"No I haven't! Doing the dress alone is gonna take me hours! The masks are quick but they take skill and I have no idea what Jacko will wear!" she slumped down on the sofa, her hands on her head, glaring at the floor, "And loads of people are gonna be asking me where have I been these last nine years!"

Jacko: "I will wear anything," I assured her. Then the rest of her words caught my attention. "Freedom, are you known at court?" We all had to be anonymous, that was how we were going to pull this off.

I look at him, my eyes darkening at the thought of my father. "Thank you." I say, still with a formal tone to my voice. Thinking of my father the frown etches on my face,thinking that maybe he would show at the masquerade tomorrow. I pushed the thought from my mind.

Jacko: I nodded in reply to his gratitude. I would need to talk to Lorenna. I crossed to her door, just in case she was back. I opened the door and stuck my head in. The room was empty.
I sighed. She could be anywhere, doing anything. But why hadn't she come back? That would be the only way to ensure that she wouldn't get caught.
I shut the door and turned back around.

Lorenna: My stomach clenched. Sweat dripped down my neck. Tanner just sat there, staring at me. I edged away from him, fully aware of what I was sitting on. "I think I should go." Tanner shook his head.
"Can't let you, Lorenna," he said. I glanced at the door. I wouldn't make it anywhere with an injured leg. I slumped against the wall.
"I guess you would be able to stop me," I muttered. Tanner nodded.
"What do you want, Tanner?"

ive been thinking...we could work another character in, but i'm not sure how it could work. unless! you wanted your character to be at the masquerade.
our charries are planning a big heist that will take place at a masquerade ball. you could have a noble charrie who's at the ball.

I grimace lightly at the conversations around me. I had no problem with my accent, and I could still waltz from my lessons as a child. "Is there anything else you need me for Jacko?" I ask, my voice calm.
