry face as she was forced to sit in the back with Fergie but the troll had caught on and was heading straight to the car really fast. I started the car and turned causing Molly to slam in to Fergie as we drove off. We were all targets now. Once q troll starts a hunt they don't stop, they have particular fun picking it's enemies or food off one by one, the fear is it's favorite topping.
Molly: I pushed myself away from Fergie and to the farthest corner trying not to cry.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: Just staying in the silence hurt me the most. The anger in her eyes... I guess this was Last Chance Saloon.
"Molly, I know I lied, but I didn't know... I was scared that I was going to pull you into deeper trouble and problems, but now I see that I was just being a jerk."
I didn't care about going around the sharp corners or even slamming into the door; I just wanted to fix this.
Robin: "So, troll?" I asked, looking at Johnny, "Who would know?"

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: "you were." I said jutting out my lip. I looked at him hurt and then jumped when something hard hit the car. I looked through the back window and tapped Robin's shoulder frantically. "it's getting faster... Drive! DRIVE JOHNNY!" I screamed as the troll was running, an eery smile plastered on it's face.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Robin: "Owowowowow!" I shouted, slapping her hand, "Okay! But I'm not Johnny!"
With that, the car sped up, my shoulder and back absolutely murderous. Why did she do that? She knew that I bruised like a peach.
I sighed as we zoomed around a corner, half expecting us to be on the other end of a wall in a minute. The other half of me expected a reply from Fergie, but he just stayed there in a tender silence, the boy thing. I might have to talk to Mols later about it.
I looked to Johnny and sighed; I wasn't going to get a reply, was I? Shame, I kinda wanted to talk to him...but then again a troll was on our tail and it wasn't very good for us to be talking about relationships when that was happening, eh?...then again I have talked about things in the wrong moment before.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Johnny: I turned the car rapidly at Molly's street and then into her driveway. I threw open the door and yanked the keys from ignition while yelling for everyone to get out at the same time. I ran to the door and turned the handle only to realize it was locked. "MOLLY UNLOCK THE DOOR!" I yelled I could feel the troll on our tails.
Molly: I ran to the door fast, even in heels, and fumbled around in my purse before getting the key, I quickly unlocked the door and pushed everyone inside before slamming the door behinds us. Johnny had already been to the kitchen and back extraordinarily fast and started pouring salt around the house. I bit my lip and couldn't help but smile. "Are we trying to keep out slugs or trolls?" I joked bu the glare from his face smacked the smile right off.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: "It's a well known fact that salt hides us. Trolls hate salt because they... I actually don't know. Why salt?"
I looked to Johnny and sighed; whatever it was, we still should get to salt spreading.
Robin: As I found myself chewing my lip ever so slightly, I took a seat on the sofa and sighed; so we were kinda trapped in the house. Great. I had homework to do. Maybe the teacher would let us off of this.
"So, what do you suggest that we do fellas?" I asked, flicking on the TV before cussing, "Look."
On the screen was a reporter riding a dragon giving an aerial report on the town. Okay, I swear this isn't Fox News, is it? They're hiring dragon riders? If I wasn't in a life or death situation then I probably would be laughing right then...or trying to get a dragon somehow.
"Would a book that I've stolen help at all?" I asked, pulling out my school bag from beside the sofa with a smile; the one that I stole from the shop to be exact.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I felt my eyes grow wide and I backed away from the book holding my head. Words and noises filled my head and started to shout, then scream. None of it was understandable but I could catch a few words that translated themselves in my head. I shouted against the voices and shook my head. "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!Make it stop!! MAKE IT STOP!" I screamed.
Johnny: I ran down the stairs having finished salting averysingle entrence in record breaking time, it was magic that sped me up not really hard to guess anyway. I was technically in 'hunting mode' something my ansesters used while in battle or trying to get lunch, to me it was just a perk to being an elf. I ran to Molly and then looked at Robin, she had opened the book. "Close it! Close it now!" I shouted over Molly's screaming.

THE ZEBRA'S BACK!
Robin: Upon slamming the book shut, I put it down on the sofa and sighed, "So...the book's off limits then, eh?"
I poked it before looking at them again, not really knowing why that happened but more importantly why I wasn't screaming in pain etcetera and so on, not that I was complaining.

Yuppers...
Molly: As the voices stopped I curled into a ball and cried, so loud and so painful. I closed my eyes tightly and tried to clear my mind of the excess words that still floated around aimlessly in my head.
Johnny: I sighed and stood looking around. " The book must trigger the sight that Molly got upon knocking the door, the trigger also unleashes the barrier that protects the book from those with the sight. Clever but nasty. Now the salt, salt for some reason is like a sacred omen of sorts. It protects, seals, and hides things." I said smiling grimly.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Robin: I just nodded before sighing, "Then does that mean that someone else can open this?"
I bit my lip and looked at Molly before standing up next to her. I never could get why she was such a damn wuss.
"Don't make me kick you," I sighed, punting her with the end of my shoe, "I will."
Most would say that I was being insensitive at the moment, but honestly I always treated Mols with tough love; it helps her get used to the rela world when your best mate is a cruel heartless witch.

Molly: I got up groaning and glared at Robin only to gape at the tv as the reporter spoke while riding a dragon. I looked at the book then at everyone's faces. "I'm not touching that thing. Unless theres some counter curse or someother magic crap that makes the voices go away there is no way I'll touch it." I said crossing my arms and taking a stubborn stance.
Johnny: I ran a hand through my hair dislodging the carefully done hair style that hid my ears from the world, exposing them. I rubbed my temples and sighed. "I have to think about that one, there has to be some sort of counter curse. I just have to rmemeber it.." I said.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: I felt it was the time for me to pop up with the answer.
"It is...this one," I sighed, pressing a few keys on my phone, "There's an app for that."
I chucked the phone to Johnny before taking Robin's seat.
Robin: "You don't have to love," I sighed, sitting next to Molly on the floor, "just next time cover your ears... What actually happened then anyhoo?"
As much as I cared for my best friend's welfare, I also needed to know incase I got it at some point the same.

Molly: I whimpered. "It's not like I can cover my ears, it is inside my head, thousands of voices yelling in thousands of languages. You can't hear but you can't help not hearing a few words here and there most of them nonsense but all of them are screamig and shouting.." I said shaking.
Johnny: I looked at the phone increduosly. "You have an app for counter curses?" I asked.
Johnny: I looked at the phone increduosly. "You have an app for counter curses?" I asked.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Fergie: I simply shrugged, "There's an app for everything nowadays. Plus it's more than counter curses. It's got quite a few things on there; that's just a small section of it."
It was true; iPod were seriously expanding their wares and although it was quite an expensive buy, it seemed like it could be useful at one point.
Robin: "It could be different people that have had the sight. Mwahahaha."
I lightly punched her arm before standing again, trying not to lose my balance in the heels... That was a point.
"You guys want something to drink?" I asked as I flicked off my shoes, "I'm getting something myself so..."

Molly: I shook my head and walked over to the couch letting the pillows cover me so I was in a fort like scenario.
Johnny: I shrugged and checked the phone sure enough there the counter curse was. "I"ll be damned... There is.." said with a laugh. I walked over to the book and sat beside it. "Hum Ocalo trigalo snet cluo jesy ploy." I chanted three times as the instructions on the phone said.
Almost insanely the book fell open.

Fergie: I leapt off of the sofa with the book falling to the floor. The spell that was open seemed rather useful at least.
"Seems somewhat good," I sighed, showing Johnny the book, "How's about it?"
Robin: I sighed and, kneeling next to the sofa, "Mols, are you okay m'dear? I'm starting to think that my love a la tough wasn't the best choice for you... Do you want me to make you some hot cocoa?"

Molly: "No.. I'm fine.." I muttered burrowing deeper into my fort.
Johnny: I read the spell, a simple shielding one but useful, it would keep us unreadable unless we left the house. By now that troll would've shared our scents to others, don't ask me how I don't know, and they'd be looking for us too. A hunting trick that gave trolls great hunting abilities, it was why most of them in human form got jobs as detectives or cops. I sighed and read the instructions for the spell, it was a read and recite one, easy enough. "Sah derr clah de newr behdeli chastilo cleh." I said carefully.
