Journey : I smirk to myself when I notice Ian sitting beside Norah. She looks thoughtful. I have to cover my mouth when he 'surreptitiously' drapes his arm behind Norah's head.
"So...guitar player, huh?" he asks her. I turn away and thank Vitolio as he drops off the pizzas.

"Mmm-hm." I said, uncomfortable with the decreased proximity between us. He wasn't even trying to be casual when he draped his arm around my shoulders.

The pizzas came then, thankfully, so I used it as a distraction and took one of the biggest slices.

Journey : I shake my head, "Way to be subtle, Ian." he rolls his eyes over to me.
"You're just jealous." I laugh when he mocks a girls voice.
"Yeah. You can just hit him when he gets to...annoying," I say to Norah, picking off the pinneapple on my slice of pizza and popped them in my mouth.

I smiled, focusing on the pizza. I bit off a little bit on the end and...

"Oh my god." I said, my eyes as round as saucers. The delicious juices poured into my mouth, blending into one brilliant symphony. Moaning in delight, I took another, much larger bite.

"You were right." I mumbled, my voice muffled from the amount of food I had in my mouth at that moment. Swallowing, I continued. "This is the best pizza ever."

Noelle : I stare at him. My heart pounded against my ribs. That was...that had to be...the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. I take in a deep shaky breath, not realizing I'd been holding it for so long. "I...Matt..." I press my lips together and have to think for a moment. I don't say anything, I just lie down beside him and wrap arms around his neck. I smile softly.
"Thanks. That...You mean a lot to me." I settle down against his chest, closing my eyes. "Your turn," I murmur after a few moments of silence.

Journey : Ian and I exchange a look. "What? You doubted me in the first place?" I sigh, faking rejection. But a smile soon spreads across my face. "One thing you need Norah, is that the Journey is always right," I grin at her as Ian laughs. I take my own bite of the pizza and lose myself in the deliciousness of it. No artificial nothing in this piece of heaven. I really need to get Noelle to bring me here more often.

I laughed a little at her joke, before taking a sip of my Pepsi.

"Coke or Pepsi?" I suddenly blurted out, but less than half of me regretted it. It was a serious question- the whole Coke of Pepsi rivalry between me and Hanna started back last summer, when we were tuning out instruments before the others showed up.

Hanna had a can of Coke next to her mic, which she paused to sip every once in awhile. I had a Pepsi in my hand, one of the many cases that were crammed in our mini fridge. Hanna was always saying I had an addiction, but I didn't care. Sweet, sweet Pepsi...

"How can you drink that stuff?" I asked, gesturing to her coke. "It's nasty."

Hanna turned to me, feigning disgust. "Norah! How could you say that. Coke has got to be the world's greatest creation."

"No way. Spray cheese and portable tv's won that prize by far."

"Nuh-uh. Ask anyone- Coke is the classic image that comes to mind when you think of soda."

"Is that a bet?"

"I think it is."

Journey : I have to think about that for a second. I mean, I hadn't even had a coke or pepsi in a long time. Coke gave me burps that happened as often as hiccups. Journey still teases me about it. I pull my hair back away from my face before letting it fall back to my shoulders.
"Eh, I'm more of a Ginger Ale fan," I shrug, then gesture to the tall glass of the soda as Vitolio's son sets it down in front of me. "Thanks Damani," I smile at him as he scurries off. I hear Ian snort.
"What?" I turn a glare at him. He gives me an incredulous look.
"Are you serious? That kid's got it bad for you, J," he shakes his head. I cross my arms over my chest.
"Whatever Ian." I snap.
He tilts his head back to Norah. "Pepsi and proud of it," he grins. I glance over at Damani. He's a sweet kid. But that's all he is. A kid. He's a year younger than me. And I don't like him like that. I've known him since he was just a little kid. It would just be awkward.

Matt: I chuckled. "I'm out of questions. Got any more?" I tried to make the moment more casual, slightly embarrassed. Thank God it was dark though, I felt my cheeks go a little red...

"Did you see that?" I grin as more start flying in all directions.

Noelle : I pause in my stargazing and turn my head to look over at him. I open my mouth to say something witty or something along the lines of witty, but I leave it, smiling to myself and continue with watching the hundreds of comets lighting up the night sky. I think about how it would be to date Matt. It was pretty easy, but what made me uncertain was the publicity. Matt wasn't jut anoter teenage boy, he had paparazzi all over him most of the time and I'm sure I'll have plenty if hate mail if our relationship goes public. I swallow hard. I got myself into this, I'm gonna have to deal with it.
Or figure out a way to end it.
I frown when that thought floats into mind. God, what have I gotten into?

Matt: I look to her too, and just study her for a few moments. I just breathe out in the end, placing my head on top of hers, and kissing her hair softly. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Like an inverted peach. Or not. Like a, like... Like I had swallowed a wig. Or not. I sighed. Like I was content. As if every one of these thoughts and emotions inside me were hugging me from the inside....

I'll just stick with content.

Noelle : I bite my lip, curling up against his side and relaxing into his arms. Hey, at least my lip was feeling well enough to be bitten. Yay. I follow the tail of a comet as it slowly travels across the sky. Much slower and bluer than the others. I close my eyes.

Let this last, I wish silently. When I open my eyes again, the comet is just starting to fade away.

I wanna ask him if he wished for anything, but I don't. I don't want to ruin this moment.
