As we walked down a hall way 2 armed guards were stationed outside a door. They both looked at me before entering a code into a pad, then returned to a guarding stance. Behind there was what looked like a large base with TV's on the wall, tables with maps and etc.. There was 1 desk however, and everyone in the room was gathered around it as they turned to look at us.
"Dalia Jasmine?" One of them said. "And guests even." He looked at Alice and Alenia.
"Yes, Dalia Alice, and her sister Alenia." I replied, finally lifting my head to face them and pushing the hair out of my face. I tried to look angry so that they would have a better chance of listening to me.

"What can we do for you?" The man asked.
"Code 32 is going to screw everything on the front line up. Anthony can hold his line, call it off." I yelled at him.
"We will not call it off, we have procedures to follow, and your not high enough rank to repeal those procedures so hush up." He returned.
"My brother holds the 3rd seat of Dezna, these orders come directly from him."
"He shoulda come himself, you hold the 12th, and that just doesn't cut it these days."
I paused as he said that. "12th?" I looked at Alice, then back to the man. My face broke apart, and I looked scared now.

Alice: I clenched my hands so tight until blood dripped out. "Personally, I don't give a damn whether it doesn't cut it these days. Anthony is the 3rd seat. That means something, right?" I was surprised at how angry but mature my voice sounded.

"If Anthony were here right now his word is above ours, but since I hold the 10th seat, I outrank her word. Are you even within the Deznian forces?"
"She is now." I jumped in.
"Per order of?" He said with disgust in his voice.
"Why am I the 12th seat? When I woke up this morning I held the 14th, that means 2 people of higher rank died." My voice had worry in it, and I really had no intention of answering him until my mind was at ease.

Alice: I looked down at Alenia as she tugged on my shirt. She used the sign language for 'What's happening?' I replied back, 'Nothing you need to worry about.'
I looked back to the man, "Yes, I am within the Deznian forces and if you say otherwise then let me say this. I would give my goddamn life for Jasmine and for Anthony and for anyone else that needs protection. I have no problem doing so. Now for her, I don't know what her answer would be..." my voice went quiet.

"The 6th and 8th seat went MIA about 3 hours ago during a recon mission." He made little note of Alice's comment. He seemed to be trying to avoid anything that could convince him other then his orders.
"Milon... And Opaelia..." My voice was near silent.
A scratchy voice came over the intercom. "This is blue ...gle thr... field com...nd of ci...ey 5 request... dro... codes of seat five."
"Son of a...!" His voice went violent, but he stopped himself before swearing.
I continued remain silent, Opaelia's daughter was my best friend. I ran from the room on the verge of tears.

Alice: I watched her leave with wide sad eyes. Alenia tugged my shirt again. "Should I go see if she's alright?" I smiled sadly and nodded. "Go ahead. Just be careful." Alenia followed Jasmine.

"God damn it, call off the strike..." He shot a dirty look to Alice.

I was running down the hallway and I stopped on the side and dropped down leaning against the wall with my arms crossed in front of my stomach.

I sat there, not really knowing what to think anymore. Did kaykay even know her mother was MIA? Thoughts started rushing through my mind and tears finally slowly rolled down my cheeks from my eyes.

(That's actually amusing cause I call my aunt that because when I was little I couldn't say Caitlin : P. And I still call her that(As little as she talks to me these days) lol. I think that's a hard name when your learning to talk xp)

I couldn't think of how to answer her. Telling her the truth probably wasn't the best of ideas, she'd been through enough because of me. "It's nothing, just thinking about stuff." I tried to keep my voice strong to hide the breaking in my voice.

"Field command recommending reinforcements in sector 2 our wing is at risk of falling." A man came over the radio.
"Alright Alpha 8 proceed to sector to, ROE shoelace." Kyle said.
"Flareon 2 to field command, sector 9 suppressed awaiting further orders."
"Flareon hold your line, Delta 2 regroup and drop your tango's, Flareon 3 fall back to sector 9 and hold off with Flareon 2."
"Delta 2 preparing to regroup, requesting air support."
"Foxdeath 4 to Flareon 2 you have tango's coming from the north, we'll weaken them the best we can."
"Angel ix 2 heavily organized force approaching from sector 18. Raid requested."
"Evac 5 full load, we're lifting off."
"Angel 2 you'll have your raid asap." Kyle tried to keep his voice heard.

I giggled and smiled at Jasmine, "That's why they call me giggles. I make everyone smile and giggle." I felt like she needed a hug but didn't hug her because I didn't want to upset her.

I smiled at seeing Alenia and Jasmine. I'm sure this is what Jasmine needed, probably...maybe.

"Field command that is a negative, this is redin(Lol since I know you'll have an issue with this it's Ray-deehn) 6, we're cut off from our force and cannot regroup."
"Redin 6 if you do not regroup you will be left behind, We'll be back to pick you up as soon as we can if your still there. All units on my command." There was a pause as the gunfire in the city continued to roar. "Saber Ariel Vector Echo Sector 23."
(On a side note, this is useless info but Saber, Ariel, Vector, Echo Sector 23 says SAVE sector 23 in case your curious why I choose those call codes Very Happy

"Alright keep pushing into the industrial zone, we can't lose this battle, all other lines on the Drake's line have fallen back, lets show the Drake that Dezna WILL NOT SURRENDER!" Kyle said over the comlink trying to inspire everyone to try harder then they already were.

"I'm sorry for leaving you like that." My face was slightly saddened. "I couldn't talk anymore. One of the people that went MIA... She's the mother of my best friend."

"Field command, we have 3 planes fully fueled and armed, ready to go. If you need strikes give us the coordinates, sounds like shit's getting pretty bad down there."
"All forces pull away from the industrial district, and go into stealth active. I need all strikes to bomb the hell out of the industrial district until there's no Americans left in there. This city is still at risk to fall guys, don't give them any leeway."
"Retreat sir?" One of the soldiers said, sounding fairly confident.
"To hell with retreat, deznians will stand even after their dead." Anthony replied, it was an old morale booster that the original Deznian general said during the first Dramerican war.
"Well what about the enemy?"
"What enemy?" Bombs began going off in the Industrial district. "I seem to have lost contact with this so called enemy." Anthony joked.

(I just realized I've been saying Kyle instead of Anthony. Wrong story fail.)
