History
Years ago, the world had demolished the infamous mafias scattered around the world. Some members perished with their clan, others got away with 50 years in prison minimum. Within a few years, most mafias slowly began recooperating, bringing in more members and powerful weapons through their new contacts. Some mafias (Lucchese, Gambino, Bonanno, Genovese, Colombo) were bent on revenge and began collaborating on a worldwide takeover. They became known as the Cambiamentos When the other mafias (Sicilian, 'Ndrangheta, Camorra, Banda della Magliana, Greco, Motisi, Corleonesi) had heard about them, they decided to ban together as well in order to stop the Cambiamentos and called themselves the Protegge. So begins the Mafia War...

Present
It is the year 2015 and the Earth has not changed since the predictions of global warming. The economies have recovered and the world is at the peak of its existence, but is currently suffering from the battles of the Mafia War. The Protegge have tracked the Cambiamentos to New Vida City, the contemporary version of Las Vegas. With new bosses to lead them, the Protegge and Cambiamentos bring their families overseas to live with them in the new Sin City. The school of the bosses' choice: the White Rose Academy, where the prestigious are taught to be the leaders of the world. Little did the two sides know that, although they were in a war between men, even the children can affect the outcome.

Protegge
The Protegge are made up of seven Italian mafias called the Sicilian Mafia, 'Ndrangheta, Camorra, Banda della Magliana, Greco, Motisi, and the Corleonesi Clan. They are considered the 'good guys' who are trying to stop the Cambiamentos from taking over the governments and corrupting the world. They are smart and logical thinkers, with a tendency, as a group, to use reason rather than fighting to settle things.

Cambiamentos
The Cambiamentos are made up of the Five Families from the East Coast: Lucchese, Gambino, Bonanno, Genovese, and Colombo. They believe that, since the world had taken so many of their close friends and allies, they deserve revenge over their fallen comrades. They are strong and agile, always using their powers or weapons rather than just talking. They enjoy adrenaline rushes and always cause trouble.

This is an advanced roleplay. It can include anything from powers (No mind-reading/flaunting powers unless in profile, and NO POWER REPEATS please) to romance. (Hence the Title and the picture I worked so hard on.) Cursing must be kept to a minimum and censored. Ages must vary from 17-20 since the Academy goes from High School to College. Also, the Academy gives the option of dorms. Please, nothing like, "my father abused me", etc.

Angelique: I sat in the student council room, studying the plans for the Winter Festival coming up. There was so much to do: the Dj still had to be hired and paid in advance, the decorations were being made as I sat there, the guest list was still in progress and most of the student council had slacked off.

I looked up at the time. 11:45AM. The Lunch Bell was going to ring in about five minutes, but that made no difference in my plans. I still had to finish the paperwork on the school budget then take my nutrition pills instead of lunch. Plus, I still had to refill the Earl Grey tea in case the President came back in from his nap on the roof.

I sighed and stood up, removing my square rimless glasses and rubbing my temples. So much to do, plus my sister was leaving tonight for a meeting in St. Petersburg with Dad so I'll probably be in charge for the next two weeks. I grinned at that thought. I was in charge and it was my turn to show Dad my capabilities.

Riiing!
I walked away from the paperwork and into the halls of Building C, used for Science and Mathematics while Building B was used for Literature, Foreign Languages, and History and Building A was the main building for the Gym and Cafeteria on the second floor.

I walked down the halls quietly, watching the other students as they filed out of class. What I hated about this school was that they allowed the disgusting Cambiamentos in and I was one of the few Protegges here..

Genevieve: I walked out of my science class, the sound of my boots loud and almost interrupting. Building C was filled with Cambiamento's but I noticed one Protegge in the hall, sticking out like a sore thumb. They never bothered me, they knew what would happen if they did. I had a reputation around her as the Eldest Daughter of the Gambino's. And they knew I could very well take care of myself.

Angelique:
I noticed Genevieve Gambino walking down the hall. To me, she seemed slutty and reckless. Then again, what Cambiamento wasn't? It was, of course, in their nature unlike the Protegges who, to me, were more superior. I looked at her and nodded, not really wanting to talk to her, but I had to since I was Vice President of the Student Council.

"Genevieve."

[Cali]

I looked at Angelique, crossing my arms. "Angelique. It's surprising that you're talking to me." I said, my Italian accent thick, making my voice sound seductive but exotic. I didn't have a snobby tone like most Cambiamento did.

[BlackWhispers]

Angelique: I gave her a cold smile at her tone. "Si but only because of my position on Student Council, not because I want to make peace with you...Cambiamentos."

I lay on an Italian accent on her group's name and gave her the smile my ex-boyfriend used to love. It was sad he wasn't on Earth anymore, but he got what he deserved since he slept with one of the Gambinos. Genevieve's cousin I think...then again, all those slutty women looked the same with their volumptuous bodies and whatnot.

[Cali]

I frowned, "What do you want Angelique?" I said, getting annoyed. "And I may want some type of peace but only if you truly deserve it. Just to let you know, I respect you....You're different from most Protegge. But anyways...What do you want?" I asked again.

[BlackWhispers]

Angelique: I shrugged, dropping my smile. "Nothing. Is it so wrong to talk to a fellow student?"

When she gave me an unbelieving look, I smiled. "Fine, fine..I wanted to talk to you about a little experiement I want to try."

[Cali]

I blinked, a little excited about this. "What did you have in mind?" I asked, tilting my head.

[BlackWhispers]

"Follow me."
I led her back to the Student Council Room and motioned her to have a seat on the dark red Victorian sofa. When she sat down, I sat in the couch opposite of her, my legs crossed. I took a moment before speaking again.

"We've been at war for a while and I was wondering if you would like to create an alliance with me. Although our families have already stated that the White Rose Academy is no-man's land, I want to...How do I say this....become friends with your people..."

I think I said it right...

[Cali]

I sat there a little shocked. I furrowed my brow, crossing one leg over the other. "An Alliance with the Protegge. Never thought I would have these world come out of my mouth but I think I agree with you. It is most certainly a strange idea, but also a clever one." I say, leaning back into the sofa.

[BlackWhispers]

I smiled a bit. Everything was going according to plan (That reminded me of Corpse's Bride) and soon, I'll be the matriarch of the Protegge. I stood and walked to the small kitchen they had installed in the room. It was once the teachers' lounge, but they gave it to us instead.

"Good. Would you like some Earl Grey or water?"

While waiting for her response I added, "And this deal will only apply to the children of the Protegges and Cambiamentos. Having our parents included will...only result in what happened in Milan."

That battle was one of the bloodiest. It was the Cambiamentos who proposed it and one of the Protegge had agreed. Father thought he was a traitor and killed him along with a Cambiamento and it just got bloodier after that...

[Cali]

I nodded, "I remember what had happened." I shook my head before looking up, "Earl Grey please." I looked up at the ceiling, thinking if this was such a good idea. If Father found out, he'd scold her, but he wouldn't hit her, no matter how drunk on scotch or amaretto he was.

When I finished preparing the tea, I set a small Worchester cup and plate on the coffee table in front of her. I sighed and seated myself before sipping at my tea. "Who doesn't remember what happened? So for our pact, what do you think we should do? Since we're supposed to be 'friends'."
I've never had friends before so I had no idea what to do.

[Cali]

I sighed and took a sip of the tea. "Not sure." I said simply.

[BlackWhispers]

I made a face before speaking again. "My little nephews had told me of a certain game...I think it was called...20 Questions, where you ask questions until you reach an answer...or something like that. How about we take turns asking questions about each other? Would that be beneficial?"

[Cali]

I thought about it for a second, before nodding. "I think so." I bit the inside of my cheek, furrowing my eyebrow.

[BlackWhispers]

I made a face before asking, "What are your thoughts on this war?"

(Stalling for Peaches tomorrow lol)

I sighed, "Truthfully, I think it's ridiculous."

I nodded, looking down at my tea. "Mm...so far we have that in common. Anything you want to ask?"

I thought about it then asked, "What do you think about Cambiamentos? Honestly?"
