Char: "Good, uh... Can you please lace me up?" I asked hopping over to him and turning around. The laces at the back of the dress tangled in my hands, so much for periferal vision.

Char: I sighed and sat down when he was finished. "Thank you, I always knot those up when I try to do them myself." I said. I fell back into the bed wanting to just go pain to sleep so my ankle would stop aching.

Jack got up, his back starting to scab over. "Do you want me to get you ice?" he asked again.

Char: I sat up and gave him a look. I got up slowly and tried to look as weak and as in pain as possible. "Sure, I'll just hop all the way down the stairs and across the east wing to the icebox and come back here to give you some ice....no probleme.." I said making my voice quiver at the right moments.

Jack smiled, "You're so convincing." he told her sarcastically. He left and came back momentarily and handed her a bag of ice.

Char: I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you going to change?" I asked noting his little blush with interest.

He slipped the pants on over his boxers. And buttoned the shirt up over his chest. He rolled the sleeves. "I'm changed." he announced.

Char: "Let me announce this to the media..." I joked. I turned my head to him and resisted the urge to sigh, he looked way too good in red.

Char: I winced and slowly balenced on one foot. "Shall we go eat?" I said weakly. I paled a bit at the thought of stairs but what else could I do?

Char: I wieghed both ideas in my mind for the efficientcy. "No, I shall hop. Either way its too much of a trouble for you or the servent that would have to help." I sighed I didn't want to be trouble, well I did sometimes but not at this particular moment.

Char: I looked incredulosly at him. "With a hurt back? I think not! I can manage perfectly fine by myself." I say becoming stubborn. I started to hop out of the room slowly but surely.

Jack grabbed her hand, "It's scratched, not broken." He said. He lifted her off her fit, he felt the wound opening but hid the pain. He walked her down the stairs.

Char: I felt his muscles strain and I winced for him. "Stop and put me down." I insisted, "I don't want you to hurt yourself. Really, please?"

Jack being stubborn, did not put her down. "I'll be fine." he assured, as he reached the bottom of the stairs.
