Vivian: I smirk when Saffron smacks Ridge. Hey, he deserved it. Neva steps away from Ashe and side steps toward me.
"Um, i kinda need to drop my house to get my purse...maybe we could all just meet there, you know?" Neva puts in. Ashe shrugs.
"Yeah, i can give you a ride home. We'll see the rest of you there?" He raises his eyebrows and looks around at everyone. I nod in agreement.
"Sounds good to me. I'll probably just stop by the park near there and shoot some hoops while i wait for you guys--"
"Oh wow Viv, you're always doing that!" Neva rolls her eyes at me.
I shrug, "I gotta practice for tryouts when school starts."
Ashe steps in then, "Viv? You're good at basketball. Nev? Meet me by my car. are we clear?"
Ok, so Neva plays volleyball, and if you give us enough time - which isn't that long really - we'll start up a debate at which sport is better. We're very competitive friends, as you can see.
"Got it Ashe," i sigh. Neva just nods.

(should we have the races be over? Or just one more...)

Saffron: I grabbed a pepsi max from the vending machine, as well as a kitkat for later, after retrieving my purse from the announcer. I piled into Ridge's car, sighing. "Drive." I tell him, taking a swig of my pepsi.

Kato: "Hey, Ashe!" I call out. "Wait a sec!" I shouted, catching up with him. "Where did you say we were meeting?" I ask, catching up.

Ashe: I blink, noting it was Kato. "Oh yeah, down my Lake Park. Um...Rico's, i think? Yeah." I look over to where Neva is talking to a few other guys. I sigh. "We might be a little late. If you see Vivian, tell her Neva got a little...distracted," i roll my eyes and wave him off before jogging over to Neva and trying to get her to leave the boys she was talking to. Yeah, we'll be late.

Kato: Rory sighed, his gaze over to where Neva was. "Let's go!" I tell him, waving my hand in front of his face. "You wanted a lift, right?" his reply is just a jumbled mutter. "Yeah." he says eventually, and follows me out. "Can you make your own way to the afterparty?" I ask.
"My mum's dropping me off." he answered. Poor guy. We pile into my craphole of a car and i start the engine. "See you later!" I call.

(Btw, Rory would be about 16? )

Vivian: When I get there, I'm still the only one. So i walk over to where the courts are. My basketball is still there, so i scoop it up and begin shooting. First just a few free-throws, then lay-ups, then i practice pivoting. Last season I twisted an ankle while trying to get around someone. I was out for a few months. Apparently it was more than a twisted ankle. I'm a little hesitant even now as i pivot around and jump to shoot.
After a while, I start backing up. I try jogging across court and throwing a three-pointer. I don't get it the first few times - ok, the first 10 times. But I can tell I'm getting closer to getting it in. Then finally I get a good clean one. "Nothin' but net," I say to myself with a half smile.

Ashe: I turn again and wave to him before turning back to Neva. "Nev, remember, ice cream..?"
She snorts. "I don't eat ice cream," she shoots me a look. I take her by her elbow and start dragging her - almost literally - away from the group of college guys. She waves to them daintily before starting to walk by herself.
"You're such an older brother, you know that Ashe?" She complains. I let her go and walk ahead for my car.
"That's what I'm here for. If i weren't, you'd probably be falling off a cliff to your death." I say matter-of-factly. She thinks about it for a moment.
"True." and gets into the car.

Saffron: Before the car has even pulled up, I get out, slamming the door behind me. Neither of us were the easiest people to get on with. I pull my key out, unlocking the door and shutting it behind me, and he came in ten seconds later. I rushed upstairs; I needed to change my clothes. I threw my clothes on the floor, carefully choosing a short denim skirt for myself, my net leggings, and a low cut tanktop. I shove on my tatty converse, not even bothering to tie or untie the laces as I do. You wouldn't even notice that there was supposed to be an intricate pattern on these old boots, but that was just how I liked it. I grabbed my favourite tough leather jacket, going back downstairs to see Ridge looking at me rather miserably, his arms folded. He looked me up and down, a smirk on his face. "What?" I demanded, not even waiting for an answer, and walking straight back towards the door.

Vivian: After a few more three-pointers, I decide to call it a day and start heading for the ice cream parlor. I dribble my basketball thoughtfully as i walk there. I really hope Ridge doesn't show up, he kinda creeps me out, and he might try sitting by me. I stop dribbling and hold my basketball under my arm as I cross the street over to where everyone should be arriving within the next 15, 20 minutes.

Kato: I pull up into the shop, right next to a table in it. A feww heads turn as they hear the purring of my scooter, and I smile at those people, taking my helmet off, placing it on the table, and ruffling my hair out. I had rung Cass earlier, and asked her why whe wasn't doing her normal water aerobics, but she told me she was ill. Oh well. I sighed. I hadn't seen her for nearly a week. Something kept coming up, whether she was visiting relatives, going to a sleepover, or ill, like she was today. She said she didn't want me to visit in case I catch what she has. I mean come on, who could want someone better than that? She cares for you even when she's ill.

Vivian: I set my basketball beside me. The booth i'd picked was big enough, I think. It went around a corner and had extra space. I look up when I hear the grumble of a motor. I blink. It's that one guy...Kato? Yeah. "Um, hey," i call him over, getting his attention. "Nice...scooter," I comment as he gets close enough to hear me. I check the clock. I'd think Ashe and Nev would be here already. Maybe they got caught up in traffic or something...I shrug it off.
