Kairi's eyes closed as her head dipped in sadness. "I just...don't get it Sora. I can't shake this feeling of confusion.......I hear this voice in my head....repeating the same words over and over...the voice..." she shook her head. "I must sound crazy but..." she finally looked up at him. Her once crystal clear eyes were now clouded with something dark deep inside.

Sora stared, shoving his shock aside. "I don't understand either, Kairi."

She sighed, rubbing her eyes like a small child. "This is gonna be a long journey."

Goofy chuckled, "Well, miss Kairi, aren't all journeys long?" This made the tired redhead smile.

Lacie wandered through Hollow Bastion alone, thinking quietly.

Kairi smiled sleepily, "Well, we did say that soon we'd go on a journey together. Despite the circumstances." A deep ominous voice spoke immediately after her.

"The door has been opened."

Sora smiled and nodded hugging her.

Roxas soon came back and sat on the bench, sighing.

Lacie didn't want to go back. She didn't want to be vulnerable to Roxas' attacks. "Augh! Why do I love that- jaackass?!" she screamed, clutching her head. because you're weak. Your love has made you so.

Kairi stiffened in Sora's arms. She slowly turned to see a hooded figure, his face hidden by the shadows. "The worlds are connected." He spoke.

She tilted her head and stepped towards him, "What the hell are you talking about?" She snapped, a little more than annoyed.

"This is the second time your world has been succumbed to the darkness. Is it not?" He asked, slowly walking towards her.

"Stay back," she growled, summoning Oblivion. She raised her arm, the tip of the Keyblade pointed at him.

The man chuckled. "A princess of the heart, filled with such light. And yet, she weilds such a dark object. Could it be that you are succumbing to the darkness also?"

The man chuckled. "If so....then how come a princess with a pure heart currently has no heart at all? We should find out." He raised his hand, palm out. Kairi charged towards him, yelling in anger. Suddenly she stopped in place, eyes widening. She rasped out a cry of pain.

Naminè ran towards her, crying out her name. She was then hit by an unseen force and knocked into the air a few feet before landing on her back, writhing in pain.

"Kairi! Namine!" Sora cried, summoning Kingdom Key and leaping for the man.

Kairi weakly looked over her shoulder, eyes filling with tears. Just when Sora collided with the barrier, she screamed out in pain, dark energy visibly attacking her. The man smirked. "Now I see. Maleficent, when she ripped out your heart, let some of the darkness within you. Your body started to feed off of it. Now your starting to fade away into the darkness you are so afraid of."

Sora was soon back up, running/limping over to Kairi's side.

Kairi screamed out in agony but the sound started to slowly quiet until there was no sound coming out of her mouth. "Remember, Keyblade Master. The door has been opened." The man disappeared. Kairi's keyblade was banished on its own as her no longer awake body fell back.

Kairi's body slumped against him before simply falling limp. She looked just like she did when Sora found her in Hollow Bastion.

Roxas stood, tremblings and staring at Kairi. It was like he'd just woke up.

Lacie returned to the sight and stared. "What the-"

Roxas looked at her with a look that said now wasn't a good time.

(I kinda got an idea. What if Lacie was born, specifially to revive Ventus?)

A soft glow emitted from Naminè's chest. Slowly, a glowing pink spirit of a heart rose out and levitated over, bouncing lightly as it spun delicately.

The glowing heart made way towards Sora, emitting a warm glow as it lowered very slowly into Kairi's chest.
