Sleep was not kind to Anya as she rested. Nightmares of her past Hell haunted her as she slept, causing her to whimper. "No...please dad...no..." she whimpered as she slept. She clung to Brandon as she slept, as if he would chase away the nightmares.

Brandon hir his forehead against the floor, why was he letting this disobeying wretch hug him while she slept? His only answer was that he had no back bone, why couldn't he just get up? He carefully turned over and bent so his mouth was at her ear. "Sleep easy, none may torment your dreams."
With that he slid out of her grip and went to his room. After a guilty moment he tossed a pillow and a blanket at her before returning to his room.

Anya calmed once his voice filled her sleep. A blanket was tossed onto her and she hugged the blanket and soon fell into a completely dreamless slumber.

Anya woke up on the ground, a blanket wrapped tightly around her. She sat up slowly. A yawn escaped her lips and she rubbed her head.

Brandon sighed as he lapped the mansion for the fourtyeth time and walked in. He wasn't the least bit tired or sweaty.
He kids missed the exhaustion some times and Thea feeling of accomplishing something because you worked hard to do it. Now he knew he could do practically anything so accomplishements meant less.
He hated that feeling.

Anya wondered where Brandon went. She had half a mind to sneak into his study again and try to look at the journal, but thought against it. Instead she went to her own room and changed into gym shorts and a sports bra. She went outside to run for a bit. She passed brandon on her way out, but didnt say anything to him.

Brandon barricaded himself in the blood room, drinking and drinking to fill tehe emptiness that lay inside him. He forgot to turn them off, his emotions, and the build up was slowly attacking his mind. The pain and the hurt.

After a few gasped breaths he turned them off only to sulk towards his room leaving a bloody mess.

Anya ran around the mansion a couple times, keeping her breathing even and level. She was calm and relaxed. After about half an hour or so, she went back inside and grabbed a glass of water. She passed by Brandons room and rapped ehr knockles on the door. "need anything before i go take a shower?" She called through the door.

He curled around his chest and whimpered in despair. He always ended up this way. On this day, every year.
The day he was turned.
Otherwise known as his birthday.

Anya heard the whimpers from inside and sighed. She pushed open the door and went over to him. She crouched down behind him and wrapped an arm around. "Hey, what's the matter?" she asked softly, rubbing his arm gently.

He turned his head and growled bitterly, why did she care? He was the one who had massacred entire villages and destroyed families yet she was trying to comfort him? He laughed in the improbability of it all.
"nothings wrong, death just decided to visit me. " he mumbled.

"Need to talk about it?" She asked him softly. Her eyes were kind and she wanted to be tehre for him if he needed her. He might not show her compasion, but she would do what she had to, to try to earn it.

Brandon barked a laugh. "Talking about things only reopened the wound that you have yet to close fully." he said lapsing back into an older way of speaking.

Anya nodded and just stayed next to him. The thought dawned on her that she should probably get changed into something besides her running outfit. But Brandon seemed more important.

Brandon looked at her with pained eyes. "Why? Why can't I just die?" he grabbed a bottle or vodka and chugged it down and reached for another.

"I've been asking myself that question for years." Anya grabbed the bottles from him to stop him. "This wont help you." She put the bottle down and took his hands in hers to keep him from grabbing any more bottles. "If you are thirsty..." She paused and thought for a second. "take from me."

Basically he is either the super hot man of every gal's dreams or a pretty sad sight but I know one thing for sure. He is sooo much better than Edward Cullen.)

Brandon laughed again letting himself become drunk. "What's made you all 'bite me, I wanna help you, you poor dishel..dishev,.. Unkept guy.."
