Re: They Never Left
Topher ducked in, and Foster tried to block him. Taxi drivers always followed the games. The two soccer players needed to be not so big, but that wasn't going to happen. Over the radio they both heard, that Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool were looking at both of them.

Re: They Never Left
((adios I won't be back on until sunday, probably))
Naava imediately slipped into the front seat and started talking animatedly about baseball- particularly the team whose arch rival's sticker just happened to be on the taxi's dash. She had dated a dragon once who was really into baseball.
By the time they reached the airport, the driver was so mad he hardly noticed the money he was handed, much less the two soccer players.

Re: They Never Left
(you realize he would probably be a soccer fan too, considering they are in England)
Foster and Topher slipped out of the Taxi, grabbed their bags, and tried to remain hidden in the airport. Of course their bags gave them away. But no one asked for autographs yet, people were still behind on the news of the match at the airport.

They're in England? And not everyone is a football fan here in Bri'ain.
Anyway, as you guys have dashed off to the airport, have you got any idea on how I should leap back into this thing?

(well this taxi driver is... i mentioned that he had the game on in the radio. Try and follow them or something. And yeah. Foster is from Ireland, his team came over to play Topher's team, because Topher is from around London, Surry to be exact. )

Re: They Never Left
Surrey? Cool. Anyway, you guys have a stalker...
"That's what I said," the girl sighed in the back of the taxi, "Anyway, thanks Gramps."
With her killer intuition, it was easy to say that she knew what was going on...kinda. She looked out of the window to see the two football stars climbing out of their taxi.
"I gotta go, I'm at the airport," she smirked, flipping her phone down without another word, "Here."
She passed the cash to the singing taxi driver before slipping out of it whilst they were screaming about a tip. Hey, they shouldn't have given her a private concert.
Trying to keep a straight face, she slipped through, her backpack slung over her back as she tapped on one of their shoulders.
"Hey, umm... May I ask you guys a question?" she asked, an inquisitive look on her face.

Foster turned, and nudged Topher to keep on going and not looke back. "Yeah." He asked, about to pull a sharpie out of his bag to autograph something of hers.
Topher kept on walking, and didn't looke back, people were sure to start recognizing him soon.

The girl smirked, "No, Silly, I don't want an autograph."
She chuckled at that and waved him down so that she could whisper in his ear.
"Are you a dragon?" she whispered, acting a tad childish.

Foster rolled his eyes. "You've got some imagination, you probably think your a dragon." He laughed. Pretending like he knew nothing of the subject.
Topher, sat in a chair, stuffed his bag under the seat, and put his nose in a book. People looked at him oddly sure enough the news about the game was getting out.

Terri smirked, giggling slightly "That's because I am one... Anyway, I'm tagging along with you! Okay?"
She got off of the tips of her toes and continued to let her smile grow. She seemed so immature.

Foster laughed, wishing he wasn't here alone. He didn't know what to say and was flustered. He needed guidence in this instance mainly because he was not in charge of this little trip.

Re: They Never Left
Nola ran for what seemed like three geological years, not entirely sure where she was headed, but not nervous about where she'd end up. Eventually when she'd reached the point of her lungs feeling like they could fall off and her knees buckling, she slowed down. Bending in the grass, she rifled around in her bag and found a half empty water bottle. It was warm from sitting out in the hot sun, but it would have to do. Lifting the lid to her chapped lips, she downed the rest of it in nearly thirty seconds and popped another piece of gum in her mouth after it.
Now that she'd put enough distance between herself and the stadium, she was able to breathe easy without constantly glancing over her shoulder. Nola had reached a street corner and dropped her bag on the sidewalk, the absence of the weight soothing the crick she'd developed in her neck. While she rested on the bench, her breathing eventually returned to it's normal pattern and then she was left with a silence that only meant one thing: What happens next?
Absently, she rubbed her temples as she hunched her back a little with her elbows placed on her knees. Realizing that she had absolutely nowhere to go, Nola figured that she might as well get a taxi to start. Placing her two fingers in her mouth, the whistled sharply twice, breaking the silent air.
"Taxi!" She called, picking up her bag and hoisting it over her shoulder once again.
A taxi pulled up to the curb a moment later, and Nola hastily hopped into the backseat. Reaching into her wallet, she pulled out a few bills and pushed them into the driver's hand.
"Where to?"
She paused. Then, without thinking about it, her mouth formed the words before her mind could process them:
"The airport."

Re: They Never Left
The drive wasn't too long, maybe a half hour or so, and in that time Nola leaned against the head rest and let music unwind her tight muscles. Ever inch of her felt on edge, and the driver knew it. Nola could read people easily, and she knew that he wouldn't press questions.
He pulled up to the parking garage, right next to the elevator that led down to terminal C. Nola pressed another 5 dollar bill in the driver's hand instead of saying thank you, and hopped out.
She watched as his tires squealed against the floor until he was just a speck in the distance, and then she was alone again. Pacing over to the elevator, she pressed the lobby button and the clear glass doors slid open into a small round room with a red carpet. Soft music filled the small space as she descended further and further to the mass of people below.
The doors opened again, and Nola stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. Her gray eyes scanned the crowd with interest as she walked; resting apon a sunburnt tourist, then a business woman with sharp features, and then she stopped. The two males in the group she'd recognized from somewhere...
And then she knew.
The game.
Not entirely sure of approaching the group, Nola waited at a far enough distance for a second before walking towards them.

Re: They Never Left
Blinking a few times, the girl put on a frown, "I'll take it as a no then..."
With a sigh, she took out a lollypop from her bag and slipped it into her mouth. She waved at the boy and then headed off again.

Re: They Never Left
(Sure- and @ Nikkibee- sorry! D: I didn't even realize...)
Nola, still working her jaw, glanced at the row of chairs against the south wall and migrated over to them. She was looking down at her feet the whole time, her face blank but the wheels in her mind actually turning.
A family of 8 took up most of the chairs, but there was still a few empty that sat far away from the crowd. Not paying much attention, she sunk into a chair next to a boy with his face partially covered with a book. He seemed content, not seeming interested in striking up a conversation.
Nola bent down and retrieved To Kill a Mockingbird from her own bag; she'd read it before and never grew tired of it.
