Lupus landed in a forest clearing somewhere far off, as far as a dragon could be seperated from their human.
I didn't mean to offend you, Lupus, Tarrant thought to his dragon, It's just, you've got no right to be mean to a dragon before it hatches. You don't know what it'll be like until it's born.
I know enough, the dragon replied, his voice rumbling through Tarrant's head, To know that good will be hard to get out of the egg. It's bred for destructiveness.

Its more than a scar. Deegan thought, Its the only reason I can talk to you.
Keegan smiled, although he and his dragon were sarcastic, and both had sass, they had a unique relationship. It was legendary in their homeland, but here it just seemed insane.
A tiny teenage boy like Keegan, and huge dragon that was bigger than most like Deegan Fahy was an odd pairing and everyone knew it. They just never openly pointed it out.
Keegan knew he was accepted here, so he was glad. He found a place where he belonged.

Sapphire: "please tell your dragons to think a little nicer of me, yes i was blessed with hearing their thoughts even when their not talking to me." i said remembering far to cear the last day of the queen golden dragon, she granted me that gift.

Tarrant looked at the girl. "How far off can you hear them?" he wondered aloud.

[Charlie]

Keegan turned to the girl rather pissed, "Most people would have the kindness, not to read other peop... er dragon's thoughts." his scars turned a searing red, the tended to reflect his mood. He crawled with some trouble on to Deegan's back, "Mountains, seems good right now." I said. Deegan nodded, they were going to his temporary nest.

Sapphire: 400 miles at the most I thought " A cople miles." i said hoping they couldent read me. " and i cant help it its not like i can turn it on an off, but if your going to be so rude I will leave you to worry over my DRAGON EGG." i said as i turned sharply and walked away.

Keegan thought girls were over dramatic. He didn't like people hearing him talk about his mark. "Some of like to have private conversations." His voice projected towards her. He might be small, but he was quite loud.

Sapphire: " YA WELL ITS NOT LIKE I ASKED FOR IT OK BISSY BOY! IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY THE QUEEN!" I screamed back tears glowing down my cheeks again.

queen shmeen, Keegan thought to himself. You're blessed by a queen, doesn't mean you can act all high and mighty. Act like your better than everyone.
Keegan, I know she is being rude and stuck up, and stubborn. But be nice.
"She can here you, our conversations aren't private." Keegan said.
Then let her learn how to control her power, let her listen. She will have to learn how to keep secrets.
Keegan hated when Deegan was right, but they kept flying towards the mountains.

(Well, basically Thegifted's character came in and there was a huge ruckus over her dragon egg. All the other dragons present thought it was some sort of evil, Golden Drake egg. Keegan and Deegan flew off to the mountains, an Lupus got offended and flew off somewhere without Tarrant.)

(wait I thought only dragons could communicate with other dragons, and the humans they were bonded to. No exceptions.)

((I skimmed over the posts and there were a few things I noticed.
1. There are very few dragon/rider pairs. In fact every one of them is found at this school.
2. A paired dragon spends their entire lives with their rider- never living anywhere else. However, there is no physical bond that stops them from leaving. Before they hatch, they retain knowledge from the world around them.
3. No one else has ever bonded with dragons. It's new.))

Beka's Sky Dragon suddenly reared. She had been silent the entire time the others had been discussing the golden egg. The only thing Beka could get out of her was a sense of foreboding.
Trumpeting to the roof of the world, she shook her tremendous head, finally letting Beka in.
Belyĭ heard Sapphire's thoughts as well as the person they were intended to. The dragon felt intruded on, as another human listened to her thoughts.
With all the great, but sporatic, power of the warm-blooded lizards, she blocked both her own mind and Beka's from outsiders.

Genna: I held the tiny lizard close to my dress. I had just named him Dimitry, he seemed to like it. I rode my horse to the school yard, I needed answers. The professor here seemed to know alot, maybe he'd know what my little Dimitry was.

Sapphire: I ran into the trees and found a rock and broke down in tears. Why did every dragon do this to me, exept the golden ones?

Deegan swooped back and landed in the court yard again.
"What happened to the mountains?" Keegan asked.
You have no friends at home, so you need to make friends here. Deegan explained, watching Keegan angrily roll his eyes.
