(Using her power too much etc but it could be something more serious if you can be bothered to think of a story behind it... XP)

"What do you think's gonna happen?" Jared whispered, poking his head out from behind the tree. He watched carefully as Tarrant looked at her, "He isn't gonna...you know, is he?"

Scarlett began to grip her hands, the faint humming drew her further in, into the darkness there.
"Helloooo?" she called as she walked further in, a man clad in white stood at the front by a huge brown door, looked like solid oak.
"Hello there child, I thought that you were...never mind," he shook his head as she walked over to him, arms folded.
"Do you mind if I light up? I'm kinda stressing..." she pulled out a pack of cigarettes and smiled, "You can say no..."
"Then I shall," he nodded at it as it flew to his hand, "Just to make sure."
Scarlett nodded a little freaked out, but kept on walking.

Drake shook his head slowly, "I don't know." His eyes never left the scene.

Regardless of what had caused it, something had to be done. Scarlett's breathing was growing shallow and irregular. Tarrant snapped his fingers. A solid silver goblet filled with water, and a long, sharp, curved, black tooth the size of a dagger appeared.
He picked up the tooth and, holding it like one would a knife, sliced it across his wrist. One... two... three drops of blood fell on it. Still using the tooth, he mixed the silver drops into the water. If Scarlett was as bad off as she looked, this would help. It would hurt like Havvel, but it would help. Now, there was the little matter of getting her to drink.

"Okay, but where am I?" she followed the dude, a little confused as he tapped on the oak door, "Hello?"
"I think we've gone past that part of the conversation Scarlett," he shook his head, laughing slightly as the girl blushed.
Eventually, after a long silence of which Scarlett was expected to come back with a good one-liner but surprisingly didn't, he opened the door to a huge room, black, completely black. The floor looked like glass but had a weird glow.
"Do you know where you are?" he looked at her, his jet black hair covering his eyes and most of his nose.
"If I did I would be more confident..." she looked at him.
The man was tall and a bit chubby, his face looked like it was chiselled by an angel, his clothes didn't help that matter at all to be honest.
"I guess so," he smiled taking out his hand, "I'll show you..." with a smile she took it, his hand ice cold.
Stepping onto the glass, she realised it was ice, it broke through the rubber of her sole, suddenly, she felt something holding her chin, her lips felt like something was on it, her mouth was full of water suddenly. In a panic, she swallowed, a pain grew in the pit of her stomach and the back of her head. She froze as the white-clad guy looked at her, a little shocked.
"What's the matter?" he seemed incredibly worried as he held her up. Next thing she knew, there was a chair behind her as he set her down, the pain growing ever worse.
"I-I dunno..." she winced as another pain came through, something like she been shot in the heart.
She held it, closing her eyes through fatigue.
"Stay here," he told her as he disappeared, leaving Scarlett in the middle of darkness sitting in a chair on a floating glowing icy platform. Great.

Tarrant just stayed, kneeling beside Scarlett. All he could do now was to wait. There was nothing else to be done.

"What the heck was that all about?" Drake asked Jared in a hushed whisper. He still scared and, now, very confused.

"How am I meant to know?! You're the smart one!" he hissed.

Scarlett fell out of consciousness. The last thing that she saw was the guy tapping her arm with a girl clad in red, her eyes fell back.
"Wha...?" Scarlett hazily opened her eyes to see Tarrant there, "Where's Drake and Jared?!" she whipped up, "Did they through me in the lake? Where are they?!" she looked at him, grabbing his shoulders, her eyes blazing at him, a glowing amber, "Tell me. Now."

"Should we go?" Jared looked at Drake, "And... do you think that we should make a partnership, y'know like...friends?"

"Well, I don't think they threw you in the lake," Tarrant said, "I told them to get back to the school, but I can't say for certain whether they did or not."

Drake nodded, "Friends." He looked back towards the lake. Scarlett was alive, thank God. The last thing he had wanted was to be charged with manslaughter.

"Yeah," she nodded, "What the hell did you do to me? Honestly, I was in a floaty place with a rather cute guy," she smiled, holding her temples and looked at his wrist, "Emo."
As a smile crept to her lips, she spied the edge of Jared, the chunky monkey's foot sticking out from behind the bush.
"Jared, Drake it's okay, I shan't beat you up again...yet," she smiled as she saw his head pop up, a scowl on his face.
"How?" he looked at her, slipping out.
"Foot. Bush. I may have hazy vision but I can still see the obvious..."

"I don't know how to respond to that," Tarrant said simply, then stood up. "Well, it's been a long day, I suggest you all get some sleep." With that, he walked back to the school.

Drake reluctantly emerged from the behind the tree he had hidden behind. He wasn't at all sure what to say. 'Sorry for the trying to beat you up'? 'Please don't ever threaten to throw me in the lake again'? 'Thanks for not dying'? He decided on the question he'd asked earlier, "What the heck was that all about?"

"No idea," she stood up and dusted herself off, "But to be honest I'd rather not repeat it," she nodded at the pair, taking a step.
As she did, her knee buckled, grabbing Drake's shoulder for support, "Sorry," she murmured, she was too tired to even walk.
"Here, let me," Jared went up behind Scarlett and lifted her off of the ground, "Sorry, just thought you needed it..."
"No worries," she smiled, tapping his arm, "Nice muscles..."
He blushed the same colour as his complimenter's name. Looking at Drake, he drew a smug smile, he sometimes got the feeling that he liked her.

(DO I have to put love in the thread? I'm having a crisis myself right now myself and no one knows... *sob*)

Drake glared at Jared. He was a lucky guy. Super-strength must've impressed the ladies a whole lot more than being able to throw fire around. The group walked back to the school. For whatever reason, there was a girl pacing in front of the door.

"Jasmine!" Scarlett announced, nodding at Jared to let her down, "Come here!" she pulled her over and grabbed her arm, "Now, I need to see Amara and see if she's asleep... And thanks Jared, Drake," she nodded to each in turn before hobbling inside, "Oh wait!" she turned around and held onto the door, "Anything else that you want? Sorry otherwise I walk off and miss all the action and all..."

(She hasn't walked off, she was gonna but stayed because she thought that the boys might have something to say *ahem*)

"Okay then," she shrugged, holding onto the wall walking up the stairs. Jared was behind her making sure that she didn't fall off and crack her skull; not too graceful for an ex gymnast, eh?
