Welcome to Ysgradlin, where the beings called Ancients reside with humans in peace and harmony. Well, that's how it was, until a human sorcerer named Ganriel had disrupted the balance by taking the life of an ancient named Vetel, a Nature Ancient. The Council of Ancients, outraged by this action, declared war on the humans on basis that they were a rash parasitic race that threatened all life on Ysgradlin. Humans then geared up for a war that they thought would never end, or that both sides would suffer indefinitely. You, now, will choose a side. Ancients or Humans. Their fate lies in your hands. Ancients
No one is really sure where they originated from, but they are sure that they are a very old and wise race. About the size of an average human, age three times slower, and appear as their element. (All 13 elements) They fight based on their element. A simple example would be an Earth Ancient. They fight using mainly stone, dirt, and sand. A heavy duty Ancient, ready for the tear and wear of combat.

Humans: Do I really need to explain this? Well humans developed here around the coming of the seventh century of Ysgradlin. Humans have a multitude of different jobs varying from a farmer to a lord. For the magical manipulation jobs, they are mainly stuck with one element and one type of spell casting though the young ambitious arch magi can use multiple kinds. And thus is a brief and I think possibly useless explanation of humans.

Too lazy to go in and change this but the ancients appear as a manifestation of their element not as the element itself.
