Nakia slipped off her sweater, stetching out a little more and then turning to watch him with a careful smile. She had never felt more vulnerable, here with a boy younger than her in a tank op and shorts. If she had been in the city, she would have felt normal, but that was a past time.

Raz shook his head, a smile still on his lips. "Morbid, eh?" He asked, cocking his head toward her. Some dark black hair fell into one of his bright, off-white eyes and he blew it away with a child-like smile.

Next, Nakia let her hair down and it fell in black curls down her back. "What?" She asked, catching his grin. A loud burst of thunder sent her into a small jump. Slowly, she crawled over to Max's mat, sitting at the bottom of it. "I moved so... We could hear each other better over the thunder," she said, on the fly.

Nakia chuckled nervously. "Psh, no," she said, but it didn't fool anyone. "Um, just a little." She smiled and crinkled her nose. "You don't mind, do you?"

Nakia let out a little breath of relief. "Hopefully, I can find a decent place to stay tomorrow. Maybe a place with a bed," she mused, her dark eyes fluttering closed and then snapping open. "You're free to join me," she offered,letting her head troll to look at him with a playful smirk.

Nakia woke up with a smile and hopped from her mat. She pulled on some new clothes and checked to see if Max was still asleep. When she saw he was, she snuck outside. She filled her canteen from a small well and then walked back inside.

"Good morning," Nakia said, the corners of her mouth turning into a sulty smile. "Did you sleep well?" She rolled up the mats of her bed and saw the sun outside, grateful that it wasn't as hot as deserts in older times. It was always a cool temperature out here.

Alicia stirred and found her copanion for the night still sleeping and folded her blanket and left the one for him and wrote a note. thanks for the company, keep the blanket. If you want to find me, follow the sun in the morning and walk away from it in the after noon. it read as I walked out.
