Noelle: I smile, then wince. i guess no facial expressions for me again. I shrug. "Pwease?" i ask, pouting. ok, pouting? It doesn't hurt so much! i break into a small smile and open my arms for him to pick me up. i just wanted him to hold me again. i know, i'm just terrible.

Journey: I set the water on the tray that sits in front of him and sit back down in my chair, sipping at the water. hey, it was pretty good too.

Noelle: I smirk, then jump up into his arms, wrapping my own around his neck. I rest my cheek against his shoulder again and close my eyes. so worth it.

Journey: "Hey, you didn't hear me out there, did you?" I ask suddenly, freezing.

Noelle: i feel something cold and metal brush against my leg. I lift my head and look down. It's that necklace that i found at the beach. I carefully reach down and pluck it out of his pocket. "You kept this?" i ask him quietly.
