I stalked back to the first class of the day, power control, the usual teacher sat at the desk, grouchily marking more papers (cant remember name lol)
My new stalker/secret daemon followed silently behind me, I really still had no idea how he had managed to mask his appearence like he had. It was strange looking at him, knowing he really had the dark grey skin and thick crust of bone on his neck. However his human form, or should I say elf, was rather delightful with his cute shaggy black hair.

As usual the class which hadn't really began yet was filled with students flitting around their powers. I quickly took a spare seat near the back, it seemed today anyone sat where they wanted. My stalker Tray stood in the doorway, seeming a little lost. I sighed, was I going to have to show the damn daemon around? It was bad enough he made me feel chills scatter through my body just thinking about what he really was. Especially as I had no idea why Ruben had 'given' him to me as body guard.
I hope someone else shows him around. I silently muttered, my second day as an elf and I had already gotten myself in to some big trouble I have no idea about.

How long has it been since everything happened aka Silver dying, that other girl dying, Rachel meeting Ruben etc...?

Styler slipped into the room around an old looking guy-elf; class hadn't started yet so he was good but he was slightly worried about the fact that Silver was a Wood Elf not a Storm Elf like he was.
"He still following ya?" he pointed at her stalker, "I could probably shove him off if you wanted to."
He looked at her and realised that she seemed rather stressed. Carefully, he put a hand on her shoulder and peeped into her eyes, "Are you okay?"

erm I think about a day ?

hmm? I pulled out of my frowning to look at silver who was surprisingly infront of me, "Am I okay?" I said to myself, repeating what I heard her say to make sure I got it right. "I'm... as good as I can be at the moment, I guess" I sighed.
I was probably dealing with the daemon a little better than anyone else would. Maybe because I only knew they existed a few months ago, never mind fearing or hating them my whole life like most of the students here.

"What's up?" she sat down in the desk infront of her even though it wasn''t her own. Balancing her head on her fists upon Rachel's, she peered at her and smiled, "What's going on on Planet Rae?"
A slight laugh escaped her lips as she seemed a little shocked from her little addition of concern, something that neither Silver or Styler would ever do but then again this girl didn't know her like he did.

I smiled awkardly, "Things" my eyes flickered towards Tray then back again to Silver, Tray was watching us out of the corner of his eye. Could he hear me? Ruben hadn't technically told me not to say anything about him, but then again, I probably wouldn't listen if he did.
But I don't think telling people right now would be a good thing, I want to know why Tray is here first.
"Its just... I'm feeling a little stressed... you know with the daemon attack and everything. I just didnt expect something like that to happen, I suppose you could say I never actually thought I'd see a Daemon" I told her the truth in sorts.

"Fair enough," he shrugged, "To be honest I'd rather see a Daemon then Styler, that guys just...freaky," he shook his head and looked down as he straightened out the front of his shirt, he was going to have to get used to breasts and sitting down to pee now.
His eyes trailed to the guy in the doorway, his suspicion rose; he didn't seem to be...elven somehow despite the pointy ears and height. Styler decided that had to just be Silver's freak-out instinct that she naturally had; an annoying thing for someone who on the inside was a right rebel.

I smiled "Yeah but he was your brother all the same" I sighed as Kai strolled into the class room, a lolly pop in his mouth, hands tucked into is pockets. His raised his lips into a grin when he saw me, strolling over.
"Morning girls" he said sauntering up to us, straight past Tray who moped quietly leaning on a wall.
"Morning Kai" I smiled as my foster brother settled down in a seat he pulled up beside us both sitting with his legs over the chair backwards.
"So tell me, how are you both this fine morning" he pulled out his lolly pop.

"But a right cock at that," he shook his head and laughed, "Nah, true but I'd rather have yours... Speak of the devil..."
He smiled as he walked past, he knew that Silver kinda had a small crush on him, that was why he reacted in the way he did. Crap, he was turning into her quicker than you can say 'prejudice people' which for someone who can't even say 'criminal' was a huge bother.
"Getting used to things," he said vaguely but truthfully looking at the guy with a nod, "You?" he battered his eyelids slightly as he looked past her old conversational partner.

"Im feeling up to a good scrap with Everheart again, where ever he may be." Kai smiled "Killing those daemons yesterday has left me pumped for more!" he laughed twirled the lolly pop.
I couldn't help but notice as Tray frowned at his comment, what did he expect in a school of elves?
I'd had enough. Standing up I left Silver and Kai without a word walking up and past Tray right out of the classroom door. I didnt care about the strange looks I got, I didn't even care about how the teacher shouted at my back leaving his site. As I expected, Tray followed me obediantly like a love struck puppy.

"Looks like you're stalker's moved on..." he laughed.

"stalker?" Kai raised his eyebrows at Silvers comment, confused to Rachels silent leaving.

"That guy, the one that was in the doorway," she nodded towards it and sighed, "For some reason he keeps on following her, I have no idea why he just does, but I don't think he's elven or human... I think he's something darker..." he looked at him and blushed slightly, "But that's just what I think..."
After the teacher finally got the computer up and running she/he (I can't remember, this all happened whilst I was away) up riot on Rachel's leaving. To be honest it was funny watching them get hot and flustered.

"Something darker? and you say hes following her?" Kai frowned, worry setting in though he knew he shouldn't jump to conclusions about the matter.
He couldn't be a daemon Kai thought, he didnt have the appearence. So he musn't worry, though should he?
Kai shook his head, his brown hair falling around his eyes. The teacher flustered shouting the signal for us to finally mess around and practice our powers individually, he never did enjoy teaching.
"Well, as were here do you want to fight? I hear your an earth user" Kai grinned, he hadn't fought an earth user before, and was interested in how much is fire would have an effect or not.

"Yeah, well..." he rubbed the back of his head and sighed, "A weird thing happened earlier, Styler...did something and now I kinda control the weather, I dunno if I can still do all the earth stuff anymore," he wasn't lying, he was telling 100 percent the truth, just that it was so much more complicated as he first thought.
With a sigh, he felt the trees waver outside though he wasn't sure if it was just the wind whipping around him. Lifting a hand, the flowers on the side seemed to explode out of it's pot, the stem wrapping around the ceiling.
"I'll take that as a yes then," he smiled. As he did the sun grew bright outside, a signal to his happiness, "Let's go."

"Weather?" Kai paused, Styler was a storm elf, maybe if he could practice with silver he would be more able to fight Styler the next time he saw him. He would pay him back for killing his brother all those years ago.
Kai grinned excited, creating a ball of fire in his palm "bring it" he said standing to move to the arena joint to the classroom. It wasn't safe to fight with their powers in a classroom.

"Fine," he smiled as the arena's top grew thick with clouds, the rain instantly tipping down, "I'll try not to make it so hard..." he built up a huge bounty full of trees around them creating a make-shift gate around them. The wind howled around the pair as the trees copied it's cry; he wasn't going to go eash on him.
Sending a wave of wind, he took the fireball out of his hand as it was put out by the rain; a little test. Teaming earth and weather was going to be a good experience, something that he was completely glad of having a chance to do this.

Kai grinned, time to use his skill, he try not to go all out at first. bracing his arms they set alight with flames up to his elbows, his skin and shirt unharmed. He then cast a stretch of it over his head like his own fire cloud protecting him from the rain as it evaporated on the constant intense heat of the fire.
outstretching his arms and keeping his palms forward he then shot beams of flames at the trees setting them into a burning light, slowing burining to ash.
Easy does for first moves Kai thought then creating three round blue fire balls circling them in the air like he was juggling with one hand, waiting for Silver.

With a smirk, they were surround with a deep fog, something that you couldn't see past your nose in. The earth felt for Kai and grabbed his feet, toppling him over. As the rain poured, he was held down, the water level slowly rising as the roots prevented the water to escape, it alao made it so fire was useless right now. Lightening struck the ground pure metres away from him, sending a tree toppling over, making it's way to hit Kai right on the chest to crush him. Styler didn't get the meaning of 'playing' nice'.

Kai cussed, he had wanted to only fight with his power, but it seemed he needed to bring out the big guns. He drew the crystal sword Alice had given him back when fighting the daemons, drawing it he cut in a single slice through the tree roots wrapped around his feet rolling in the water out of the way of the falling tree. Only just barely missing it, though it did catch his shirt ripping it down his right side.
he cussed again, he liked that shirt.
Now he had to bring out the big guns, water was still rising but so long as he stayed out of it he would be fine. Setting his crystal sword of fire, the crystal making the flames appear white, Kai roared a battle cry charging at Silver, however, without her noticing holding the sword with his left hand he swiped his right creating a fire wave impermable to the rain pouring on it straight for Silvers stomach.
an extra troublesome matter to avoid for her. If she could as fire moved faster than the rain fell.

Creating a torando as a shield, it sucked up the fire, cascading it into the air into a spiral of its own, an easy thing for the rain to put out. As he did, only about half of the white roaring flames got taken, the other half sending her flying to the nearest tree, the flames burning the clothes that he wore leaving just a cinged pair of jeans and the ribbons of a vest. Great.
Looking at the sky, it started to snow, a single flake at a time. A smile grew on his face as it landed in his hand. Happily, he watched the rest gently cascade down. As he moved his hand a down ball of the white stuff landed on Kai completely submerging him. With a smile, she drew up a new tornado that brought him up in the air, slamming him on the ceiling. Standind beneath him, the wind held him up high as he waited for a reaction, the one that he knew he was gonna do to get him to win this fight.

Kai's body cascaded into the ceiling, he winced at the pain, only to grin immensly, he hadn't been this tied up in a fight before, it was thrilling.
"Not bad Silver" he called loudly so she could hear. "But not good enough" he beamed ruptoring his body covering himself head to toe in a blasting shield of unstoppable fire. He roared at the strain of energy that it took for him to blast fire from his back in a stronger force than the wind holding him up. The fire blast pushed him back down to the floor, though he fell rather clumsily face first. Laughing he pushed himself up, if this was Styler he would be pissed as hell. But this was a friendly fight.
Kai stood brushing off some dirt drawing his sword, leaning in on his shoulder in a casual lazy way. "This is fun no?" he smirked happily enjoying this, still covered head to toe in powerful flames.

Anger. Boiling. Rage!
"I guess Kai," he drew the Katana that he had by his side, a smile as it glowed a mysterious mix of navy and green, "We'll see."
Raising his sword, it caught the glint of the sun, his own blade bursting into flames as hot as the sun itself. The vines around him died as the heat grew intense yet neither broke a sweat.
"I think this will be enough now class!" the teacher called as he clapped his hands.
No one else in the class looked like they even tried, then there was Styler and Kai with ripped clotning and flaming blades staring at each other of the burning rage in their eyes.
"Silver! Kai! Hault!" they walked out into the middle and snapped his fingers, the heat and fog instantly dispersing, the power-sucking ceiling and walls of the dome proved useful from that point.
"End of class!"

Kai pouted "Aww come on sir, it was just getting good" he turned of the flames anyway, his clothing unburnt, though his shirt useless he decided to rip it off entirely. stretching out his muscles which felt a little cramped after hitting the ceiling.
"Another time eh silver?" he felt pleased with the quality of the fight sheathing his sword again, ruffling silvers white hair joyfully as he walked past her, arms stretched over his head, his muscles rippling at the movement.

"Sure, but don't touch the hair!" she yelled and sorted it back out, "It takes ages to do..."
He watched as he left, himself happy that he had a free period next, maybe he could find that girl from earlier?
Setting sigh, he picked up the coat and draped it over himself, glad that it covered all the burn-holes.
"This will be harder than I first thought..." he muttered to himself as he slipped outside to Rachel's and his room to change.

I'm tired, I'm gonna head to bed

JUST A NOTE! I probably won't be on for the weekend due to internetless house in France grrrr but I'll be back possibly on Sunday, we'll have to see how ot flows...

Rachel:

I walked far away from the room, falling to a crumple on the floor my head leaning on a wall in the hallway when I thought I had walked far enough.
Tray slowed his pace as I did, stopping to look at me sideways, his eyes studying me.
"Why are you really here?" I asked sighing, I wanted to go home, back to the times when I had a familly still, when everything was normal and human.
Tray looked away, frowning "I told you already, you can know in time" he answered.
"In time? Why can't I know now?"
"Because..." he hesitated clearly unsure how to answer "You are not ready yet"
I closed my eyes, not wanting to be here.
"You mean, because Ruben said so?" The words fell from my mouth, I wasn't thinking much anymore.
Silence overwhelmed me, neither of us spoke, I must have been right I guess. Eventually opening my eyes I jumped a little as Tray was crouching down beside me, looking up at the sky through a window.
"Yes, I do as Ruben says.... as do most daemons" Tray quietly told me, the first information I had gained in a while.
"Why?" my brain was buzzing with questions today.
"Because" was his only answer, I guess I was asking for too much.
"Do you enjoy.... following me around like this?" I whispered, of course he wouldn't. Again a momentary silence fell between us before he answered.
"It is my assignment, I will do as I must" he turned to face me this time, the same emotionless look in his eyes, as though he had no care for what he did in life. Which made me think as to why he didn't.
"H-how long have you lived for?" my nervousness began to return, this was a personal question after all. I was rather curious, for the first time his expression changed, I think it was slight surprise?
"A long time, I lost count long ago, though If I were to make an assumption, I would say around 260 years"
I blinked, surprised at his answer. I must seem like such a child to him.
