Elena thought, being a senior this year, that she would be over the feeling of seeing a guy and butterflies coming to her stomach. But Justin had tended to have this effect on her ever since their sophmore year. She simply flipped her hair and said, "Hey, Justin."

Lexi smiled, "Oh than I should be here not him." Lexi backed away from Justin's arm; he may have been like an older brother but it wasn't worth it.

Justin nodded, "You guys umm Lexi isn't my girl friend. She's like a little sister to me."

"For the recede I'm not color guard." Lauren said. She hated being limped in with them. She liked them and all but she was not a color guard. Twirling and color guard were completely different.

"Well it's more than color guard talk because I'm here." Randy said.

Elena looked at Lexi, who was still slightly standing behind Justin. "So," she said, "you're back in color guard? How long has it been since you practiced last?" Elena felt awkward talking to Lexi, but happy that she was back.

Elena couldn't help but laugh and she couldn't help but get excited to teach a new color guard girl. There hadn't been a color guard captain selected yet and if she got the chance to show her skills she would take it.

Lauren felt awkward talking about color guard since she wasn't one. She didn't really know what to do.

Elena could feel the conversation falling apart so said, "Um...well, I have to go put the rest of my stuff in the cabin. Does anyone want to come with me?"

Lauren smiled, she wished she was more sociable, with people who weren't her best friends.

"I went to nationals, for twirling, camp, you?" she asked. Her life was pretty much twirling, twenty four seven she was quite a boring person.

"I went to color guard camp. It was alot of fun. And I learned some twirling too! Then just a few weeks ago I went to a dance camp." One thing Elena and Lauren had in common was that most of their lives were composed of band and twirling/color guard.
