Minutes later, her crying silenced and her body relaxed against his. Her eyes remained closed though.

Sora realized she was asleep and layed her down gently.

Meanwhile, Lacie was sitting talking to Tifa while Roxas was sprawled lazily in a chair.

Tifa placed her chin in her hand, her elbow resting atop the counter. "It doesn't make sense," she murmured.

"Which part?" Cloud asked as he lazily sipped on his glass of scotch.

"All of this. Our world is restored, life is good for a few years and now..." Her eyes were saddening a little. "I wonder if everyone's okay..." she murmured.

Kairi's head fell to the side gently, eyelashes tickling her cheeks.

Lacie shrugged. "I don't know a whole lot about it."

Sora smiled and lightly kissed her temple before going down stairs.

Tifa looked up at Sora and nodded; "Glad you could join us. Kairi's okay?" she asked with a nervous smile.

Goofy looked up and waved a little at Sora.

Sora nodded. "She's sleeping, now." He smiled and waved back at Goofy.

Tifa let out a sigh of relief, "Good." Her head snapped up suddenly at the sound of high pitch screams coming from outside. "That can't be good," she said, her hands reaching into her pockets to grab her red gloves. Cloud's hand was already reaching for the hilt of his blade.

Sora had summoned Kingdom Key. X-Blade was already in Lacies hands and Roxas had oathkeeper and oblivion and they raced outside.

Outside, wolf-like creatures made of darkness chased down people, tackling them and collecting their hearts. "Berserkers," Tifa growled, her fists clenching.

Tifa took off sprinting, racing past Lacie before launching herself at one. She knocked it over, rolling to a crouch before slamming her fist into its side.

Lacie swung at the wolves stabbing and cutting with uncharacteristic brutality.

Sora founght back with Roxas, as they were surrounded by wolves for a moment.

As more and more of them kept on coming, they suddenly headed in one direction before turning towards the group. Tifa caught her breath, watching them. "This isn't good." The Berserkers opened their mouths wide, dark energy forming large orbs as they aimed them at the group. "Oh..."

"...Shit," Cloud finished for her.

Lacie watched, frowzen in her spot before racing towards her friends.

When all dark orbs were released and shot towards them, they murged and became one large one racing towards them. "NO!!" a scream rang out, a figure with deep red hair raced in front of them, arms spread wide along with large crystal eyes.

It is okay to be afraid. It is. It's whether or not you face your fear.

Kairi's eyes closed slowly, her head lowering. When she felt the darkness just a ways away from her, her eyes snapped open. The dark energy hit a large invisible barrier in front of her, the impact creating large gusts of wind big enough to knock them back.

Kairi gasped, turning. It was as if she was firmly planted into that one spot as she turned towards them. "Sora!!" she screamed, a few tears starting to well up. No...please be okay... she thought as she ran towards him.

Sora groaned as he came in contact with the ground but was soon sitting up.

Kairi knelt down beside him, eyes wide. "You okay?" She looked to the darkness, eyes wide.

"Kairi!"

Said redhead turned to Goofy as she stood. He threw the charm Namine told him to give to her. She caught it and her skin meeting the silver charm made her glow a bright white. She gasped, eyes widening.

Kairi looked at the dark orb that dissipated before suddenly charging towards the Berserkers without a warning. The charm was firmly clenched in her hand.
