Eventually everyone who had eaten breakfast had made a trip to the bathroom.

Lacie slowly nuzzled into Van's chest, eyes closed.

He stroked her hair slowly and gently.

Lacie grimaced, "I guess the food I scrounged up wasn't so good after all."

Sora sat with Kairi and Aiko, rubbing her back.

"Don't blame yourself," he murmured. "You couldn't have known."

Aiko cried and sniffled, "Am I dying, Mommy?"
Kairi shook her head, "No sweetheart. You just ate something and you didn't react good to it."
"React?"
"It's making you sick, baby girl. But you'll be just fine. Mommy and Daddy are going to take care of you, alright?"

Lacie made a soft sound, covering her eyes.

Sora nodded, "Everything will be okay," he promised.

Aiko nodded, coughing a little. "My mouth tastes bad, Daddy."

He pulled her hand away to gaze into her eyes.

She looked at him, still looking a bit green in the face.

"Deep breaths," he reminded, rubbing her back slowly.

Sora got up and fixed her a glass of water.

She closed her eyes, trying to take deep breaths.

"Just breathe," he soothed.

She was lifted by her mother who stood her on a stepping stool in front of the sink. She taught her daughter how to brush her teeth so that could help get the taste out of her mouth.

She whimpered, covering her head with a pillow to shileld her eyes from the light.

He continued to rub her back for a moment before getting up and shutting the lights off.
