Foster looked at Amaria first. "It wouldn't have been Luke who summoned it. He wouldn't go back on that path." Foster turned his gaze to Chiron, "No it's not. And the fact that it's him bugs me."
Foster didn't say why but in his mind it was because of his whole life and how Griffin was similar to Percy.
Foster then got an excruciating headache. He bent forward in pain. He saw a tiny and short image. It was Chiron and He was talking to Griffin. And well he was eaves dropping. In this vision Chiron said, "You're similar to Percy. But your future will be different. No one lives the same life. He saw a gold flicker in his own eyes and the vision faded.
Foster's headache slowly died. And he came out of pain visibly pail which was hard for the tan boy.

Amaria frowned. "What is it? Are you alright?" her own ADHD kicked. "We need to find out who did this and stop what ever is going on." she looked at Chiron who nodded gravely.

"Just a glimpse of the future." he avoided looking at Chiron. His eyes were glued to Griffin. No one knew he got glimpses of the future they had there hunches he was a son of Apollo and apparently his favorite, but the favorite was rumor. He continued to look at Griffin, "We need that quest Chiron. And I have a hunch it should be his." he pointed to Griffin. His Hun he's were quite accurate, and people tended to follow them even if they sounded stupid.

"I'll keep you posted." Foster said, as he gave him some Ambrosia because the poison started to spread again. Foster wouldn't be leaving the med cabin for a while. Last time he did this was when an older camper arrived.

Amaria didn't know if she should stay or go. She knew they're was nothing you could do but, she wasn't tired and Foster might want someone to talk to. She decided if he asked her to, she'd stay. If not, she'd go back to her cabin.

Chiron nodded and left the med cabin.

Foster only looked up after Chiron left he was glad he had said nothing about the headache. He was also glad that for the time being Amaria seemed to forget about it. "You can stay if you want. I'll need someone to keep me up." He told her, with a half smile. To be honest he was to scared to sleep, he didn't want to know what his dreams would be.

"Thanks." He said, breathing a sigh of relief. He looked at Foster's hand, the sting had stopped oozing, and its swelling was going down. He looked at the veins the poison for now was receeding. "He's had a crappy first day. Sadly I probably didn't help it at all. He's probably scared of me ya know." He said. The two guys were the same age but everyone couldn't help but think of Griffin as younger.

Amaria shrugged. "I can see how fighting him would scare him. Especially when he just found out his dad was a god and he's confused because he was claimbed but also blessed by Hermes so a lot of the kids resent him."

"it makes me want to know about his past. But I don't think he knows to much of the truth." Foster said. "TO bad I don't see the past, just glimpses of the future." He looked down. Griffin seemed to be doing better still. "I feel bad for him." He sighed, he wshed that vision wouldn't come true but he knew it would. And it worried him.

Amaria nodded. "Mmm...no teen should have to go through everything most demigods go through. First, hormones changing then you'v got odd powers showing up and monster...yeah. I knw what you mean about feeling bad for him. He's had a bad time which really sucks."

"I just hope that his quest isn't something that could kill him, well then it wouldn't be a quest." He sighed. "I wish I knew who would send a pit scorpion on him though?" But he had a sinking feeling again that he knew. He heard coward whispered in his head again.

Foster said nothing in reply. Guilt filled his eyes. He looked and Griffin again. Griffin would have been mistaken for dead by any normal person.
Foster knew why he had that sinking feeling. He just didn't want to believe it. But the offer, the vision. He sighed he knew it was inevitable.

"I would hate to be that person." He said after she got him out of his daze. "Sorry my mind was wondering. Thinking of a new poem." he lied it was obvious in his voice. His eyes didn't need to help some see past it. Of course Griffin would no right of the bat. But Griffin was lying unconscious on a bed with his body filled with pit scorpion poison.

"Yes I would really hate to be that person." he said hoping the subject would change.
He watched as the poison receded but the sting on his hand was oozing puss. He did a bit of magic, a rare sight unless you were an Apollo kid and the swelling and oozing stopped.

Amaria watched quietly and decided to let it go. He'd tell her if he wanted her to know. "Yeah. They better hope the long gone before I find out or it'll be worse than if they went to the field of punishment."

Foster paled it was less noticeable than before. He was really tired he hadn't been sleeping well. But Griffin's health was more important than his sleep. And he was the only one who knew how to care for the bite.

As she was away. Foster dozed for the tiniest fraction of a second. He was pulled away from camp half blood and given the offer yet again. He knew he had to say yes. All conscious thought left his mind. He was filled with greed and and anger. He accepted the offer. And awoke in the dark med cabin. Guilt flooded him. The poison in Griffin continued to recede. He had alot more on his plate now.

Amaria, as she walked through the chiolly night air, she vaugely wondered when she'd cme oput of shock and it would finally hit her that Ace was dead, Foster didn't trust her, and Griffin was hurt. Probably not a few more hours. She fixed two cups of coffee and headed back to med cabin. "Here ya go." She said, handing Foster his cup.

"Thanks." he said taking the coffee. He knew it was more important now than ever to keep his friends close. He couldn't back on his decision nor did he want to. But he knew at the same time he would need friends to make his plan work.
