She let out a light squeak at the affectionate kiss but smiled nonetheless, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

He held her gently, stroking her shoulder lightly and kissing her forehead.

He laughed lightly at her reaction and opened the door before kicking it shut.

She closed her eyes at the feel of his lips.

He smiled softly at her, "Have I told you you're beautiful?"

"Love you too," he smiled, walking to their bedroom.

Naruto sighed softly, "I know..." he said softly, "I've been working out trying to get a dinner set up for the officiates ever since Gaara told me the Sand has been planning to start a war..."

She giggled softly, hugging him tightly, "I know you do..." she assured him softly.

"What?" she asked in a worried tone. "When did they declare this?"

He smiled and gently laid her down.

"They haven't declared it yet," he said, "but since by blood rite Orochimaru was a Sand ninja, they want to. Gaara even got kicked out of Kusagakure because of it."

She mewled softly, scooting over and pulling him into bet with her.

Her hand covered her mouth in shock. "But why? He did nothing to harm his own Ninja..! This makes no sense."

He crawled into bed as if to lay down beside her. Instead, he leaned down and gently rested his head on her stomach, closing his eyes. He then began to softly speak to her tummy.

"It's those motherfucking elders. They're damn warmongers," he sighed, "The sound has wanted a war for at least fifty years now and it's just a matter of time before the smaller villages pick sides," he said softly, running his hands into his hair.

She smiled softly, playing with his hair, watching him intently with a faint blush.

"Naruto," she whispered, worried for her husbands sanity as she ran her hands in and out of his hair.

He then lifted her shirt up and gently kissed her stomach before scooting up and smiling sheepishly at her.

"That's why I've been planne this dinner. We need to negotiate and they wouldn't dare start a war with their own in danger," he said.

She swallowed, wrapping her arms around him softly, "Oh, and we have dinner plans Thursday. I haven't really had a chance to tell you."

He nodded and pulled her into a comforting and secure embrace.

She nodded, continuing the motion of her hand in his hair. "I can't believe after everything..."

Naruto nodded, taking a calming breath, "I know. The Sand is incredibly short-sighted towards the past."
