Noelle : I purse my lips. "Um, no...not really. Just from hearing Journey play a few songs and on the radio." I look over at him. "Do you write your own lyrics? Or do you have one of those people that wrote it for you?" It was one of those things that bother me: musical artists that can't write their own music.

The pizza was so good, and it filled the hunger spot that had been gnawing at me for too long. The money I pocketed would be enough for breakfast tomorrow, then I'd be back on the road again. That reminded me...

I glanced down at my guitar, which rested against the table. It needed a good tuning, and a new capo wouldn't hurt. The paint job was starting to peel and so were the stickers of some of my favorite bands: The Beatles, Josh Radin, Paper Release, The Paper Route...but I loved it all the same. It had character.

I slouched a little in my seat, relishing the silence.
