I ran. Tears ran down my face, but still I ran. I didn't stop until the moon had flown, and the sun was just peeking over the horizon. When I returned home the last mourners had left, and finally the house was quiet. I packed my father's weapons, and all the food we had. Then, waving a kiss towards his grave, I started walking.
I hoped to go to Aviv, our largest city, and enrol in the Weapons Academy. In this small town it would be ludicrous for a girl to fight, but we received reports of women graduating from the Academy all the time. I knew I was good, my only fear is whether or not I'd be good enough.

What I didn't know then could had saved me so much trouble, perhaps even my life. The Weapons Academy was made to train young adults to fight to the death in The Games. What was considered an honor to those who had grown up around the palace, seemed like insanity to me.

Personality: Young but wise, knows her way around her weapons, doesn't trust easily but when you crack through her cold shell she'll be loyal and kind. Sarcastic but knows when to stop. Easily angered.
Appearance: Long chestnut hair, pale, tall, piercings, indigo eyes.
Weapon(s):(No guns) twin daggers, twin dirks, short staff.
Bio: Grew up with a family of fighters, her parents died in the Games. Her older brother is a warrior and is one of the best. He is her idol and she wants to be better than him. Winning is all that matters to her. The Academy taught her her selfish ways to stay alive, and so have become more hardy and a better warrior... Or at least they say.

I stood panting, the point of my sword resting on the dusty dirt road. Staring up at the city walls I asked myself again, "Was this all worth it?" I guess it was time to find out. Bandits were everywhere, and I'd had to fight them on many occasions since I left home. Whether it was luck, skill, or a mixture of both I had made it, finally. Stepping out of the ring of dead and injured outlaws, I startd towards the walls for the last time.

Freedom: I stood on the top of the wall keeping look out for those blasted bandits. My bow in hand, I aimed at one of them coming up behind a girl fighter. I struck him down in one.

Arin:

At the tale-tale whisper of an arrow, I dove for cover, and strung my bow.

Freedom: I looked around... She was gone. I put in other arrow as I scaled down the large wall. I pulled up my daggers.

I dashed from one tree to another, staying undercover while someone climbed down the wall.

Tania: I watch from the infirmary smiling recognized them both

Arin:

I made a mad dash for the gate, and, after a word with the guards, I slipped in. Finally I had gotten to Aviv.

Freedom: I shrugged and went back inside.

I found a cheap place to stay the night, and the next morning I headed straight for the Academy.

Tania: I knew they were coming to the academy. I have been here for a week due to injury

alena: a night of sleep i started off to academy with my whip my favortie weapon

Arin:

Stepping through the large oaken doors, I took a deep breath, and banished my nerves.

alena: as walk to the oaken doors i saw a girl that i haven't see before enter them before me

Arin:

I looked around me in wonder, slowing the progress of people going in and out. I couldn't care.

alena:" new to the academy?" i ask the girl whos looking around

Arin:

"Yeah," I said, "Is there any place I need to sign in or something?"
