A crowd of doctors and nurses raced down the hall and Nikki heard the words: Mat, stopped and heart together and leapt up.

Nikki raced down the hall, already knowing where the flayline beep was coming from. She was stopped at Matt's door. "I'm sorry miss you can't go in there." the woman said and Nikki's eyes filled with tears.

"Hospital proceedure." the woman replied firmly. Nikki sighed. "Fine." she said and leaned against the wall/

1 hour later...

The doctor came out writing down on his clipboard. "Time of death... 1:38"
Nikki's eyes widened and tears matted her lashes as she raced out and ran straight past Gabe, tears rolling off her cheeks in waves.

Gabe looked in shock, he had lost another gang member, another family member. He didn't know what to do. "Damn you all." He said, flicking his wrist so they would know he meant business.

Gabe found Nikki, he was about to break every rule he had ever created. He knelt down beside her, and pulled her into a hug.

Nikki felt comforted by his embrace and sobbed into her chest her body shaking every time. "H-he was only 15!" she cried miserably.

Gabe picked her up, and drove her to his house. He set her on his bed, and slept on the couch. Dreading her reaction when she woke up.
