I nodded, looking impressed. 50 euros weren't much actually. I've had wine from 1699 that was 200 euros. "That's somewhat expensive...in a common man's perspective of course."

Brendan: I swallowed, feeling uncomfortable. "Did I say uh, 50 euros?"

(Of course, Lance and Dessie have had wine that is probably worth a lot, lot, more than that. And isd definately older. )

Marjorie:
I smiled up at him. "Indeed, you did, sir. Now if you don't mind, I think I should go mingle with some other gentlemen, just to let the ladies know that you're still an elligible bachelor...somewhat worth their money."
Then I turned to walk off with my glass.

Brendan: My posture decreased slightly as she walked away. Where on earth was my father? I shook my head, debating whether to persue that question.

Marjorie: I sighed and set my empty glass on the tray before walking out to the quiet halls. They seemed so lonely and dead...Just like my house. To live alone in a large mansion, it seems everything is dead there, but I shook it off. I thought about Brendan and how he acted. He obviously had to look at the paperwork and get his facts right. I turned to face the ballroom half-filled. People were already leaving. Before I could enter, I heard a noise from down the hallway and my curiousity had made my feet follow the sound...
When I found the room that housed the noise, I slowly opened the door....and found the Duke, writhing in pain, foaming from the mouth and a bullet in his large belly. Blood was spread like a pool around him and I stumbled back in horror...
All I could do was scream.

(yeah! here is my character-

Name: Jack O'Hara
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Role: (servant or noble) Sevent, specifically Gardener or Grounds Keeper/Handy Man (fixes everything)
Appearance: Tall around 6'7, muscular but not noticeable (think of a soccer player), chocolate brown curly hair. Green eyes, and a slight tan. Normally wears, whitt or off white shirts, brown vests, brown or black pants and black work boots.
Personality: He is a prankster, but knows when to pull pranks. Has a blatant disregard for rules, but it is almost never on purpose. He is a flirt, but does not have luck with women.
Bio: He was born in Ireland, kidnapped at the age of five, brought to England and sold. He was taken in and treated like a son, till he reached the age of 10 where he was put to work, he started to rebel, and was flogged at least once a week (it continues to this day).

Clara: I went to the kitchen for my last refill of random orderves. The scream startled me. I put the tray down and ran to it's origen, a lady guest stood over a gentleman's bloody corpse. I raised my had to my mouth in abosolute horror. I ran to the ballroom and looked for my misstress. Finding her I tapped her shoulder to get her attention. "Madame, Madame," I whimpered, " You must call the constable. A man is dead, a man is dead!"

[Charlie]

Jack-

I was told to stere clear of the ball room tonight. But my master said nothing of the kitchen. I walked in through the back door, and saw him on the floor. I couldn't believe it, I was practically his kid, well when I was younger. I would have no job now. "Who did this!?" I bellowed.

Clara: I ran back into the kitchen. I saw Jack, he wasn't supposed to be here. I wiped at a few stray tears. "You have to go, the misstriss will be displeased if she finds you here. He was my age but in a lower position, I barely saw him but heard of him plenty.

[Charlie]

Jack-

"Last time I checked, I was allowed in the kitchen. I was told to stay away from the party. I am well away from it." I retorted. I was not going anywhere.

Clara: I bit my lip and shakily sighed. "Hide, you could be a suspect." Tears were pouring out of my eyes. I didn't want anyone else to get hurt. I tore off my annoying bonnet and ran a hand through my long blond hair.

[Charlie]

Jack-

Sometimes an Irish accent slipped, this happened to be one of those times, "Me a suspect, I was practically the mans son when I was younger, he gave me a job. Why would I want to murder him?"

Clara: My eyes were red and my hair was a mess. "I don't know, why would anyone want to murder him? Anyone's a suspect and anyone's a criminal." I say quickly but in a shushed tone.

[Charlie]

Jack-

I started to steam, of course the Irishman was the criminal. I hopped on the table, "Well we will just wait till someone else comes." I said rather hotly.

Clara: "Leave. Please. I will take blame for this if I have to. Just go." I cried, a quick hanging and this would be out of everyone's way.

[Charlie]

Jack-

"You're not getting rid of me that easily." I stated. I was not moving.

Clara: I sobbed. "Please, I don't want anyone hurt. Go, please." I accepted my fate of being blamed, it would help the misstriss. If I said I did it then it would be a short investgation.

Jack-

"No one is going to get hurt. Plus you said yourself everyone is a suspect." I was going to make sure she was not going to get blamed. I nestled myself onto the table, I was not going to move for anything.

Clara: I looked at him and pleaded. He was just an innocent man. "I will take the blame, just go." I said firmly.

Anne Rainsford:

I just barely heard a scream inundating from some where deeper in the house. After a moment, I decided it had probably come from the kitchen. I knew my way thanks to the countless number of times I'd entered through the back door, carrying priceless ancient goods for the Duke.
I stepped through the door just in time to see Jack, one of the Duke's servants, bellow a single question, "Who did this?"
The Duke lay prone on the floor in a dark pool of blood.
"What happened? Who saw him first?" I asked immediately, trying to understand the situation.

Clara: I turned and looked at her my eyes red. "I saw him first. Just like this." I whimpered. I needed a friend right now.

Anne:

She was really upset. "Easy, calm down," I muttered to the maid- Clara. "What can you tell me about this? Did you just stumble upon him? Did you hear anything?- see anything?"

Clara: I took a deep breath. "I heard a gun shot, found him here. Ran and told the misstriss to call the cops and I came back here to find him." I say in a single breath.
