Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
I SWEaR I posted. I.I
And it was really long.
Marco sighed deeply, his dark eyes flckerng between the faces of each passerby. He waited ever so patiently on this wrought iron bench, picking the black paint where it had peeled from the constant changes in the temperature. His eyes met that of a couple of women, all of which he nodded to slightly with a gentlemanly smile. But, all the while, he was looking for a signal. Rght next to him was a Costa. A Costa that would be left penniless with a matter of minutes. He was the best at what he does. He plans. He acts. He calculates. He flirts along the way. He was by far the best in this business. The business of crime that is. He plans every minute detail and assesses the outcome of every possibility. A mastermind, is all he can be described as. He waited for the signal; something so subtle, yet so unusual.
And there it was. A man dressed in such plain clothing leaves an empty wallet by the water fountain opposite. Marco stood, turned to his left, and entered the cafe, standing at the back of the queue.
Dixie was in close proximity. In fact, just four people away. How can I help you? What would you like, sir? Could I interest you in a costa coffee canvas bag? They're free with every order over $35.
She chirped every Saturday. Today was no different. Yet. Three people away now.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
Alex sat in the coffee shop, not drinking tea, nor coffee. He disliked both, in his cup was water, plain water. Well ice now. He crunched it, although dentists told him not to, he didn't care what dentists had to see. He ate the ice, and sat at the small table. He shook his cup a few times to get a good cube of ice to chew.
He observed the people around him. He saw many people, some texting, some on computers. But it was the ones sitting alone taking sips out of their lates that intrigued him the most.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
(Marco doesn't like coffee either, unless it's Italian, so he hates Costa. But nevertheless, he shall buy one. )
The another in front of him passed as he wrinkled his nose at the rather pathetic drinks section. He glanced to his right, being certain that not one of the plan was yet in sight. They had, so far, followed his instructions closely. Honestly, if they didn't follow them, he would have to change part of the plan to make it work for them, which can be difficult when you act the hostage. He didn't mind. They'd only have to pay him more if they made mistakes, and they were already paying him just over a grand.
Once again, he looked back to the front, seeing a motionless queue. On the left, sat a few sipping their coffee, a couple burning their tongues, and one just sitting there, crunching on what looked either like mints or ice...

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
Alex swallowed the cube he had been working on, and leaned back in the chair. He was at a coffee shop and he hated coffee, it made so much sense to him. Truthfully it didn't, he was waiting, just waiting. People watching. Looking at the line of people, he caught a man looking at him, Alex acknowledged him, then looked out the window of the shop. A wind was blowing, as a magazine flew across the street.
He put the cup to his mouth, and let another piece of ice fall in.

Midnight sat at a bench across the street watching. She didn't know why. She just knew she was.

(I want to wait for OTD until i do the whole robbery thing. :3 )
Dixie frowned at the woman standing before her. "I'm sorry miss, your credit card isn't accepted. Do you have any cash on you?" she asked, looking a little troubled as she saw the cups on the woman's tray. She, however, looked even more panicked.
"Well, I-I'm sorry, but... But..." she bit her bottom lip.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
Awww thanks for waiting
"Where's the bus?!" the girl hissed.
Her eyes darted about the roads, trying to find a bus, but nothing was coming, and not anytime soon. She hated the fact that her small box-of-a-car was in the garage.
She clasped her hands together, blowing into them deeply.
"Ilia, just go to a Costa, lovie..."
She looked over the street to the coffee shop, looking at the queue; not many in the there actually, but she'd need to get it to go.
"Latté it is then," she mutters, checking the road before crossing into the shop.
By this time Ilia was regretting not wearing thicker tights for work; she just forgot what it was like standing around doing nothing for ages without any idea on the bus times.
She slipped onto the back of the cue, the strong smell of coffee happily filling her nose. Looking around, she noticed the people inside, most just gossiping and catching-up on various things. Then, she saw him.
The deep olive tone, the sexy leather jacket, the slight look of annoyance on his face. Yummy.
Sighing, she flicked open her purse, grabbing the cash that she needed, attempting to work out if she could afford a muffin too or not.

Alex leaned back in the chair, and let go of his cup of ice. Some of it had melted, so he then took it up, and drank the water the melted ice had left.
He drummed the table with his fingers, matching the beat of the smooth jazz music playing in the cafe.
he slipped the sporty sunglasses onto the top of his head, as he decided he would sit in the cafe till he had finished his cup of ice.

She stared at him once again through the window, knowing he didn't notice. She just looked like someone sitting on a bench. No reason to be suspicious.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
Alex finished yet another piece of ide, and began to eat another. A person's credit card had been declined, why people needed to spend so much he did not know. The person probably spent all her money on coffee, another erason why he prefered water.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
He turned around again, sighing as the woman at the front of the queue argued with Dixie. He smiled and nodded at the girl beside him as he turned, but looked quickly out of the window. Still no signs of anyone, which of course was a good thing. He faced the front sharpishly, once again breathing heavily as the two argued. After Marco shook his head, a hand slipped into his jeans pocket, drawing from the denim a rather battered leather wallet. He filed through the wad of money, taking out a crumpled twenty, and tapping the girl's shoulder with it. She blinked and took it without a word, thrusting it into Dixie's hand. She mouthed a "Thankyou" to Marco, before hurriedly walking out with her now lukewarm coffees. The next person stepped forward, and Marco turned to the side, smiling again at the girl behind him. It was only a couple of minutes away. He was to ask for three different coffees, taking her attention away from the front long enough for the eight armed men and one armed woman to walk in.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
No muffin today Ilia. Oh well.
The girl sighed to herself before looking up, her eyes looking directly into the guy infront. Phwoar. Attempting a small smile, she didn't actually know if it was to her or not, but it wasn't the first time that she's made an idiot in a coffee shop, like when she thought that she did have enough money... But anyway.
"Why doesn't people just hurry up?! I have a bus to catch..." she muttered to herself though it was rather loud, Second time in a coffee shop m'dear. Second damn time.

Alex was almost finished with his ice, pity. He took the white sunglasses off the top of his head and examined them. But he wasn't looking at them his icy blue eyes were once again scanning the coffee shop.

Re: Feeling (not so) Good.
Alex finished his ice with a frown. But he had a slight craving for chocolate. He questioned if he should even have it. But of course his want for the chocolaty drink over came his rationality of why he technically should not have it. He put his glasses on the top of his head, and stood in line.
