Nite smiled and sighed when the house phone went off. She reached over and answered the extention in their bedroom. "Hello? Naruto? Yeah, sure. I understand. See you two then." She hung up.

Nite got up, getting dressed in black jeans and a black t-shirt. She dialed the number to Ayumi's cell phone, figuring if she didn't pick up there, she's call her home number.

Ayumi, as she turned her head to look at Sai, nodded. "Yeah, if we stick together we should have less of a risk of getting hurt. We'll be on our way," she responded to her childhood friend. "We'll see you at Sakura's." Before Nite could speak anymore, the kunoichi hung up with a sigh. Placing her phone on the desk, she rested her hand on the wood and ran her other hand through her long auburn hair. "Things are getting out of hand," she remarked to the dark haired and pale skinned man next to her; her tone was anything but Ayumi-like. She'd always sound calm and serene. Now her voice was quiet, soft, and frantic. She felt fear running through her veins for her friend.

Nite did the same, closing her eyes. "I think....it'd be best if Itatchi came to get Seto until I was certain that no danger would befall him. I mean, Itatchi has a habit of disappearing when he needs to so, Seto would be safe with him." Nite's usually strong voice was cracking with pain.

Sasuke looked to Nite and, for now, his hate for Itachi vanished and was replaced by the pain for Nite. "I may not like Itachi, in fact I hate him, but if it's for Seto..." he whispered as he held her.
