Matt: I stare at her for a breif moment, but blink quickly. "Uh, yeah, yeah." I say, walking up the ramp towards the hospital I open the door for her. "After you, miss." Well that was unexpected. Very, very unexpected. I shake my head once more, trying to rid myself of those thoughts, but can't. I bite my lip. What now?

Noelle: When i get back inside, the nurse girl barely gives me a second glance. "Um, i need to go..get some stitches," i say to her. she blinks at me.
"You'll have to take a number."
Are you freaking kidding me?!
I sigh, "Fine. gimme a number."

Matt: "Hi there Riley." I go right up to the counter, leaning on it but making sure I know where my keys are. "You see, my uh, little sister here needs treatment immediately, and if you can just bump us to the top, I'll repay you." I smiled, meaning by money in my head, not realising how that could be misinterpretted... "So how's about that?"

[lily "the author" hanna]

Noelle: I gag a little -- not too much, don't want to attract too much attention -- as she smiles this creepy little half smile at him. "Sure. just go on to room 2a. i'll have the doctor check in on you in a second." she says.

Riley: I knew he wasn't dating her.

Matt: I rejoin Noelle, who gives me a look. "What?" I ask, walking down the corridor that she pointed towards.

Noelle: I just shake my head and keep walking. boys. i give him a sidelong glance and smile a little. you gotta love them. sometimes.

Matt: "This looks like it." Before us stands a white door with 2a stenciled on the front. I open the door and the room looks pretty empty. "You know, I don't really like that Riley girl. She's too much of a pushover." I state.

[lily "the author" hanna]

Noelle: I nod, walking past him and plopping down on the bed. i stretch my legs out and fold my arms behind my head. ah..they have pretty decent beds here.
I look back to Matt. "That's terrific. Glad you felt like you needed to tell me that," I smile over at him in amusement. "But whatever," i say with a slight shrug. I turn my head so that i can face the window. it was raining now. i just love watching the patterns that the rain drops make as they slide down the glass...and the sound. i think about getting up to open the window. just a little.

Matt: I look through the window, following her gaze. "What are you looking at? I don't see anything..." Only grey. I frown at the little glass pane, confused.

Noelle: I turn back to face Matt. "Nothing. Just..thinking," i add thoughtfully as i watch him. maybe i shouldn't have kissed him. i mean, don't bands go on tour and stuff? that would mean he wouldn't be around all the time..and.. I close my eyes and force that thought away.
"Hey, I'm sorry about kissing you earlier. I mean, if you..or, if it...made things...complicated," i say, opening an eye and peeking at him.

Matt: "Oh, so you regret it?" I ask. I should really keep my mouth closed. It tends to provide perfect weather conditions for awkward situations. "I mean, it was no big deal. Don't worry, I mean, you know, I'd forgotton about it already." I lied, trying to make her feel better, though it probably hadn't worked...

[lily "the author" hanna]

Noelle: I stare at him. "Well...if that's the way you feel.." i trail off. i look back out the window. but then Journey's words come to mind. should i tell him how i feel? But he just said... I decide to tell him the truth.
"Matt," i start, looking back to him. "I...I don't regret anything I've done with you the past few hours. I've actually...really enjoyed myself." i smile a little, then it fades a bit. "and i really like you. i mean, a lot." i swallow hard and look at the ground. "God, i suck at this don't i? Look, i don't usually date guys. or, even like them as much as i like you, so, i'm new at this...sharing feelings, thing." i grimace and look back up at him.
"But i get it if you don't like me like that. I've had plenty of guys like that," i mutter to myself. "So it's nothing new. i just...just wanted to get that out there." I clear my throat. he opens his mouth to say something after a long moment of silence. so, of course, that means the doctor has to walk in. stupid hospitals. hey! and it's Mr. I-was-sticking-my-tongue-down-that-one-nurse's-throat-earlier-too.

Matt: "Hey, uh, she cut her lip or something, so yeah. Stitches and stuff I'm assuming." I shrugged, wanting so much for him to just leave.

Theo: My eyes flash open. Well that was a weird dream. We were playing a gig on a rollercoaster, but then we had to stop the ride because Harlie wanted to dye his hair tips blue. And then the rollercoaster exploded behind everyone and nobody cared or moved. Oh well.

Noelle: I think Doc recognized me because his eyes widened just the slightest.
"oh...um, it doesn't look that deep to me," he leans in fractionally and squints. "Here, i'll just disinfect it and then you can leave, i'm sure," he mumbles, pulling out some cleaner. i frown. way to ruin it Doc. i look over at Matt. he won't look at me.

Journey: I raise a brow down at Theo. "Ah, and Fifi--i mean, Theo, awakes," i smile sheepishly. "Hey, you doing ok?" i ask him gently.

(Well, I could have killed him, but I didn't think Journey would appreciate that...)

Matt: I bit my lip, but turned to the doctor. "Right, can you properly diagnose her now?" I ask. "This isn't like the little doctor set you play with at home. This is real life." I snap. Maybe I shouldn't have done that... But people need to treat her with respect in this place. That's the one thing I hate about people in hospitals. They always seem to think that they're better. They're so patronising!

Noelle: i cast a look over at Matt. What the hell is he doing?
The doctor looks over at Matt. "She really is fine." he says lightly, a little surprised. He turns back to me with a wet cotton ball. he dabs at my lip. i grimace. ouch! god..stupid..
"here," he hands me another dry cotton ball, "use this if it starts bleeding. it's not very deep, so you should be good now," he smiles tightly before hightailing it out of the room. I press the cotton ball to my lip. Jeez...freakshow..

Matt: "Sorry..." I mumble. "I lost a little control just then..." I sigh, pushing the skin together on my forehead. "Need help with that?" I ask softly.

Theo: My eyes readjust to the light, and I look up sharply. "Journey?" I whisper. What was she doing at the apartment?

Noelle: I barely manage a shrug. "Nah, i'm good." i mumble around the cotton ball. he's just being nice to lighten his blow from earlier. or maybe not...i glance up at him. i can't tell.

Journey: I take his hand and squeeze it. "Yeah...it's me," i say, a little embarrassed. I hope he didn't think i was stalking him or anything like that..
