Roxas frowned. "What's going on"

Lacie smiled and put her hands over where his heart should be.

Sora downed some of the drink swiftly. "We're looking for Kairi's heart. Have you seen Maleficent since the last time?"

Cloud's face fell into a frown, "Not since back then. How is she?"

"She's upstairs. Sora and Donald are going to be staying for a few, until they at least get some clues," Tifa said softly, bring out a bottle of scotch and pouring it into a glass. She gave the glass to Cloud while pouring the brown liquid into a shot glass.

Sora finished off his drink, the slight buzz relaxing him. He wasn't a lightweight, but it'd been a while since he drank.

Roxas finally caught on and grabbed Lacie. "We're leaving." Lacie struggled for a bit before going limp. This made Roxas severely nervous.

Goofy blinked, "Uh-Oh."

Tifa blinked, "Refill?" she asked before downing the shot. It would take a lot for her to even get a slight buzz.

Sora nodded. "If you don't mind."

Roxas frowned. "Uh-oh? What uh-oh? Don't tell me that- but that guy said that they still had things to to do before that could-" I broke off in panic.

Goofy shook his head, "I think we need to get the King involved."

Tifa frowned but nodded. She didn't make it as strong as it was before.

Roxas nodded and pulled Lacie back to the Gummi ship.

Sora thankfully accepted the drink.

Goofy got in the Ship and started it up with Chip and Dale's help.

Tifa, closing her eyes in thought, sighed. "After all these years..."

"...Why is it starting again?" Cloud finished for her. He shrugged.

Lacie, unlike Kairi, had falen into a deem sleep. Roxas layed her on a couch and went to fasten in.

Sora took some of the drink and turned to cloud. "We don't know."

Roxas decided to contact so to update him.

"Hold on, that must be the others."

As Tifa took another shot, she closed her eyes in thought only to get a flashback. Her brown furrowed for just a moment, her hands gripping the edge of the countertop with her knuckles turning white. "Teef?" she heard Cloud's voice but it was drowned out by another voice.

"Tifa? Tifa! Come on, we don't have much time!" The voice sounded very familiar but she couldn't think of who it belonged to.

Sora was off to the side, having just gotten a breifing. "So, the thing- it was talking about waking up Ventus, then?"

Tifa snapped out of it at the sound of 'Ventus'. She had heard of that name somewhere.

Roxas nodded. "Yeah....through Lacie."

Sora frowned. "Oh man." I muttered. "I have to go..." I quickly ended the convo and returned to Cloud and Tifa.

Tifa frowned, "Is everything alright?" she asked, tilting her head.

Sora nodded. "Yeah. Well- actually not. This day just seemed to be getting worse. First, we lose destiny islands. Then kairi's heart. Namine dies. Now, Lacie- that's a new friend of mine who knows Roxas- is apparently part of some sceme to revive Ventus."

Tifa sighed, "I think the whole universe is going insane. Ah hell!" she growled, thinking of what she could do to help.

Tifa went up the stairs, down the hallway and opened the door once more. She went inside, holding the door open for Sora.

"Here," she said. She walked over to the desk in the room and picked up the chair before setting it by Kairi's side.

"Thanks, Tife." He paused. "For everything." I sat down beside Kairi's bed and grasped her hand.

Tifa leaned against the doorway with her arms crossed. She watched the two with a sad smile on her face. "You have nothing to thank me for. Think of this as a repayment. You helped me with Cloud fighting his darkness. He's back to himself again; so really, I should be thanking you.'
