Re: Artist's Retreat
okay!
Aj: It took me forever to get back because-remember my whole plan with the red hat thing?-yeah my hat thing didn't work. SOOOO...I ended up just walking back the way i thought I came. It took me an hour. Or more. I'm not exactly sure. It's not like I brought my phone with or anything, sheesh. Then my journey continues up stairs to where I have to get changed out of wet clothes and into dry ones. I relaxed in warm dry clothes on my bed for a few minutes before I remembered dinner.
Now I'm hurrying downstairs to eat. What a day.

Crux: "Yeah, it really is good work. The company's called Street Starz, it's really good and it would be amazing to have you come down," I smiled, "The kids are really great too and we're always looking for volunteers and staff."
Andi: I sigh and watch as the girl from the creek came running down the stairs. Should I call to her? I sighed, "Hey!" I called to her and did a little wave at her, half hoping that she'd see me, otherwise I'd look like an idiot, like usual...

Re: Artist's Retreat
Aj: I skid to a halt in the doorway. Ok...I thought dinner would just be us getting what we need and dispersing. Guess not. I wasn't really into the whole 'let's sit down and eat together as a family!' thing. Nor would I ever get used to it. I didn't really like eating in front of people anymore. I frown a bit, but look over at the girl I'd seen earlier. I wave a little back and walk over to her, looking anywhere else but at anyone who looked at me. Awkward...

Andi: Okay, we were the same on that front then; we were both shy and didn't do crowds... This might not be so bad... "Hey, I forgot to say, the name's Andi," I smiled at her behind my fringe, my fork poking about in the plate of lasagne infront of me.

Aj: I put on a half smile. "Right. Aj. Unless I already said that," I add outloud before sitting down quickly. Usually that would be an after thought in my head, but now it's starting to slip out my mouth. Not a good sign.

Jac: "Fantastic!" I say, remembering the name for later, "I'll definately stop by sometime, I haven't volunteers in forever." The last time being at the art museum about a year ago. "I wish I had more time for things like that. But lately Ive been so busy."

Andi: "Nah, you didn't," I sighed. Name beginning with 'a' with two syllables? Man this was gonna be annoying. I flicked the layers apart on my food, getting to the cheese bit, slowly scrapping it off onto my fork and eating that; it's a habit.
Crux: "Yeah? I'll hope to see ya there then," I smiled, cutting the food, "What have you been doing then? Getting tattoos?"

Re: Artist's Retreat
Jac: I nod, "That and work." I say, taking a bite of my food I wait til I swallow, "You reminded me, I invited a friend down here this monday. He's gonna do that tattoo for me. If your interested Im sure he wouldn't mind throwing in a second one for you." It was somewhat of a payback, for him touching up my art.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Crux: "You sure?" I raised an eyebrow, "I would but I've kinda got no cash..." I sighed, biting my lip. Street Starz didn't make a huge amount of cash, nothing that any entrepreneurs would be interested in anyway...

Re: Artist's Retreat
Aj: I only nod. The smell of the lasagna is so good. I haven't had real food like this in years! Broiled Salmon in a delicate 'insert fancy french term here' sauce is not a home cooked meal. Even if you have a personal chef. Noah isn't a bad cook, but he's under my parents influence, so i classify him as one of them.
(do they all have the same food o.o)

Jac: I raise a hand, waving it. "Totally fine, me and Tom used to work together, and he owes me a favor anyways." I'd helped him open his shop in the city, he'd payed me back since, but I still got free tattoos out of the deal

Re: Artist's Retreat
(@lily, no idea. @Charlie, yes, yes they are)
Andi: I sighed, okay, the nice bit aka the cheese sauce was all gone, now it was time for the pasta sheets. I cut them, well, tried to but they were as stiff as cardboard. I placed a bit in my mouth... And it tasted like that too. I screwed up my face and took it apart, okay, the meat then...
Crux: "If you're sure," I shrugged, I knew which one I wanted anyway and where. My forearm was the perfect place to have this Celtic design on there. Man, I really shouldn't get another, but then again I always except what's on offer, "Okay then, thanks."

Re: Artist's Retreat
Russ-
I looked at the girl who seemed hurt. "So where are you from?" She almost fainted again.
Lauren-
"Texas, you're from Ireland right?" I smiled. I adored Irish accents.

Jac: "Completely. And you'll love Tom, he's one of the best." I say, finishing off my food I sip my glass of water. "So do you do anything else other than street art?" I ask.

Russ-
"What do you do?" I asked, wishing we could join the other group.
Lauren-
"Dance, and draw." I replied rather sheepishly.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Aj: I pick up the fork and poke the lasagna, my eyes wide. It sure was real. I cut off a little corner and stabbed it with my fork, just watching it for a moment. I must look so weird doing this. Oh well. I place the corner of lasagna in my mouth and chew slowly. It tastes so good! The tomato sauce with all the spices, the cheese melting on my tongue, and just the residual flavor of the whole thing long after I'd swallowed it. This is what real food tastes like.
