Sora raced to her as the barrier vanished. "Kairi!"

Lacie hissed as he darker self managed to slice across her chest, leaving a new trail of blood in her wake.

Sora cradled her worry-riddled and panicked. He looked to Ilenwen. "What's going on?"

Lacie spat out blood and ran at Envy, the colors on divine destiny seeming to swirl and mingle and leap off the blade into the air. They formed a wind tunnel. It spun at envy and thousands of blades left deep marks all over her skin.

Riku crouched next to Sora, looking concerned.

Lacie cried out as she was cut again and winced as she tried to stand and her knees buckled.

Ventus sped past Lacie and launched himself at the dark woman.

Kairi screamed louder, in bloody murder, as the darkness fully peeled away from her body and materialized into her anti-form. Her hair became lighter and her eyes more pale and icy, her skin also more of a porcelain tone.

Sora Riku and Terra stood between Kairi and her Anti-form, keyblades in hand.

Lacie slowly forced herself to stand as Envy staggered backwards with a scream of rage.

Ilenwen suddenly stood in front of the men, facing Kairi's Anti-Form as she slowly stood.

Ventus cursed before lowering himself to Lacie's side, eyes flashing in worry.

Ilenwen growled lowly at the Anti as it smirked and blew Sora a kiss with a wink. "I'll come back for you later," she promised with an evil grin and vanished into thin air.

Lacie on all fours smiled weakly as the earth lowered once again. Her hair was now dirty blone with a prominent streak of gray from the fight. "I-I kn-knew it...you...can still bleed.....without a heart...." she managed to studder our weakly, blood staining her jaw.

Sora glared at the anti before looking at Kairi. '"Kairi just hold on."

Ventus gently eased her into his arms, his heart racing as tears welled up in his ocean blue eyes. "Hang on, Lacie. You're going to be okay," he promised as he pressed his lips gently to her bloody ones, letting her wounds ignite in a green glow as they started to close.

Kairi whimpered weakly, blood sputtering from her mouth. Her arm, which covered her stomach, lifted with a bunch of strength being used, revealed a long and deep laceration across the pale and blood stained skin.

Lacie was trying to stand as her wounds healed when a hand was put on her shoulder from the other side. "Reast, Guardian of the Light. You need your strength." She tried to stand once more.

"Guardian of the wha-?" The girl looked at Ventus "Guardian of the Light Wind, will you make sure she rests? I need to talk with Spirit (Kairi), Earth(Terra), Water(Aqua), Division(Riku), Guidance(Sora), Sky (Cloud), Strength (Tifa), and Defense(Roxas). Can you do that?" She asked then stood, walking to the others, kneeling, laying a hand on Kairi and instantly healing her. "Hello again Ilenwen." she said as she looked at the girl as she stood.

Ilenwen gave the girl a small and respectful bow, "It's been a while (Alliel, right?)," she spoke clearly as she then stood straight. The princess laid in Sora's arms. Ventus looked at Lacie then at the girl in confusion.

(Any ideas for Kairi's anti? I was thinking something like Aiyoku which is lust in Japanes. Like Vanitas is Latin for Vanity and Envy is English for Jealousy. And Ven was Latin Lacie's American and Kairi's Japanese I figured that it followed the pattern.)

Alliel attempted a smile but it didn't look right on her emotionless face. "Indeed." she said, looking at them. "Ah, Guardians. I see I've arrived just in time to do the explaining." She said, looking at the ten teens she'd named. "You see, Guardians. You're part of an overall plan to maintain the balance of the worlds. Equal parts light and darkness. You ten are what is called the Order of the Light and each of you is a Guardian of the Light. Likewise, your dark counterparts such as Vanitas, Envy, and Kairi's anti-form are called the Order of the Night and they are called Dark Guardians. Their goal is to throw off the balance which could end all the worlds. It is my job to insure that the balance is maintained be that kill a light or a dark or save the life of two. My name is Alliel as you already heard and I am the scale of light and darkness. I am also the peacekeeper."

(Ooh; I like Aiyoku but hmm....I had another name in mind like Luxúria which is either Portuguese or something else >.<)

Kairi slowly sat up, her ears just barely hearing everything that the girl spoke. She watched her with icy blue eyes carefully, her rigid yet lithe form reflecting just how skeptical of her she was. "The...peacekeeper...?"

"Yes," Ilenwen spoke softly. Ten heads looked towards her. "The peacekeeper is self-explanitory. Maintaining peace. Envy is the Keeper of Destruction." She specifically moved her gaze to the Princess of Heart. "Spirit," she said in a soft whisper. The simple word, which also held a heavy meaning, echoed throughout the clearing they were gathered in. Wisps of light rose out of the ground slowly, twirling around Kairi and Sora. "Pyreflies," she murmured with the nod of her head towards them. The redhead looked up and gazed at them. "They may be called "pyreflies" but they aren't really "flies", you see. They're those lights you see whenever a fiend dies. The little fellows are responsible for a few fantastic phenomena. Visions of the past, spheres, fiends--these are all the pyreflies' doing. In fact...pyreflies have something to do with aeons, too. The dreams of the fayth reach through the spirit of the summoner... And that which is unreal becomes real for all to see."

Alliel nodded and looked around. "Each of you holds a special element in the Guardians. Spirit is the glue. It holds all the other elements together and is the centerpiece of the group. That's the Princess of Heart Kairi." She gestured for the ginger to stand. "Earth is the strong hold and supports everyone. All of you stand on him. Terra." Said man stood. "Water is the mother figure. Calm and unwavering. Aqua. Division is the line between dark and light. He's the inforcer of the Divine Law. Riku." The silverette stood. "Guidance knows what's right and leads you all on that path. He won't let any of you fall off the path. Sora." He stood. "Sky is free spirited and goes it's own way. It is able to see the big picture and convey that to you. Cloud. Strength is the power behind your group. The muscle. Tifa. Defense is the protector of the Guardians. The shield that keeps you all safe. Riku." The blonde stood. "You all have very specific roles in this. Live up to them."

"And me? You said I'm a Guardian of Light but mentioned no Element. Who am I?" Lacie asked. Alliel turned to her.

"You are are Light, Guardian. You are at the center of the group. Weak but strong at the same time." She seemed to have a breef flicker of...sadness? But the peacekeepers eyes returned to being hollow before it could be noticed. "In the end you are destined to make the ultimate sacrifice."

"So...the guardians of light are the guardians of....Lacie?" Alliel nodded.

"You can look at it like that, yes." Alliel turned to leave, pausing. "Oh, a be prepared. Muse will arrive soon."

Kairi stood as well as Cloud, Tifa, Aqua and Ventus. When everyone stood, a figure materialized beside Kairi from one of the pyreflies. Namine stood before walking to Ilenwen's side and facing everyone. Her eyes sparkled and were clear as day. "All of you have a duty to protect the light. If we all fail that duty, life as we know it will be lost."

Ilenwen then continued from there. "Kairi." Said woman stood tall. "You are spirit. You hold an incredible power that not many of us have seen before. Your powers are unknown-"

"My powers..." she interrupted. "They're not as light as they seem." Her tone was dark and pained. Blood was still drying up on her stomach.

"Light or not, that's your choice. Only you can controll your abilities." Alliel said calmly.

ALliel nodded. "Precisely. And who says darkness is bad? Perhaps they're...misunderstood."

Ten heads turned towards her.

"The dark is just...lonely...crying out for someone to help," she whispered.

Lacie nodded, remembering her time with Vanitas. "The dark is just calling for love....to love and be loved..." she couldn't be that for Vanitas. She knew that, but she knew he would find his own one day.
