Naruto climbed in the other side making sure to give her some personal space.

Sakura blushed but rolled to her side, facing him. "Naruto? Can you promise me something...?"

He gave her a goodnight kiss before holding her close as he fell asleep. Sakura nodded, smiling. she then leaned in and kissed him softly.

Nite stirred and sat up. "Sasuke, are you alright?"

Sasuke grunted while Sakura whimpered. A battle raged on in the dream world between Sakura and Sasuke, both of them fighting for their lives.

(this is gonna be sasuke and sakura's dream)

t was night in the middle of nowhere, and Sakura found herself next to Naruto, hidden in the trees. Someone was after them, Naruto giving her a signal to stay back. He pressed a finger against his lips, looking her in the eye. He placed his fingers together, the sound of clones being made in the distance was audible. She understood what he was trying to do. She heard the sound of one clone poof away.

"Naruto," she whispered, "What's going on?"

His eyes widened, "He's here, come on!" He grabbed Sakura's hand, dragging her along with him. She followed, trying to keep up with the boy.

"Who is he?"

"Who do you think, It's Sasuke!" He looked back, then closed his eyes for a second, wincing. "Oh crap, he got the second one.. Sakura, stay here!"

"No, I'm not letting you go off and get yourself killed, let me come too!"

"Forget it Sakura, just run! I'll buy you some time, it's me he wants the most anyway."

"Naruto!" Sasuke was right behind him. Naruto faced him, Kunai in hand.

"Run!"

Sakura couldn't move. She reached for her Kunai, but found nothing. She tried to channel chakra into her hand, but nothing was happening. She saw Sasuke start to rush Naruto, catching him in a paralysis. She got in the way of the blade, shrieking as it pierced her in the chest, straight through her left lung. She gasped, feeling Naruto catch her body. He cried out in pain. Her world was going black as she heard bits of a sentence. "You will feel the same pain I've felt."

Sakura shot up, screaming Naruto's name in bloody murder while Sasuke shot up, yelling Sakura's name in shock...Sasuke looked terrified of himself while Sakura simply fell limp.

Naruto shook Sakura, panic setting in.
Nite looked at Sasuke, her nowmally empty eyes filled to the brin with panic and worry. "Sasuke-kun, are you alright?" She asked in a small voice.

Sakura screamed his name again as she shot up, crying her eyes out.

Sasuke's eyes were filled with fear, sweat covered his forehead. He looked to Nite before suddenly pulling her into his arms and holding her tightly.

Naruto held her, not speaking.
Nite was worried and held Sasuke in return. "Are you alright?" She said very softly.

"Nite, I need you to make a promise to me," he whispered to her, his arms around her tightly.

Sakura clinged to Naruto, tears soaking his shirt. She nearly lost him. But it was true, she would die for him; no matter what.

Naruto rubbed slow circles in Sakura's back to calm her down.

Sakura looked up at him, tears falling but she wasn't sobbing hysterically anymore.

Sasuke pulled away, looking into her eyes firmly, "If I become something evil...will you deal with it? Before I hurt you? Or Seto? Or anyone else?"
