Re: They Never Left
Dimitri: I sauntered through the park and walked towards a soccer game, a good sport, might as well watch seeing as I have nothing else to do.
June: I sat on the swings across from the soccer field and sighed, I really wanted to play, but how would I ask?

Lol! That's such a funny coincidence. I'll change mine, no worries. I was thinking about changing her name to Nola, anyways, so it's no problem.

Sylithia: I watched the game waiting for the finish. My mind absently wandering to details I noticed, and other things.

Re: They Never Left
Nola waited in the winding line, watching as a poor parent desperately tried to get her daughter to pick what flavor milkshake she wanted.
"I want strawberry!" The toddler complained, stomping her foot.
"I already told you, sweetie, they're out of strawberry flavor. You can get vanilla or chocolate." The parent pleaded.
Eventually, the kid chose the chocolate and the line began to slowly inch forward again. Nola grew more antsy by the minute. With a glance at her hand, she realized that she'd been clenching and unclenching her fists into tiny balls. However, it wasn't hard to keep her face composed; she'd had practice on mastering this over the years.

Rose fidgeted nervously in her seat, unable to tear her eyes from the game. Why was she so scared. Why? Surely this was all in her head. It couldn't be that there was any real danger. She was always making something out of nothing. It was definitely all in her head.

Re: They Never Left
Terri sighed as she took her seat again, her cousin sitting in her seat. Typical; she'd have to sit by the really cute guy...
"Okay Tomster, I got you this," she smiled, taking the bottle out of her pocket before passing it to him.
"It's red! Ewww!" he shouted, "I like yellow!"
"Tommy, please?" she asked.
"I need the toilet!" he shouted before her grandpa nodded.
"I'll take him," he sighed, "Score's on the board."
With a nod of thanks, Terri took her seat and took a long, slow mouthfuk of the blue ice with a sigh.
She spied that guy with the slightly shifty look in his eye again before sighing.
"He seemed like someone that would do anything to get what he wants, eh?" she said to herself, geting a weird look from the guy next to her, but she didn't see it, "Maybe he's one of us?"
"He's on the red's side and isn't switching love," he said with a confused look his face.
"Oh, thanks, but I wasn't actually talking about that..." she smiled before slurping her drink once more.

Re: They Never Left
Once Nola had finally made it to the front of the line, she placed her crumpled bill on the counter and quietly requested a lemon slurpie.
"Coming right up," The cashier passed her back $0.50 and poured the yellow drink in a styrofoam cup. As she walked, she sipped the drink and tried to remember what section of the stadium she'd been sitting in.

Naava almost wished something would happen to releive the tension she felt building. She hated being able to do nothing except watch this play out.

Re: They Never Left
Nola swallowed uneasily, finally finding her seat in section 24 C. Lit up on the jumbotron was the score stats, which had changed since she'd left her seat by a few points to the navy blue team.
A clap of faint thunder sounded in the distance, but the game proceeded without interruption.

Re: They Never Left
Ricky smirked at an oppertunity; Topher had the ball and he was going for it. He quickly glanced to the time above; not much left.
"And...go!" he told himself, sprinting across the pitch.
Upon approaching, he slid right into the back of him, his spiked feet colliding right into the backs of his legs before the whistle blew. All he could see was the scarlet stain rising from his legs.
Yes, that is the best that I can think of.

Re: They Never Left
Nola raised a brow as she watched the scene unfold on the field, and collectively fans around her quietly gasped. The toddler from the snack bar predicament whined as she spilled her milkshake on her shirt, oblivious.
Nola had known that something was off, and her suspicions were just confirmed.

Re: They Never Left
Topher fell as the whistle blew, hitting the ground. Before the medics could get to him Foster reached him, and heaved him up onto his shoulder, and carried him off the feild, more like sprinted with him off the feild. They weren't about to blow their cover.
"Ricky was all over you mate." Foster said.
"I realize that, we gotta get out of here."
"What about the reporters, and the scouts?"
"They'll have to wait. I think Ricky is one of the hunters. Set me down now, can run."
The two ran out of the stadium, and went to a place nearby wher they were certain no one knew there names.

Re: They Never Left
"My suspicions were right then," he muttered to himself, "Well that's my football career over and done with. Oh well."
The whole medic crews were surprised, some attempting to tun after the pair but it was obvious that they weren't going to catch-up easily.
With the two captains gone, the game was halted, the Blues winning. The whole crowd didn't seem to be cheering though; the whole stadium was of an eerie silence, all eyes were on Ricky.
With a wave to the crowd, he limped off the pitch too, leaving the players exhausted, the crowd shocked and the press buzzed; this would probably go down in history at least.

Re: They Never Left
"You saw that- right?" Naava asked and the others nodded, astounded.
Without hesitating, Naava turned and ran, half dragging Sylithia behind her.
Two famous soccer players could have just blown their cover. They would hardly go unrecognized for long. Besides, Uncle Russ would be estatic if he could offer them shelter.
She saw a flash of color from one of their uniforms and put on another burst of speed.

Re: They Never Left
(open the game ended)
Topher and Foster kept running after their short break, "We gotta change." Topher said.
Foster nodded, and the two went into a store, they got clothes easily and ran back out. If it weren't that they looked like two rising soccer stars, they could have gone on inconspicuos and not seen. But they were, so they kept on running, "Hotel." Foster said.
The pair split up and made there way to the hotel.
